Here are my picks for week fourteen of the 2019 College Football season.
Tuesday, November 26th
Ohio (5-6; 3-4) at Akron (0-11; 0-7)- 6:00, ESPN+
Pick: Ohio
Western Michigan (7-4; 5-2) at Northern Illinois (4-7; 3-4)- 7:00, ESPNU
Pick: Western Michigan
Thursday, November 28th
Ole Miss (4-7; 2-5) at Mississippi State (5-6; 2-5)- 8:00, ESPN: Egg Bowl! The Bulldogs need this game to get bowl eligible, but the Rebels have been the better team over the past few weeks and I think they play spoiler here and get the win.
Pick: Ole Miss
Friday, November 29th
Texas Tech (4-7; 2-7) at Texas (6-5; 4-4)- 12:00, FOX: Both of these teams have failed to live up to expectations, but I think that the Longhorns want to avoid a losing season.
Pick: Texas
(24) Virginia Tech (8-3; 5-2) at Virginia (8-3; 5-2)- 12:00, ABC: This fun rivalry this time is for the right to play Clemson in the ACC title game. I think the Wahoos are due to come through in this rivalry and I think Bryce Perkins has a big game to lead them to a win.
Pick: Virginia
Bowling Green (3-8; 2-5) at Buffalo (6-5; 4-3)- 12:00, ESPN+
Pick: Buffalo
Kent State (5-6; 4-3) at Eastern Michigan (6-5; 3-4)- 12:00, ESPN+: The Golden Flashes need this game to become bowl eligible and I believe they'll get it.

Pick: Miami-Ohio

Pick: Missouri
(19) Cincinnati (10-1; 7-0) at (18) Memphis (10-1; 6-1)- 3:30, ABC: These are the best two teams in this conference and the point spread suggests the Tigers will win this comfortably since the Bearcats know they'll be in the conference title game. I do think the Tigers win it, but the Bearcats will keep it within single digits.
Pick: Memphis
(20) Boise State (10-1; 7-0) at Colorado State (4-7; 3-4)- 3:30, CBSSN
Pick: Boise State
Washington State (6-5; 3-5) at Washington (6-5; 3-5)- 4:00, FOX: This is always a fun rivalry game. The Huskies have massively underachieved this season, but I think they get the win in front of their home faithful.
Pick: Washington
West Virginia (4-7; 2-6) at TCU (5-6; 3-5)- 4:15, ESPN: The Horned Frogs need this one to become bowl eligible and I believe they get it done, but it won't be easy against an improved Mounatineers defense.
Pick: TCU
Arkansas State (7-4; 5-2) at South Alabama (1-10; 0-7)- 5:00, ESPN+
Pick: Arkansas State
(25) Appalachian State (10-1; 7-1) at Troy (5-6; 3-4)- 6:00, ESPN+: Upset special as the Mountaineers are peaking ahead a little bit.
Pick: Troy
South Florida (4-7; 2-5) at UCF (8-3; 5-2)- 8:00, ESPN
Pick: UCF
Saturday, November 30th
(1) Ohio State (11-0; 8-0) at (13) Michigan (9-2; 6-2)- 12:00, FOX: The Game is always a fun rivalry. Justin Fields and Chase Young will be the best players on the field on the respective sides of the ball and I think it will be another domination from the Buckeyes.
Pick: Ohio State
(3) Clemson (11-0; 8-0) at South Carolina (4-7; 3-5)- 12:00, ESPN: This screams domination by Trevor Lawrence and Company.
Pick: Clemson
(4) Georgia (10-1; 7-1) at Georgia Tech (3-8; 2-6)- 12:00, ABC
Pick: Georgia
Texas State (3-8; 2-5) at Coastal Carolina (4-7; 1-6)- 12:00, ESPN+

Pick: Charlotte
Wyoming (7-4; 4-3) at Air Force (9-2; 6-1)- 2:00
Pick: Air Force
New Mexico State (2-9) at Liberty (6-5)- 2:00, ESPN+

