2021 NHL Mock Draft: First Edition

Here is my first edition of my 2021 NHL Draft.

1. Buffalo Sabres- Owen Power, Defenseman, Michigan (NCAA): Power is the consensus choice among experts and people around the league to go first overall. The Sabres here with the first overall pick for the second time in four years get another top pair defenseman  to go with Rasmus Dahlin for the future.

2. Seattle Kraken- Matthew Beniers, Center, Michigan (NCAA): The second overall pick here I have being yet another Michigan Wolverine product, this time the center in Beniers. He stood out in his first college season, being a point per game player and he is someone that is a good skater.

3. Anaheim Ducks- Dylan Guenther, Right Wing, Edmonton (WHL): The Ducks need some youth injected into their organization so they have a lot of choices here. Guenther was a points machine in the WHL and he has the ability to shoot from anywhere and that's what makes him dynamic.

4. New Jersey Devils- Brandt Clarke, Defenseman, Barrie (OHL): The Devils should go defense here due to the fact they do have some dynamic young forwards that already on the upswing. Clarke is somebody that is a great two-way player who is very careful with the way he plays.

5. Columbus Blue Jackets- Simon Edvinsson, Defenseman, Frolunda (SHL): This pick would make a ton of sense for the Blue Jackets, who might be targeting this position due to a possible departure of Seth Jones. Edvinsson's game is reminiscent of Jones's due to his mobility and ability to create chances for himself and teammates.

6. Detroit Red Wings- Jesper Wallstedt, Goaltender, Lulea (SWE): The Red Wings are in dire need of a goalie of the future and Wallstedt has potential to be one. He has the calmness and control to be a successful goalie in the league and he tracks pucks very well.

7. San Jose Sharks- William Eklund, Center, Djurgardens (SWE): The Sharks are a team that needs an injection of youth in the worst way. Eklund is somebody that has top-offensive skills, has shown some physicality, and does some of the little things that teams like.

8. Los Angeles Kings- Luke Hughes, Defenseman, USA-U18 (USHL): Getting Hughes at 8th overall would be a huge steal for the Kings. Many people have compared Hughes to his brother Quinn due to his skating ability and getting the puck in the right spots.

9. Vancouver Canucks- Kent Johnson, Center, Michigan (NCAA): The third Michigan player goes off the board here with Johnson, who would be a nice fit with the Canucks. He is a solid playmaker and has shown versatility as well as his puck carrying ability.

10. Ottawa Senators- Matthew Coronato, Right Wing, Chicago (USHL): The Senators here go with Coronato to add to their young forward collection. Coronato is somebody that is a dominant offensive force with the puck, has a physical approach, and is a strong skater.

11. Chicago Blackhawks- Carson Lambos, Defenseman, Winnipeg (WHL): The Blackhawks have options here with this selection and here I have them selecting Lambos. He is a two-way defenseman that has good patience in the defensive zone and in transition.

12. Calgary Flames- Fabian Lysell, Left Wing, Lulea (SWE): The Flames can go anywhere with this selection and here I have them selecting the talented forward in Lysell. He has shown good craft in his game and has great speed and skill as well.

13. Philadelphia Flyers- Mason McTravish, Center, Peterborough (OHL): The Flyers have a lot of promising youth in their organization and here I have them going with the center in McTravish. He has the feistiness that teams like and has shown strength in battles along the boards.

14. Dallas Stars- Corson Ceulemans, Defenseman, Brooks (AJHL): The Stars are a team that should be targeting defense in this round. Ceulemans is someone that is an outstanding skater who can lead rushes into offensive zones in transition and also has good mobility.

15. New York Rangers- Brennan Othmann, Left Wing, Flint (OHL): The Rangers have one of the most promising young group of talent in the entire league and they add another young gun in Othmann. He is a two-way player that has a lot of physicality in his game and this is what the young Rangers can use.

16. St. Louis Blues- Isak Rosen, Left Wing/Right Wing, Leksands (SHL): The Blues are a team that needs some scoring with David Perron being a free agent and Vladimir Tarasenko having shoulder issues. Rosen lacks the size, but is an offensive force.

17. Nashville Predators- Cole Sillinger, Center, Sioux Falls (USHL): The Predators are a team that could use some young blood and here I have them picking Sillinger. He has a strong offensive presence and has strong playmaking abilities.

18. Edmonton Oilers- Sebastian Cossa, Goaltender, Edmonton (WHL): Goaltending has been a major long-term issue for the Oilers for sometime now and here I have them taking the in-town kid in Cossa. He has excellent size and athleticism to be a starting goalie in the league.

19. Minnesota Wild- Simon Robertsson, Right Wing, Skellefta (J20): The Wild are coming off a successful season and I have them adding a nice and talented wing in Robertsson. He is someone that is capable of being in a top six and has excellent vision for the game.

20. Columbus Blue Jackets (from Toronto Maple Leafs)- Aatu Raty, Center, Karpat (Liiga): Karpat was someone that a while ago was thought out to be in play for the number one overall pick, but his stock plummeted due to underperforming this past season. Raty has promising offensive abilities and is a good skater.

21. Detroit Red Wings (from Washington Capitals)- Sasha Pastujov, Left Wing, USNTDP (USHL): With their second first rounder, the Red Wings take the winger in Pastujov. He is one of the most patient players in the class, with an ability to show up clutch in games.

22. Minnesota Wild (from Pittsburgh Penguins)- Daniil Chayka, Defenseman, Guelph (OHL): With their second first rounder, the Wild get more defense depth for their organization with Chayka. He is a reliable, two-way defender with a long reach.

23. Florida Panthers- Xavier Bourgault, Center, Shawinigan (QMJHL): The Panthers have some choices here and this mock I have them taking the talented center in Bourgault. He is an offensive presence that is fearless in his drive to the high-danger areas.

24. Winnipeg Jets- Carson Lambos, Defenseman, Winnipeg (WHL): The Jets go with the in-city kid here with Lambos with their selection. Due to a leg injury, his stock plummeted so if he gets back to that level or close, this pick could be a steal.

25. Boston Bruins- Zachary L'Heureux, Center/Left Wing, Halifax (QMJHL): The Bruins have choices here and this pick I have them taking L'Heureux. He has high-end offensive skill in his finishing ability and has a knack for getting under an opponent’s skin.

26. Carolina Hurricanes- Logan Stankoven, Center/Right Wing, Kamloops (WHL): The Hurricanes are just picking for value and depth at this point as they pose on the leagues best rosters. One of the most competitive players in the class, Stankoven plays hard every shift and makes up for his size with great skating ability and an excellent shot.