Rice (2-9; 2-5) at UTEP (1-10; 0-7)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: Rice
UNLV (3-8; 1-6) at Nevada (7-4; 4-3)- 3:00
Pick: Nevada
(5) Alabama (10-1; 7-1) at (15) Auburn (8-3; 4-3)- 3:30, CBS: Iron Bowl! Always one of the best rivalry games of the season. Nothing will ever beat this ending, but I do think with the injury to Tua Tagovailoa opens it up for the Tigers to spoil any hope the Tide have of sneaking into the College Football Playoff. Tigers win it for the second time in three seasons.
Pick: Auburn
Rutgers (2-9; 0-8) at (10) Penn State (9-2; 6-2)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Penn State
(12) Wisconsin (9-2; 6-2) at (9) Minnesota (10-1; 7-1)- 3:30, ABC: This is a big one for the rights to get to the Big-10 Championship game to face the Ohio State Buckeyes. GameDay is here for this one as well as they cross another school off the list of schools they have not visited. The Gophers are a surprising under dog in this game and I like how this offense led by Tanner Morgan is rolling. Give me the Gophers to win it to take on the Buckeyes.
Pick: Minnesota
(9) Baylor (10-1; 7-1) at Kansas (2-9; 1-7)- 3:30, ESPN
Pick: Baylor
Connecticut (2-9; 0-7) at Temple (7-4; 4-3)- 3:30, CBSSN

Pick: FAU
UTSA (4-7; 3-4) at Louisiana Tech (8-3; 5-2)- 3:30, ESPN+
Pick: Louisiana Tech
Boston College (5-6; 3-5) at Pittsburgh (7-4; 4-3)- 3:30, ACCN: The Eagles are playing for a bowl spot here, but I think they fall short.
Pick: Pittsburgh
Miami (6-5; 4-3) at Duke (4-7; 2-5)- 3:30, ACCN
Pick: Duke
Maryland (3-8; 1-7) at Michigan State (5-6; 3-5)- 3:30, FS1: Sparty needs this to become bowl eligible and I believe they'll get it.
Pick: Michigan State
Oregon State (5-6; 4-4) at (12) Oregon (9-2; 7-1)- 4:00, Pac-12: This is going to be a much closer game than people expect.
Pick: Oregon
(16) Notre Dame (9-2) at Stanford (4-7; 3-6)- 4:00, FOX: This would normally be a sexy game, but not this season. The Irish should win this comfortably.
Pick: Notre Dame
Tulane (6-5; 3-4) at SMU (9-2; 5-2)- 4:00, ESPNU
Pick: SMU
Vanderbilt (3-8; 1-6) at Tennessee (6-5; 4-3)- 4:00, SECN
Pick: Tennessee
UAB (8-3; 5-2) at North Texas (4-7; 3-4)- 4:00
Pick: UAB
Utah State (6-5; 5-2) at New Mexico (2-9; 0-7)- 4:00
Pick: Utah State
Georgia State (7-4; 4-3) at Georgia Southern (6-5; 4-3)- 6:00, ESPN+
Pick: Georgia Southern
Texas A&M (7-4; 4-3) at (2) LSU (11-0; 7-0)- 7:00, ESPN: The Tigers need to show a little something to the committee after being bumped down a spot.
Pick: LSU
(23) Iowa State (7-4; 5-3) at Kansas State (7-4; 4-4)- 7:00, FS1
Pick: Kansas State
Navy (8-2; 6-1) at Houston (4-7; 2-5)- 7:00, ESPN2
Pick: Navy
North Carolina (5-6; 3-4) at NC State (4-7; 1-6)- 7:00, ACCN: The Tar Heels need this one to become bowl eligible and I believe they'll beat their in-state rivals.
Pick: North Carolina
Colorado (5-6; 3-5) at (6) Utah (10-1; 7-1)- 7:30, ABC: The Utes are under some pressure to go and get some style points to show the committee they are playoff worthy.
Pick: Utah
Florida State (6-5; 4-4) at (11) Florida (9-2; 6-2)- 7:30, SECN: This is another rivalry game I expect it to be a lot closer than the point spread suggests.
Pick: Florida
UL Monroe (5-6; 4-3) at Louisiana (9-2; 6-1)- 7:30, ESPNU
Pick: Louisiana
(7) Oklahoma (10-1; 7-1) at (21) Oklahoma State (8-3; 5-3)- 8:00, FOX: If the Cowboys quarterback wasn't injured, I would have picked them to win outright. I do think Sam Hubbard helps keep it close, but Jalen Hurts and company will win it.
Pick: Oklahoma
BYU (7-4) at San Diego State (8-3; 5-3)- 10:00, CBSSN
Pick: San Diego State
Arizona (4-7; 2-6) at Arizona State (6-5; 3-5)- 10:30, ESPN: I think there is letdown potential for the Sun Devils after the big upset win, but I think they get the win here at home in a close one.
Pick: Arizona State
California (6-5; 3-5) at UCLA (4-7; 4-4)- 10:30, FS1
Pick: UCLA
Fresno State (4-7; 2-5) at San Jose State (4-7; 1-6)- 10:30, ESPN2
Pick: San Jose State
Army (5-6) at Hawaii (8-4; 5-3)- 11:59, CBSSN: I think the Rainbow Warriors get caught peaking ahead here as the Black Knights clinch a bowl berth.
Pick: Army

2019 NFL Week 12 Picks
Here are my picks for Week 12 of the 2019 NFL season.
Thursday, November 21st
Indianapolis Colts (6-4) vs Houston Texans (6-4)- 8:20, FOX/NFLN: The Colts are coming off a big divisional home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Texans are coming off a disastrous road loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. Both teams are getting key wide receivers and tight ends back from injuries with TY Hilton and Eric Ebron for the Colts and Will Fuller IV for the Texans. This is a fun game that could end up deciding this division and I like the Texans in a bounce back spot at home, despite not having JJ Watt.
Prediction: Houston 27, Indianapolis 24.
Sunday, November 24th
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-7) vs Atlanta Falcons (3-7)- 1:00, FOX: The Buccaneers are coming off a divisional home loss against the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons are coming off another divisional road win, this time in Charlotte against the Panthers. This should be an entertaining game and I'm not sold on this Falcons defense being resurgent (I get it Jameis Winston is a turnover machine), but I actually think the Bucs will pull off the road upset.
Prediction: Tampa Bay 31, Atlanta 27.
Denver Broncos (3-7) vs Buffalo Bills (7-3)- 1:00, CBS: The Broncos are coming off a heartbreaking road loss in Minneapolis against the Vikings in which they blew a 20 point lead in. The Bills are coming off a divisional road win in Miami against the Dolphins. This is going to be an ugly, low scoring game and I think home field advantage plus a coaching advantage give the Bills the edge here.
Prediction: Buffalo 20, Denver 16.
New York Giants (2-8) vs Chicago Bears (4-6)- 1:00, FOX: The Giants are coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost against the New York Jets in what I called "The New York Pooper Bowl". The Bears are coming off a Sunday night road loss in Los Angeles against the Rams. Mitch Trubisky has been the worst starting quarterback in the league this season, but with a few injuries on offense for the Giants, I do think the Bears defense will make just enough stops.
Prediction: Chicago 23, NY Giants 20.
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-5) vs Cincinnati Bengals (0-10)- 1:00, CBS: The Steelers are coming off a Thursday night divisional road loss in Cleveland against the Browns, in which multiple players were involved in the big brawl that happened. The Bengals are coming off a road loss in Oakland against the Raiders. The Steelers won't have James Conner and Ju-Ju Smith Schuster (due to injuries) and Maurkice Pouncey (suspension from brawl), but the Bengals are just so bad. I think the Steelers win it with their defense alone.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 16, Cincinnati 13.
Miami Dolphins (2-8) vs Cleveland Browns (4-6)- 1:00, FOX: The Dolphins are coming off a divisional home loss against the Buffalo Bills. The Browns are coming off a Thursday night divisional home win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, headlined by the brawl. Myles Garrett is suspended for the rest of this season and I won't be shocked if the Browns lose this game outright because it would be soooooo Browns. But, I think they'll get the win thanks to their offense.
Prediction: Cleveland 30, Miami 24.
Carolina Panthers (5-5) vs New Orleans Saints (8-2)- 1:00, CBS: The Panthers are coming off a bad divisional home loss against the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints are coming off a road win in Tampa against the Buccaneers. The Saints offense looks like it's back on track after that one week lull against the Falcons and I think they'll rack up yards against the Panthers as Drew Brees leads them to a win.