27. Colorado Avalanche- Oskar Olausson, Right Wing, HV71 (SHL): The Avalanche are coming off a disappointing playoff series loss against the Vegas Golden Knights and they can use some more depth. Olausson is a confident player that has some speed in his game, both in his feet and hands.

28. Montreal Canadiens- Chaz Lucius, Center, USNTDP (USHL): The Canadiens are in the midst of a magical run to the Stanley Cup Semifinals, but this team still needs help. Lucius has the ability to get to the high-danger areas is impressive, and his shot is high-end.

29. New Jersey Devils (from New York Islanders)- Zachary Bolduc, Center, Rimouski (QMJHL): The Devils go offense with their second first rounder as they go with Bolduc. He has the speed and "hockey smarts" that would have teams excited.

30. Columbus Blue Jackets (from Tampa Bay Lightning)- Samu Tuomaala, Right Wing, Karpat (Liiga): With their third first rounder, the Jackets go with Tuomaala. He brings a ton of energy that the fans always enjoy and is a fast player.

31. Vegas Golden Knights- Benjamin Gaudreau, Goaltender, Sarnia (OHL): The Golden Knights here go with the possible heir-apparent to Marc-Andre Fleury with Gaudreau. He played at an advanced level in the U18 worlds leading the Canadian team to the gold metal and that shows that he could be a quality starter in the league.

2021 NBA Mock Draft: First Edition

Here is my first edition of my 2021 NBA Mock Draft.

1. Houston Rockets- Cade Cunningham, Point Guard, Oklahoma State: Although it's not a guarantee that the Rockets will be picking first overall, but Cunningham would be the guy for the Rockets if they were to pick first. Cunningham's playmaking is something that should translate into the NBA and he has the "it factor" teams look for in players.

2. Detroit Pistons- Evan Mobley, Center, USC: Mobley was outstanding this past season for the Trojans and had some folks talking about whether he should be considered to go first over Cunningham. The Pistons have needs everywhere on their roster and Mobley has great size and is great around the rim as well.

3. Orlando Magic- Jalen Suggs, Point Guard, Gonzaga: The Magic are heading for a full rebuild here and they would be lucky if they were to land in the top three in the lottery and really could use that. Suggs will forever be known for the big shot against UCLA, but outside of that he's notorious for great decision making and has great poise.

4. Oklahoma City Thunder- Jalen Green, Shooting Guard, G-League/USA: The Thunder are still in a long-term rebuild and here I have them taking Green, but it also brings an interesting scenario since they already have Shae Gilgeous-Alexander. Green is an elite scorer and has good playmaking abilities as well.

5. Cleveland Cavaliers- Jordan Kuminga, Small Forward, G-League/Congo: The Cavaliers need help on the wing and Kuminga would be a solid choice. Despite being oversized for a wing, he is someone that put up solid numbers in the G-league, despite not having a great shot.

6. Golden State Warriors (from Minnesota Timberwolves)- Scottie Barnes, Small Forward, Florida State: Courtesy of the D'Angelo Russell trade, there's a good chance the Warriors end up with another lottery pick. Barnes is somebody that would be a good fit for the Warriors and has good defensive abilities although he does not shoot the ball very well.

7. Toronto Raptors- Davion Mitchell, Point Guard, Baylor: The Raptors have not been in the lottery in eight years and here I have them selecting Mitchell, the brother of Donovan. Kyle Lowry may depart as a free agent so it would makes sense for them to go with a point guard that could be their point guard of the future, who is a great defender, passer, and can shoot open shots.

8. Orlando Magic (from Chicago Bulls)- Isaiah Jackson, Power Forward, Kentucky: Courtesy of the Nikola Vusevic trade, the Magic get another pick in the lottery and this one they go with Jackson. He is a great athlete with some good abilities on the defensive side of the floor and he and Jalen Suggs would be a nice duo to come away with if that would be the case.

9. Sacramento Kings- Moses Moody, Shooting Guard, Arkansas: This pick would be interesting due to the fact that the Kings already have a crowded backcourt to begin with. Moody's perimeter defense is outstanding and has a nice mid range jumper as well.

10. New Orleans Pelicans- Corey Kispert, Shooting Guard, Gonzaga: The Pelicans should look more at guard options than forward/big options due to their current roster construction. Kispert is somebody that could develop into a solid three-and-D wing that this team currently lacks.

11. Charlotte Hornets- Kai Jones, Power Forward/Center, Texas: The Hornets biggest need lies in the middle and they should prioritize the big men situation this offseason. Jones is somebody that is capable of elite shot blocking and can space the floor well, which fits what the Hornets are looking for.

12. San Antonio Spurs- James Bouknight, Shooting Guard, Connecticut: Bouknight falling this far some may consider a steal. Bouknight screams a classic Spurs guy, who can score in a variety of ways and could end up adding more to his game as well sans the team being loaded with guards.

13. Indiana Pacers- Franz Wagner, Small Forward, Michigan: The Pacers have a lot of talent on their roster and someone like Wagner would only make this team deeper. Wagner is another classic 3-and-D player and would give the Pacers another dimension with their second unit.

14. Golden State Warriors- Jalen Johnson, Small Forward, Duke: Johnson is someone that really didn't pan out as the player the Blue Devils hoped he would be, but maybe he will find it in the pro's. Johnson is a solid passer and has a good frame and teams are seriously banking on potential here.

15. Washington Wizards- Josh Giddey, Shooting Guard/Small Forward, Australia: Giddey to me is a huge wild card in this draft due to playing overseas. Giddey is a great play maker, passer, and has excellent court vision, but his defense is not very good.

16. Boston Celtics- Jaden Springer, Point Guard, Tennessee: The Celtics are a team that has not hit on draft picks recently (outside of Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown). Springer is an excellent shooter and is capable of being a starting point guard and this pick would make sense if the team were to move on from Kemba Walker.

17. Memphis Grizzlies- Jared Butler, Point Guard, Baylor: The Grizzlies go with Butler here to be their backup point guard and to give them Ja Morant insurance. Butler can shoot the ball very well and developed a passing game as well.

18. Oklahoma City Thunder (from Miami Heat)- Alperen Sengun, Center, Besiktas: The Thunder lack young bigs with potential and they get one here with Sengun. He provides a little bit of an old school game with double-double potential and also can protect the rim.

19. New York Knicks- Usman Garuba, Center, Real Madrid: This pick would make sense for the up-and-coming Knicks as they may have a need for a backup big depending on free agency. Garuba has a big wing span and he excels defensively and provides a ton of energy.

20. Atlanta Hawks- Chris Durate, Shooting Guard/Small Forward, Oregon: This would be the classic Hawks pick- a three-and-D player that is versatile and if he were younger, he'd be picked sooner. Durate can score at all three levels and can defend multiple positions as well.