Prediction: New Orleans 33, Carolina 20.
Oakland Raiders (6-4) vs New York Jets (3-7)- 1:00, CBS: The Raiders are coming off a home win over the lowly Cincinnati Bengals. The Jets are coming off a road win in Landover against the lowly Redskins. This feels like a trap game for the Raiders, who have the Chiefs next week in a big divisional game, so I'm going to take Sam Darnold and the Jets to win their third in a row.
Prediction: NY Jets 27, Oakland 23.
Seattle Seahawks (8-2) vs Philadelphia Eagles (5-5)- 1:00, FOX: The Seahawks are coming off a bye and two weeks ago, they won a big game on Monday Night Football in Santa Clara against their division rival 49ers. The Eagles are coming off a home loss against the New England Patriots. It's tough to go against Pete Carroll and Russell Wilson off a bye, but I think this is a spot where the Eagles can take advantage of a weak Seahawks secondary and get a big win to keep themselves alive in the NFC East race.
Prediction: Philadelphia 33, Seattle 27.
Detroit Lions (3-6-1) vs Washington Redskins (1-9)- 1:00, FOX: The Lions are coming off a home loss against the Dallas Cowboys. The Redskins are coming off a bad home loss against the New York Jets. The starting quarterbacks in this matchup are Jeff Driskel (filling in for the injured Matthew Stafford) and Dwayne Haskins. I'll give it one more go with the Redskins and take them to finally get a win.
Prediction: Washington 17, Detroit 13.
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-6) vs Tennessee Titans (5-5)- 4:05, CBS: This is actually a big game in terms of who could still be alive in the playoff picture. The Jaguars are coming off a divisional road loss in Indianapolis against the Colts. The Titans are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they won at home over the Kansas City Chiefs. This is going to be an entertaining game unlike the last time these two teams met and I think that the Titans get it done at home this time around.
Prediction: Tennessee 26, Jacksonville 23.
Dallas Cowboys (6-4) vs New England Patriots (9-1)- 4:25, FOX: The Cowboys are coming off a road in win Detroit against the Lions. The Patriots are coming off a road win in Philadelphia against the Eagles. This is going to be a classic and entertaining game between these two big brand teams and I think that the Patriots find a way to win a close one thanks to a better performance by Tom Brady.
Prediction: New England 27, Dallas 24.
Green Bay Packers (8-2) vs San Francisco 49ers (9-1)- 8:20, NBC: The Packers are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they beat the Carolina Panthers at home in a snow game. The 49ers are coming off a crazy divisional home win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Niners have looked vulnerable over the past few weeks and I think Aaron Rodgers can light up the secondary similar to Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray the past few weeks and he'll lead the Pack to the top of the NFC overall standings.
Prediction: Green Bay 27, San Francisco 23.
Monday, November 25th
Baltimore Ravens (8-2) vs Los Angeles Rams (6-4)- 8:15, ESPN: The Ravens are coming off a huge statement home win over the Houston Texans. The Rams are coming off a Sunday night home win over the Chicago Bears. It's so tough to bet against MVP favorite Lamar Jackson and the Ravens right now so I'll keep it rolling as Jackson lights it up on National TV again against a Rams team that I think is overrated.
Prediction: Baltimore 37, LA Rams 30.

Saturday, November 23rd
(8) Penn State (8-1; 6-1) at (2) Ohio State (10-0; 7-0)- 12:00, FOX: This is a huge game with both ESPN's College GameDay and FOX's Big Noon shows on hand. I do think the Buckeyes are the better team, but despite injuries for the Nittany Lions, they'll hang around and keep this close.
Pick: Ohio State
Western Carolina (3-8; 2-6) at (5) Alabama (9-1; 6-1)- 12:00, ESPN

Pick: Iowa
(21) Oklahoma State (7-3, 4-3) at West Virginia (4-6; 2-5)- 12:00, ESPN2: This is a trap game for the Cowboys, who could very well be looking ahead to Bedlam next weekend. Mountaineers pull off the home upset.

Pick: Arkansas State
Texas A&M (7-3; 4-2) at (4) Georgia (9-1; 6-1)- 3:30, CBS: The Aggies have had the toughest schedule in the country and are a team that is capable of getting up for a game like this, but the pressure is on the Bulldogs to show the committee that they're the team people perceived them to be in the preseason.
Pick: Georgia
Texas (6-4; 4-3) at (14) Baylor (9-1; 6-1)- 3:30, FS1: The Bears blew a huge lead last week against the Sooners, so there is hangover potential. I do think the Bears bounce back here and win, but it's a close call.
Pick: Baylor

Pick: Southern Miss
Nebraska (4-6; 2-5) at Maryland (3-7; 1-6)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Maryland
East Tennessee State (3-8; 1-7) at Vanderbilt (2-8; 1-6)- 3:30, SECN

Pick: Wisconsin
(18) Memphis (9-1; 5-1) at South Florida (4-6; 3-4)- 4:00, ESPNU: This feels like a spot where the Tigers are right to be picked off and I think that the Bulls play some spoiler and help out the Group Of 5 mix and pull off the upset.