21. New York Knicks (from Dallas Mavericks)- Tre Mann, Point Guard, Florida: Courtesy of the Kristaps Porzingis trade, the Knicks have an extra first round pick. Mann would be an interesting pick here and he can play both on and off the ball and can shoot it from three.

22. Los Angeles Lakers- Ziaire Williams, Small Forward, Stanford: The Lakers are a team you can make a case has to nail this selection. Williams is somebody that really didn't live up to hype in college, but has defensive upside and is a solid athlete. Williams also played with LeBron's son Bronny so that's a fun subplot here.

23. Houston Rockets (from Portland Trail Blazers)- Josh Christopher, Shooting Guard, Arizona State: The Rockets have a second first rounder courtesy of the Robert Covington trade. Christopher had a great Freshman season on the underachieving Sun Devils and showed an ability to get to the basket a lot.

24. Houston Rockets (from Milwaukee Bucks)- Greg Brown, Power Forward, Texas: The Rockets with their third first rounder go with an upside play with Brown. He wasn't consistent with the Longhorns, but is long and athletic and could learn from current Rocket Christian Wood.

25. Los Angeles Clippers- Johnny Juzang, Shooting Guard, UCLA: Juzang gets to stay home as he goes to the Clippers in my first mock. Juzang helped the Bruins in their surprising run to the Final Four a season ago and he's shown playmaking ability as well as length on defense.

26. Denver Nuggets- Cameron Thomas, Shooting Guard, LSU: The Nuggets need guard depth with Jamal Murray slated to miss the start of next season as he recovers from his torn ACL. Thomas is a basket maker, despite being raw in terms of his outside shot.

27. Brooklyn Nets- Ayo Dosumnu, Shooting Guard, Illinois: This would be a fabulous selection for the contending Nets, who can use some depth on their bench. Dosumnu facilitated in all ways of the game and would be a solid backup for Kyrie Irving.

28. Philadelphia 76ers- Sharife Cooper, Point Guard, Auburn: Cooper is a really good player, but I'm not sure if the 76ers are the team for him due to them being somewhat guard heavy from a bench standpoint. Cooper is outstanding at creating shots not just for himself, but for his teammates.

29. Phoenix Suns- Joel Ayayi, Shooting Guard, Gonzaga: The Suns are pretty much deep all over their roster so the point here is to get a good depth piece. Ayayi was an unsung hero on Gonzaga's near perfect season run and has good length and shooting ability.

30. Utah Jazz- Charles Bassey, Center, Western Kentucky: Bassey is somebody that was not always given the attention due to where he played and the fact he was injured his Sophomore season before dominating as a Junior. He is an outstanding defender in the middle and does a lot to impact the game.

2021 MLB Mock Draft: First Edition

Here is the first edition of my 2021 MLB Mock Draft. The draft will be held the during All-Star Week.

1. Pittsburgh Pirates- Jordan Lawler, RHP/SS, Jesuit Prep HS (TX)- The Pirates have some options here with this selection and here I have them taking the two-way talent in Lawler, who is likely to be drafted as a shortstop. His bat and shortstop play has folks comparing him to Carlos Correa, but his game isn't perfect, but he does just about everything right.

2. Texas Rangers- Marcelo Mayer, SS, Eastlake HS (CA)- This would be a great pick for the Rangers considering that they have a need for infielders in their system and the fact Mayer is in play to go first. Mayer, like Lawler, does everything right, but nothing really elite, although there is raw power he provides.

3. Detroit Tigers- Kumar Rocker, RHP, Vanderbilt: The Tigers have a ton of options here, and here I have them going with a talented pitcher in Rocker. He was drafted a few years ago out of high school, but decided to go to college and that decision surely paid off as he's slated to go at the top of the first round.

4. Boston Red Sox- Jack Leiter, RHP, Vanderbilt: One pick later, Vanderbilt has another talented pitcher drafted, this time being Jack Leiter, the son of former MLB pitcher Al. You can make a case that Leiter is the better of the two Vandy pitchers and has a shot to go first in this draft.

5. Baltimore Orioles- Brady House, SS/3B, Winder-Barrow HS (GA): The O's go with a talented left infielder here with House. He has a fabulous arm as folks have compared him to the likes of Nolan Arenado and Josh Donaldson and some feel is a star in the making.

6. Arizona Diamondbacks- Henry Davis, Catcher, Louisville: The first college position player off the board is here with Davis, who really took his game a whole other level this past season. The Diamondbacks are a team that could be heading for a rebuild and snagging a potential franchise catcher here.

7. Kansas City Royals- Khalil Watson, SS, Wake Forest HS (NC): The Royals are a team that is in good shape in terms of young shortstops in their organization. Watson is somebody that is a great hitter with a ton of power and has a chance to go higher than this.

8. Colorado Rockies- Jackson Jobe, RHP, Heritage Hall HS (OK): Jobe is someone that went from showing flashes to becoming the best prep pitcher in this draft class. The Rockies should prioritize pitching in this draft due to a lack of pitching in the farm system and Jobe would be a nice fit.

9. Los Angeles Angels- Benny Montgomery, OF, Red Land HS (PA): The Angels are a team that likes to go with college players or safe bets, but here I have them going in a different direction with Montgomery. I can see the Angels talking themselves into going in this direction and adding him to a system full of outfielders.

10. New York Mets- Sal Frelick, Outfielder, Boston College: This would be a solid pick for the Mets as they lack college position players in their farm system. Frelick is somebody who has a ton of pop, but is short. Would this make up for trading away Jarred Kelenic? Probably not, but Frelick certainly is a great talent.

11. Washington Nationals- Ty Madden, RHP, Texas: The Nationals have some options here with this pick and here I have them going with a college arm in Madden. Max Scherzer is a free agent at the end of the season (or they could trade him) and Stephen Strasburg is always injured so this pick makes sense from a future standpoint.

12. Seattle Mariners- Matt McLain, SS, UCLA: This would be a solid pick by the Mariners, who could use a player like McLain in their farm system. McLain has a solid bat and has some speed, but does not hit for much power, similar to the Angels's David Fletcher.

13. Philadelphia Phillies- Colton Cowser, Outfielder, Sam Houston: Cowser is somebody who has really nice potential and would be a nice fit with the Phillies, who could use college bats. Cowser has a nice lefty swing, but no one is sure what outfield spot he'll turn out to be.

14. San Francisco Giants- Jordan Wicks, LHP, Kansas State: I really would like this pick for the Giants, who lack college arms in their system and a lot of their current rotation arms are older. Wicks has a solid pitch selection, throws for solid speeds, and is an innings eater.