2019 NFL Week 11 Picks
Here are my picks for Week 11 of the 2019 NFL season.
Thursday, November 14th
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) vs Cleveland Browns (3-6)- 8:20, FOX/NFL: The Steelers are coming off a big home win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Browns are coming off a much needed home win over the Buffalo Bills. This will be a low scoring game between these division rivals, but what it comes down to for me is that I do not trust Mason Rudolph on the road in primetime. Give me the Browns to win their second in a row to perhaps save their coaches job for another week.
Prediction: Cleveland 20, Pittsburgh 16
Saturday, November 17th
Dallas Cowboys (5-4) at Detroit Lions (3-5-1)- 1:00, FOX: The Cowboys are coming off a disappointing Sunday Night home loss against the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions are coming off a divisional road loss in Chicago against the Bears. The Lions will be without Matthew Stafford due to his back injury and this opens up as a prime opportunity for the Cowboys to bounce back here and win.
Prediction: Dallas 31, Detroit 16
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-5) at Indianapolis Colts (5-4)- 1:00, CBS: The Jaguars are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they lost in London against the Houston Texans. The Colts are coming off an awful home loss against the Miami Dolphins. Jacoby Brissett is back at quarterback for the Colts this week as is Nick Foles for the Jaguars. I think the Colts at home will bounce back and get a big win.
Prediction: Indianapolis 21, Jacksonville 17
Buffalo Bills (6-3) at Miami Dolphins (2-7)- 1:00, CBS: The Bills are coming off a bad loss in Cleveland against the Browns. The Dolphins are coming off their second win in a row, this time in Indianapolis against the Colts. Guess what? I think the Dolphins will win their third in a row against a Bills team that is proving to be very overrated.
Prediction: Miami 24, Buffalo 20
Denver Broncos (4-5) at Minnesota Vikings (7-3)- 1:00, CBS: The Broncos are coming off a bye and two weeks ago, they won at home over the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings are coming off a great Sunday night road win in Arlington against the Cowboys. Adam Thielen is out for the Vikings again, but I don't think it will matter because Stefon Diggs among others will step up yet again as the Vikings continue to beat bad teams at home.
Prediction: Minnesota 27, Denver 13
New Orleans Saints (7-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-6)- 1:00, FOX: The Saints are coming off a dreadful divisional home loss against the Atlanta Falcons. The Buccaneers are coming off a home win over the Arizona Cardinals. This screams bounce back for the Saints and Drew Brees against a Bucs defense that is among the worst in the league.
Prediction: New Orleans 33, Tampa Bay 24
New York Jets (2-7) at Washington Redskins (1-8)- 1:00, FOX: The Jets are coming off a home win over the New York Giants. The Redskins are coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost in Orchard Park against the Bills. Dwayne Haskins is the permanent starter for the Skins and with Darrius Guice back in the fold, they'll get the win.
Prediction: Washington 24, NY Jets 23
Atlanta Falcons (2-7) at Carolina Panthers (5-4)- 1:00, FOX: The Falcons are coming off a good divisional road win in New Orleans against the Saints. The Panthers are coming off a tough road loss in Green Bay against the Packers in the snow. This is a great spot for Kyle Allen and the Panthers offense to get back on track against a Falcon defense that is not as good as it was last week.
Prediction: Carolina 34, Atlanta 20
Houston Texans (6-3) at Baltimore Ravens (7-2)- 1:00, CBS: This is certainly the best game of the early window and arguably of the entire week 11 slate. The Texans are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they beat their division rival Jacksonville Jaguars in London. The Ravens are coming off a divisional road win against the Cincinnati Bengals. DeShaun Watson vs Lamar Jackson is the main attraction here as both offenses will score at will, but this feels like last team with the ball wins and because of being at home, I think the Ravens take a close one.
Prediction: Baltimore 33, Houston 30
Arizona Cardinals (3-6-1) at San Francisco 49ers (8-1)- 4:05, FOX: The Cardinals are coming off a heartbreaking road loss in Tampa against the Buccaneers. The 49ers are also coming off a heartbreaking loss, except at home on Monday night against the division rival Seattle Seahawks. These teams faced off two weeks ago and the Cards hung in there tough, and I believe that will be the case again, but the Niners will get the win.
Prediction: San Francisco 30, Arizona 23
Cincinnati Bengals (0-9) at Oakland Raiders (5-4)- 4:25, CBS: The Bengals are coming off a disastrous divisional home loss against the Baltimore Ravens. The Raiders are coming off a Thursday night divisional home win over the Los Angeles Chargers. This screams Raiders blowout as Josh Jacobs and that offense will have a field day against a dreadful Bengals defense.
Prediction: Oakland 34, Cincinnati 17
New England Patriots (8-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (5-4)- 4:25, CBS: The Patriots are coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they suffered their first loss of the season in Baltimore against the Ravens on a Sunday night. The Eagles are coming off their bye too and two weeks ago they beat the Chicago Bears at home. Coming off a bye and a loss plus a Super Bowl rematch equals motivation for Tom Brady with revenge on his mind and I expect the Pats to win a fun game at the Linc.
Prediction: New England 24, Philadelphia 17
Chicago Bears (4-5) at Los Angeles Rams (5-4)- 8:20, NBC: Here we have a battle of disappointments for the NFC. The Bears are coming off a divisional home win over the Stafford-less Detroit Lions. The Rams are coming off a bad road loss in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. This game is going to be very ugly, but I think the difference in this game is Mitch Trubisky turnovers as the Rams get the home win.
Prediction: LA Rams 23, Chicago 16
Monday, November 18th
Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) vs Los Angeles Chargers (4-6)- 8:15, ESPN: This game is being played in Mexico City after last years Chiefs/Rams game had gotten moved from Mexico City to LA last season. The Chiefs are coming off a heartbreaking road loss in Nashville against the Titans. The Chargers are coming off a heartbreaking Thursday night divisional road loss in Oakland against the Raiders. I think this will be a fun game with a lot of points and I think the Chiefs take it.
Prediction: Kansas City 31, LA Chargers 27

The Dolphins are coming off their second win in a row, this time in Indianapolis against the Colts. Guess what? I think the Dolphins will win their third in a row against a Bills team that is proving to be very overrated.