15. Milwaukee Brewers- Gunnar Hogland, RHP, Ole Miss: This would be a nice pick for the Brew Crew here. Hogland recently had Tommy John surgery and if it weren't for that, he would have had a quick path to the majors and would have certainly gone higher in this draft.

16. Miami Marlins- Joshua Baez, Outfielder, Dexter Southfield HS (MA): The Marlins are a team that is not afraid to take prep bats and here I have them going with another one in Baez. High risks, high reward picks don't always play out, but his tools and makeup is what can make it work.

17. Cincinnati Reds- Jud Fabian, Outfielder, Florida: Fabian is somebody that has been considered a top fifteen guy in the draft, but his stock has fallen due to striking out a ton. The case for him going higher is his ability to hit all fields and his maturity at the plate.

18. St. Louis Cardinals- Bubba Chandler, RHP/SS, North Ocenee HS (GA): The Cardinals are supposedly looking at pitching for this pick and here they take a two-way talent in Chandler. There is some uncertainty whether Chandler is better off as a shortstop or a pitcher, but Shohei Ohtani is proving that it's conceivable to do both.

19. Toronto Blue Jays- Gavin Williams, RHP, East Carolina: The Blue Jays have some choices here and this first mock draft I chose Williams for them. His stock has risen due to his improvements of his control and his quality of the breaking ball, but health issues could cause a drop.

20. New York Yankees- Harry Ford, C, North Cobb (GA): What makes me skeptical about this being the selection is that the Yankees have a ton of catchers in their farm system as is. Ford is someone that has great bat speed and is a superb athlete to the point that he could go higher than this.

21. Chicago Cubs- Sam Bachman, RHP, Miami (OH): The Cubs system lacks college arms and Bachman would be a nice pick here. He is someone that could fly through the minors and could end up in the big leagues sooner rather than later and if it doesn't work out as a starter, he could be an elite reliever.

22. Chicago Whtie Sox- Andrew Painter, RHP, Calvary Christina HS (FL): Painter is somebody that many are struggling to place in mocks whether it's in the low teens or low twenties. He is one of the better athletes in terms of pitchers in this draft and he could be a boom or bust prospect.

23. Cleveland Indians- Michael McGreevy, RHP, UC Santa Barbara: The Indians have some choices here and the first mock here I have them going with a talented college arm in McGreevy. He is someone that really broke through this past season due to his stuff and pitchability.

24. Atlanta Braves- Chase Petty, RHP, Mainland Regional HS (NJ): The Braves are a team that loves taking prep players and here the trend continues. Petty has three pitches that are great and has potential to reach triple digit with his pitches. He would make for a tremendous possible closer down the road.

25. Oakland Athletics- Ryan Cusick, RHP, Wake Forest: The Athletics love to take college players and here I have them going with a college pitcher in Cusick. This is a high risk pick due to some inconsistencies, but can occasionally hit triple digits when he pitches.

26. Minnesota Twins- Joe Mack, C, Williamsville East HS (NY): This is my favorite name of the draft, but as we know that means zero when it comes to projecting and analyzing. Mack is somebody that is a great two-way catcher, but there is a chance he doesn't sign if he's not picked in the first round. Some people have compared Mack to Joe Mauer.

27. San Diego Padres- Frank Mozzicato, RHP, East Catholic HS (CT): The Padres are pretty much stacked in their farm system sans graduating some big names recently and being a contender now. Mozzicato is somebody with an interesting arsenal and has different speeds for his pitches.

28. Tampa Bay Rays- Tommy Mace, RHP, Florida: Like the Padres, the Rays are another team that is stacked in their farm system with some talent graduated (or traded away). Mace is somebody that has a high floor and I think was overlooked in college due to other talented SEC arms.

29. Los Angeles Dodgers- James Wood, OF, IMG Academy (FL): There are a ton of ways the Dodgers can go here and the Dodgers are a team that it would not surprise anyone which direction they went. Wood is somebody that has super raw power and this would be a good fit organizational wise because they tend to teach their players well in the minors.

2021 NFL Mock Draft: Final Edition

Here is my final edition of my 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Trevor Lawrence, Quarterback, Clemson: This is about as a slam dunk of a draft pick that there has been since perhaps Andrew Luck going first overall in 2012. It may take some time, but there's a chance that Lawrence and Urban Meyer can make the Jaguars a formidable franchise for the next decade and a half.

2. New York Jets- Zach Wilson, Quarterback, BYU: This selection has felt like a lock for a few months now after six months ago many people thought this was going to be Justin Fields. Wilson, coming off a breakout season in college would really fit fell in new offensive coordinator Mike LeFleur's offense with his tremendous arm talent.

3. San Francisco 49ers (from Houston Texans via Miami Dolphins)- Justin Fields, Quarterback, Ohio State: This selection makes all the sense in the world. Speculation although is drawing attention toward Mac Jones and Trey Lance, which the former had a better 2020 season than Fields and the latter saw one game in 2020, but neither have the upside of Fields. His arm talent and accuracy is what should make him get drafted this high.

4. Atlanta Falcons- Kyle Pitts, Tight End, Florida: The Falcons are absolutely a prime trade down candidate with teams trying to move up to select a quarterback or another position of need. Lets say they keep the selection and they use it on Pitts, who would be the pick if the Falcons are trying to extend Matt Ryan's prime as Pitts is perhaps the best tight end prospect since Rob Gronkowski.

5. Cincinnati Bengals- JaMarr Chase, Wide Receiver, LSU: The Bengals have two choices here between offensive tackle Penei Sewell and Chase. You can make a case this is too good to pass up because of Chase's upside and the fact that this reunites him with Joe Burrow, which gives Burrow a slam dunk top weapon that he lacked in his shortened rookie season.

6. Miami Dolphins (from Philadelphia Eagles)- Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver, Alabama: The hot rumor at the moment is that the Dolphins prefer Waddle over JaMarr Chase, which seems pretty wild, but at the same time not really due to the fact Chase opted out last season. Despite being injured last season, Waddle showed so much electricity in his game with his speed and ability to get open as this selection reunites Waddle with Tua Tagovailoa.

7. Detroit Lions- Penei Sewell, Offensive Tackle, Oregon: The Lions are an obvious trade down candidate due to the fact that they are enduring a rebuild. If they stay put, take the best player available which is Sewell at this point. The Lions need some protection for Jared Goff and whomever could be their long term guy a few years down the road so this would be the logical pick, despite other needs.

8. Carolina Panthers- Patrick Surtain II, Cornerback, Alabama: It's going to be very interesting to see where the Panthers go with this selection and it would not surprise me if they also trade down. Surtain would be a nice fit here as cornerback is a position of need, although a tackle would not surprise me either.

9. Denver Broncos- Jaycee Horn, Cornerback, South Carolina: With the acquisition of Teddy Bridgewater, people will assume that a quarterback here is out of the question. Despite me slotting Horn here, I do think a quarterback is in play here. Horn is someone that has serious potential and he did a great job against SEC competition in his collegiate career.

10. Dallas Cowboys- Rashawn Slater, Offensive Tackle, Northwestern: This is really a curve ball of a selection as everyone thought a cornerback was going to be it at this spot, well really Patrick Sutain II. The Cowboys offensive line is not what it once was the last five years as Tyron Smith is aging and Slater could be the long term replacement down the road here.

11. New York Giants- DeVonta Smith, Wide Receiver, Alabama: The Giants goal this offseason is to provide Daniel Jones all the help in the world to succeed. They complete that goal by taking Smith, who's an all world talent and he and Kenny Golladay instantly become one of the best receiving duos in the entire league and this selection also prevents the division rival Eagles from taking the reigning Heisman winner.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (from San Francisco 49ers via Miami Dolphins)- Kwity Paye, Defensive End, Michigan: With all the top receivers off the board, the Eagles take the edge rusher in Paye. This pick would make sense because Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox aren't getting any younger and the Eagles are a team that likes to roll seven deep in their front seven.

13. Los Angeles Chargers- Christian Darrisaw, Offensive Tackle, Virginia Tech: The Chargers are a team that is closer to contention than folks think. Here I have them taking the talented lineman in Darrisaw, who would provide great protection for Justin Herbert and has the tools to be a Pro Bowl tackle.

14. Minnesota Vikings- Alijah Vera-Tucker, Guard, USC: For the longest time, I've been mocking defensive lineman to this spot. Momentum is changing as the draft approaches and here I have them taking the talented offensive lineman in Vera-Tucker. His versatility is what is making his draft stock rise this high.

15. New England Patriots- Mac Jones, Quarterback, Alabama: This pick would make a ton of sense with Cam Newton on a one year deal and the connection that Bill Belichick and Nick Saban have. What concerns me about Jones is whether last season was who he really is or is he a product of the great talent around him in college. It would not shock me if the Pats moved up for a quarterback or stayed put here and took a different position on either side of the ball.

16. Arizona Cardinals- Greg Newsome, Cornerback, Northwestern: Newsome is somebody thats stock is rising with the draft coming up on Thursday. With the loss of Patrick Peterson, this pick would make a lot of sense as Newsome would come in and replace him with his great overall skill set.

17. Las Vegas Raiders- Jamin Davis, Linebacker, Kentucky: Every year, it seems like the Raiders over draft players in the first round and there is a case to be made that it could be Davis. He is somebody who's very talented and stock is rising because of it as well as his athleticism and speed which can cause havoc.

18. Miami Dolphins- Micah Parsons, Linebacker, Penn State: This would be a fantastic pick by the Dolphins, who need a lot of help on the defensive side of the ball sans adding a lot of pieces in free agency a year ago. Parsons would become the quarterback of that defense with his ability to rush the passer as well.

19. Washington Football Team- Elijah Moore, Wide Receiver, Ole Miss: Washington is a team that can go in a number of directions. Moore is someone getting last minute hype as a potential first round pick. Washington needs someone else other than Terry McLaurin that could make big plays down the field.

20. Chicago Bears- Trey Lance, Quarterback, North Dakota State: I don't project trades in mock drafts and with this mock I have Lance dropping this far to the point the Bears cannot simply pass up. Andy Dalton is not the long term answer and Lance would be interesting as he can sit behind Dalton for a season and learn under him and then take over eventually.

21. Indianapolis Colts- Tevin Jenkins, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State: This would be a logical pick for the Colts, who need a tackle with Anthony Costanzo retiring. Jenkins is somebody who's stock is rising with the draft coming up in two days due to his clean footwork and knows what to do in space.

22. Tennessee Titans- Rashod Bateman, Wide Receiver, Minnesota: The Titans over the past few mocks I've done have been given a pass rusher. A wide receiver here makes a lot of sense too with the loss of Corey Davis that they must replace. Bateman is someone that can play om the outside or in slot so he and AJ Brown can work together well.

23. New York Jets (from Seattle Seahawks)- Caleb Farley, Cornerback, Virginia Tech: This would be a steal for the Jets as Farley is somebody that was being mocked as a top ten pick not long ago. Farley's injury issues and the fact he opted out last season is what causing his fall down boards.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Najee Harris, Running Back, Alabama: Another hot rumor as the draft is nine days away is that the Steelers are eyeing a running back with their first round pick as they are trying for one last hurrah with Ben Rothlisberger. Harris is someone that is a three down back and would be an upgrade over the departed James Conner.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars (from Los Angeles Rams)- Jalean Phillips, Defensive End, Miami: The Jaguars can go in a numerous number of directions here, but here I have them taking the talented edge rusher in Phillips. This pick will ultimately look like a hit or a miss based on whether he remains on the field or not and his health is what have some teams weary.

26. Cleveland Browns- Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Linebacker, Notre Dame: This would be a nice fit for the Browns as they go with a position of need. Owusu-Koramoah is somebody that can play three downs and provides versatility and is super athletic.

27. Baltimore Ravens- Jayson Oweh, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Penn State: The Ravens have some options here with this selection. Oweh makes a lot of sense here as they need to replace Yannick Ngakoue and Matt Judon on their pass rush. Oweh was overshadowed on James Franklin's defense due to the presence of Micah Parsons as he was a great player as well.

28. New Orleans Saints- Zaven Collins, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Tulsa: Collins is someone thats getting a lot of love at the back end of the first round as the draft approaches. Collins would provide the Saints solid versatility and rushes the passer very well.

29. Green Bay Packers- Landon Dickerson, Center, Alabama: This would be somewhat of a curveball as many expect teammate Alex Leatherwood to go in the late first-early second. Dickerson is getting some first round buzz despite health concerns as he is someone that can start right away and in this scenario, he can start at center and Elgton Jenkins can play guard.

30. Buffalo Bills- Rondale Moore, Wide Receiver, Purdue: Moore is somebody I felt was overshadowed in this draft class due to the presence of the Big Three receivers taken earlier in the draft. Moore is somebody that is physical and would really be a nice long term piece for Josh Allen.

31. Baltimore Ravens (from Kansas City Chiefs)- Samuel Cosmi, Offensive Tackle, Texas: With the pick they received from the Chiefs in the Orlando Brown trade, they replace Brown with Cosmi. I look at Cosmi as a second round pick, but I understand this selection due to his need and plus he has potential to be a longtime starter in the league.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Trevon Moehrig, Safety, TCU: The Buccaneers really don't have any needs in particular, so the could very well go with whom they feel is the best player available. Moehrig is someone that I felt was overshadowed due to playing in the Big-12, but he really has shown explosiveness from the position and he could potentially be an upgrade over starter Jordan Whitehead.

2021 NFL Mock Draft: Eighth Edition

Here is my eighth edition of my 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

3. San Francisco 49ers- Mac Jones, Quarterback, Alabama: Jones, Justin Fields, and Trey Lance will be the talk of the town regarding this pick. This time I'm rolling with Jones with this selection as speculation continues on which quarterback the Niners will take here. There are some out there that feel that Jones was a product of the great talent around him in college and others that believe his Senior season was no fluke.

5. Cincinnati Bengals- Penei Sewell, Offensive Tackle, Oregon: This should absolutely be the pick for the Bengals if they stay at five, although selecting Joe Burrow's former teammate JaMarr Chase would entice the team. Protection for Burrow is needed after the offensive line failed him last season, which resulted in the ACL injury that ended Burrow's promising rookie season.

6. Miami Dolphins (from Philadelphia Eagles)- JaMarr Chase, Wide Receiver, LSU: The Dolphins coming away with Chase or Kyle Pitts would be a major win for the team, especially Tua Tagovaiola. Chase is someone who opted out a season ago, which some think may hurt his draft stock, but the talent and upside is really at a high level which will be hard for the Dolphins and other teams to pass up on.

7. Detroit Lions- Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver, Alabama: This would be an interesting decision for the Lions whether to stay at seven and take the player of their choice or they trade down and gain assets, which is what they should do. If they do the former and stay put, Waddle would be a solid choice due to the Lions lack of weapons on offense as he would provide some electric play with his great route running and speed.

8. Carolina Panthers- Rashawn Slater, Offensive Tackle, Northwestern: The Panthers have options with this selection and although some mocks have them addressing their cornerback situation, they should focus this selection to help Sam Darnold succeed. Slater is somebody that would immediately make the Panthers offensive line better due to his versatility.

9. Denver Broncos- Justin Fields, Quarterback, Ohio State: John Elway would be ecstatic if Fields fell down to his lap. He is someone who was seen as a lock to go second overall in the fall, but his stock dropped due to inconsistencies during a shortened Big-10 season. If Fields were to land here, the Broncos would join the Chiefs and Chargers for division supremacy for years to come.

10. Dallas Cowboys- Patrick Sutain II, Cornerback, Alabama: The Cowboys have been linked to Sutain for quite a while now due to their dire need at the position. Sutain is somebody that has been battle tested a lot in college and has the physicality and ball skills to be successful as they finally replace Byron Jones.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (from San Francisco 49ers via Miami Dolphins)- Jaycee Horn, Cornerback, South Carolina: With the big three receivers off the board, Eagles take another position of need in cornerback. Horn is somebody is that really has shown ability to play well against elite competition being in the SEC and he's someone that could really help them against the talented NFC East receivers.

14. Minnesota Vikings- Kwity Paye, Defensive End, Michigan: The Vikings have a choice here and most people believe they'll go with a lineman, but the question is what side of the ball? Here I have them going with the talented pass rusher in Paye, who really would give the Vikings insurance incase they lose Danielle Hunter in the future with his status up in the air.

15. New England Patriots- Trey Lance, Quarterback, North Dakota State: The Patriots should not take a quarterback with this pick, unless they make a bold move and move up for Justin Fields due to the fact that their offseason moves indicate that they want to return to Super Bowl contender status. Lance to the Pats has been a popular take of late and if anyone could help develop Lance into his potential not many saw, it's Bill Belichick.

16. Arizona Cardinals- Alijah Vera-Tucker, Offensive Tackle, USC: This would be a solid choice for the Cardinals, who can use some offensive line help to protect Kyler Murray. With the recent retirement of Marcus Gilbert, Vera-Tucker can come in and replace him with his versatility.

17. Las Vegas Raiders- Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Linebacker, Notre Dame: This would be a solid selection for Jon Gruden and Company as they select a position of need pick with Owusu-Koramoah. He will provide exactly what new defensive coordinator Gus Bradley would like- speed, athleticism, and cover ability.

18. Miami Dolphins- Najee Harris, Running Back, Alabama: The Dolphins should go defense and address the pass rush with this selection, if not trade down. I don't love Harris being picked this high, but the match isn't a bad one. The Dolphins running backs weren't great last season and Harris has the ability to find holes through offensive lines and he would reunite with Tua Tagovailoa in this scenario.

19. Washington Football Team- Micah Parsons, Outside Linebacker, Penn State: This would be a major steal for Washington as they make a solid pass rush unit even better. Parsons's character issues is what has teams weary and it could cause him to drop in this draft.

20. Chicago Bears- Caleb Farley, Cornerback, Virginia Tech: This would be a solid pick for the Bears, who have options here with this pick as they can pick whatever hole on their roster they have. Farley opted out last season and that combined with the back surgery he had makes this a risky pick, which could be a great pick if he is healthy and produces up to capability.

22. Tennessee Titans- Azeez Ojulari, Defensive End, Georgia: This would be a solid pick for the Titans, who need help on their pass rush. New addition Bud Dupree cannot do it alone and Ojulari is someone who got better every year in college and is someone that is versatile.

23. New York Jets (from Seattle Seahawks)- Trevon Moehrig, Safety, TCU: The Jets have a lot of holes on their roster and they can go anywhere with this pick. Moehrig is somebody that I felt was overshadowed due to playing in the Big-12 and he and Marcus Maye would be a nice duo.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Jayson Oweh, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Penn State: The Steelers have some options here with this pick and here I have them snagging the in state talent in Oweh. He provides versatility that the team lacks and would help replace the free agent loss of Bud Dupree.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars- Wyatt Davis, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State: Davis here at 25 would be a major reach and there are better offensive lineman available in theory of this mock draft. Davis is somebody that obviously has ties to Urban Meyer with Ohio State which would make this match possible.

26. Cleveland Browns- Christian Barmore, Defensive Tackle, Alabama: The Browns are a team that don't have that many holes on their roster. Barmore is somebody that would bolster their interior of their defensive line and help Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney get their sacks.

27. Baltimore Ravens- Jalean Phillips, Defensive End, Miami: This would be a solid pick for the Ravens, depending on whether Phillips remains on the field or not. Pass rush is a need for the Ravens with the departures of Yannick Ngakoue and Matt Judon, which makes this pick realistic.

28. New Orleans Saints- Greg Newsome, Cornerback, Northwestern: Newsome you can make a case would be a steal at this point considering people are projecting Newsome to go in the mod to high teens-low twenties. His overall skill set is what will make teams excited.

29. Green Bay Packers- Rondale Moore, Wide Receiver, Purdue: The Packers finally get Aaron Rodgers a weapon as a first round pick! Moore is someone I feel that is super underrated heading into the draft due to his inconsistencies, but he does "check all the boxes" in terms of what teams look for in drafting players.

30. Buffalo Bills- Asante Samuel Jr, Cornerback, Florida State: The Bills to me are a trade down candidate due to their lack of needs and teams in the top of the second round potentially trading back into the end of the first. Samuel Jr is someone who I feel is underrated and him and Tre White is a nice duo.

31. Baltimore Ravens (from Kansas City Chiefs)- Alex Weatherwood, Offensive Tackle/Guard, Alabama: With the trading of Orlando Brown, they replace him with here with the pick they acquired in the trade with the Chiefs. Weatherwood is a plug and play guy as he's versatile and you can make a case he should go higher than this.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Gregory Rousseau, Defensive End, Miami: Six months ago, folks looked at Rousseau as a top ten pick lock and boy has he fallen. The Bucs brought the band back together to get the best quarterback of all time his eight ring, but a few of their defensive lineman are set to be free agents in a year so this pick makes sense as Rousseau can learn from these veterans and then become a starter afterwards.

2021 NFL Mock Draft: Seventh Edition

Here is my seventh edition of my 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Trevor Lawrence, Quarterback, Clemson: This is about as a slam dunk of a draft pick that there has been since perhaps Andrew Luck going first overall in 2012. It may take some time, but there's a chance that Lawrence and Urban Meyer can make the Jaguars a formitable franchise for the next decade and a half.

Speculation although is drawing attention toward Mac Jones, who had a better 2020 season than Fields, but doesn't have the upside of Fields.

7. Detroit Lions- Rashawn Slater, Offensive Tackle, Northwestern: The Lions are a team that should absolutely trade down because they have a rebuild ahead of themselves. If they keep the pick, Slater would be a solid choice here because they have a need on the offensive line and Slater is someone that is versatile and would provide Jared Goff some protection.

8. Carolina Panthers- Jaycee Horn, Cornerback, South Carolina: The Panthers have some options here as they can go with a wide receiver to help out Sam Darnold (as well as a lineman) or a cornerback, which is a position of need. Here I have them doing the latter as the Panthers land themselves somebody who's shown great ability against strong competition in SEC play.

9. Denver Broncos- Trey Lance, Quarterback, North Dakota State: This would be a very risky selection by the Broncos, who have been looking for an upgrade over Drew Lock pretty much all offseason. Lance is somebody that we really haven't seen much of over the past season due to the FCS season being held in both the fall and the spring and we only saw one game of Lance in an exhibition.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (from San Francisco 49ers via Miami Dolphins)- Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver, Alabama: One pick after DeVonta Smith goes his teammate in Waddle to a different NFC East club. Waddle is somebody that the Eagles would be thrilled with due to their lack of top wideouts on their roster as they reunite Waddle with his former quarterback in Jalen Hurts.

17. Las Vegas Raiders- Tevin Jenkins, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State: The Raiders bigger needs lie on the defensive side of the ball, but they also can use a lineman with some losses on the line this offseason. Jenkins is someone who's stock is rising and this pick would scream a classic Raiders pick in which they overdraft of a position of need.

18. Miami Dolphins- Jalean Phillips, Defensive End, Miami: Here we have a home coming of some sort with Phillips staying in Miami and getting picked by the Dolphins. The team has a need on the pass rush and what could possibly hold Phillips back is his health.

21. Indianapolis Colts- Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Linebacker, Notre Dame: Offensive line is a need due to the retirement of Anthony Costanzo, but here I have them grabbing the talented linebacker. Owuso-Koramoah along with Darius Leonard and DeForest Buckner in the same front seven would create havoc for opponents.

22. Tennessee Titans- Azeez Ojulari, Defensive End, Georgia: This would be a solid pick for the Titans, who need help on their pass rush. New addition Bud Dupree cannot do it alone and Ojulari is someone who got better every year in college and is someone that is versatile.

23. New York Jets (from Seattle Seahawks)- Najee Harris, Running Back, Alabama: The Jets have a lot of options here and here I have them snagging the talented running back in Harris. I don't love the idea of taking Harris here, but it's not inconceivable due to his great playmaking and ability to find holes to run.

24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Alijah Vera-Tucker, Offensive Tackle, USC: This would be a great pick for the Steelers, who need to replace Alejandro Villanueva on their offensive line (assuming they don't bring him back). Vera-Tucker is somebody that is versatile and will help Ben Rothlisberger stay upright.

27. Baltimore Ravens- Rashod Bateman, Wide Receiver, Minnesota: Now with two first round picks, the Ravens go with the talented wideout in Bateman. This would be a nice fit and Bateman would complement Marquise Brown very well with his versatility with his ability to play slot or outside.

28. New Orleans Saints- Zaven Collins, Outside Linebacker, Tulsa: The Saints roll with the talented linebacker in Collins, who need some youth at the position with DeMario Davis aging. Collins has the size of a defensive end and the speed and athleticism to succeed at the next level.

2021 NFL Mock Draft: Sixth Edition

Here is my sixth edition of my 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Trevor Lawrence, Quarterback, Clemson: This is as big of a slam dunk as Joe Burrow to Cincinnati at this time a year ago, but maybe even bigger. Lawrence is someone that along with the presence of Urban Meyer that will rejuvenate this franchise for years to come. Lawrence is the best quarterback prospect since perhaps Peyton Manning in 1998.

2. New York Jets- Zach Wilson, Quarterback, BYU: This pick seems like a lock at this point as well as Wilson wasn't even considered the consensus number two pick six months ago. Despite not playing for a power conference school, Wilson really had a dominant senior season after being inconsistent before than.

3. San Francisco 49ers (from Houston Texans via Miami Dolphins)- Mac Jones, Quarterback, Alabama: Jones and Justin Fields will be the talk of the town regarding this pick. This time I'm rolling with Jones with this selection as speculation continues on which quarterback the Niners will take here. There are some out there that feel that Jones was a product of the great talent around him in college and others that believe his Senior season was no fluke.

4. Atlanta Falcons- Kyle Pitts, Tight End, Florida: The Falcons are open to trading down in this first round and I feel they should absolutely entertain offers. I can see Pitts being there selection whether it's here or down a few spots (if he is still on the board). Pitts is the best tight end prospect since Rob Gronkowski due to his route running and opposing defense's inability to stop him.

5. Cincinnati Bengals- Penei Sewell, Offensive Tackle, Oregon: This is absolutely what the Bengals should do here as they land themselves a stud for years to come. The offensive line was a huge weakness as it failed to protect Joe Burrow in his promising rookie season, which came to an abrupt end due to the ACL injury. Burrow probably wants the team to take his former teammate Ja'Marr Chase, but getting protection is more important.

6. Miami Dolphins (from Philadelphia Eagles)- Ja'Marr Chase, Wide Receiver, LSU: This would be a tremendous pick for the Dolphins, who need more weapons around Tua Tagovaiola. Chase is arguably the best wideout prospect since Julio Jones or even Calvin Johnson and he would make Tua a better quarterback.

7. Detroit Lions- DeVonta Smith, Wide Receiver, Alabama: The Lions should seriously consider trading down from this spot due to the fact they could be in for a long rebuild. Smith is someone that won't be easy passing up on due to the fact that he is coming off the greatest collegiate season ever form a wideout and he'll really give Jared Goff a much needed target.

8. Carolina Panthers- Jaylen Waddle, Wide Receiver, Alabama: The Panthers should really focus this pick on offense as they need more around Sam Darnold. As much as Rashawn Slater makes sense here, Waddle does too as the Panthers could use some speed and good route running on the perimeter.

10. Dallas Cowboys- Patrick Sutain II, Cornerback, Alabama: One of the more popular mock draft picks is Sutain to Dallas and for good reason. The Cowboys have needs everywhere on defense and Sutain could come in and start right away for them as they finally have a replacement for Byron Jones.

11. New York Giants- Rashawn Slater, Offensive Tackle, Northwestern: The Giants goal this offseason was to give Daniel Jones all the resources to succeed. They continue on that promise by taking the versatile lineman in Slater, whom is rising up draft boards and there is talk he may go before Penei Sewell, which would be insane to some.

12. Philadelphia Eagles (from San Francisco 49ers via Miami Dolphins)- Jaycee Horn, Cornerback, South Carolina: With the big three wideouts all gone, the Eagles turn their attention to another need in corner. Horn is someone that was tremendous against great SEC competition in the past and I can see him being an impact guy against the great NFC East wideouts if the Eagles are the landing spot.

13. Los Angeles Chargers- Christian Darrisaw, Offensive Tackle, Virginia Tech: This would be a very good pick for the Chargers, who need to get protection for Justin Herbert. Darrisaw would really make the Chargers offensive line a strength at left tackle with his run blocking ability and versatility.

14. Minnesota Vikings- Kwity Paye, Defensive End, Michigan: The Vikings are a bit of an unknown here, but I think they should go improve one of the offensive or defensive lines. The latter is the choice here and Paye is someone that had a great Pro Day performance and is draft stock is rising due to it.

16. Arizona Cardinals- Caleb Farley, Cornerback, Virginia Tech: The Cardinals take a selection of need here with Farley as they need to replace Patrick Peterson in that secondary. Farley opted out last season and that combined with injury issues from the past is what could cause him to potentially drop into the twenties.

19. Washington Football Team- Alijah Vera-Tucker, Offensive Tackle/Guard, USC: This would be a solid pick for Washington considering they badly need help on the offensive line. Vera-Tucker provides versatility and would finally help replace the void left by Trent Williams.

20. Chicago Bears- Greg Newsome II, Cornerback, Northwestern: The Bears have some glaring needs on their roster and corner is one of them. Newsome is someone that will come in and start for the Bears right away due to his athleticism, size, and length and will replace the released Kyle Fuller.

21. Indianapolis Colts- Azeez Ojulari, Defensive End, Georgia: The Colts decide to go with pass rush with this pick and choose someone underrated in Ojulari. What makes Ojulari attractive is his versatility and able to do many things on the field.

22. Tennessee Titans- Jalean Phillips, Defensive End, Miami: This would be a nice pick for the Titans considering they need pass rushing help, even with the addition of Bud Dupree. Phillips some feel is the best at his position in his draft when healthy considering past injury history is why he could be available here.

23. New York Jets (from Seattle Seahawks)- Tevin Jenkins, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State: Assuming Zach Wilson is the selection at two, the Jets need to help protect him at all costs. Jenkins is someone who's stock is rising with a week ago until the draft and he and Mehki Becton could be the tackles of the future for the Jets.

25. Jacksonville Jaguars (from Los Angeles Rams)- Trevon Moehrig, Safety, TCU: Here I have the Jags adding to their young asset collection on defense with Moehrig. I always felt that Moehrig was overshadowed due to playing in the Big-12 and he is super athletic and would be a nice fit in the Jags young defense.

26. Cleveland Browns- Jamin Davis, Linebacker, Kentucky: With a week to go until the draft, one of the fastest risers on the defensive side of the ball is Davis. His size and athleticism will intrigue teams and the Browns could use a linebacker to improve that unit.

27. Baltimore Ravens- Rashod Bateman, Wide Receiver, Minnesota: The Ravens could go in any direction here and here I have them snagging the talented receiver in Bateman. His big play ability and being a red zone threat is something that Lamar Jackson and this offense can use.

28. New Orleans Saints- Zaven Collins, Defensive End/Outside Linebacker, Tulsa: Collins is someone thats getting a lot of love at the back end of the first round as the draft approaches. In what is a homecoming scenario in this pick, Collins would provide the Saints solid versatility and rushes the passer very well.

29. Green Bay Packers- Kadarius Toney, Wide Receiver, Florida: The Packers do what they should have done in the first round of last years draft- take a playmaker to help out Aaron Rodgers. Toney is someone that was overshadowed in Florida's offense due to the presence of Kyle Pitts and he could become their second wideout behind De'Vante Adams.

30. Buffalo Bills- Jayson Oweh, Defensive End, Penn State: Oweh is someone who I feel is one of the more underrated pass rushers in this draft and was overshadowed in college due to the presence of Micah Parsons. Oweh would provide much needed youth on the Bills pass rush.

31. Kansas City Chiefs- Alex Weatherwood, Offensive Tackle, Alabama: The Chiefs are a team in dire-need of offensive line reinforcements after releasing Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz. Weatherwood would be a great option here as he has been battle-tested in college several times and could start right away.

32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Christian Barmore, Defensive Tackle, Alabama: The Bucs really do not have any needs as they are brigning the band back together, trying to get eight for the greatest quarterback of all time. I can see Barmore being the pick here for depth purposes and Ndamukong Suh isn't getting any younger.
