Here are my picks for week 3 of the 2015 College Football season.
Thursday, September 17th
(11) Clemson (2-0; 0-0) at Louisville (0-2; 0-0)- 7:30, ESPN: Clemson has been one of the better teams through the first two weeks of the season, but on the flip side, Louisville has been one of the biggest disappointments of the first two weeks. I expect this to be a close game, but I like Clemson to win this one.
Pick: Clemson
Friday, September 18th
(9) Florida State (2-0; 0-0) at Boston College (2-0; 0-0)- 8:00, ESPN: This game should be a really fun game down in Chestnut Hill. Both teams are off to 2-0 starts and are both very good teams and fun ones, too. I like Florida State and Everett Golson to steal this game on the road, but BC cannot be ruled out here.
Pick: Florida State
Idaho State (1-1; 0-1) at Boise State (1-1; 0-0)- 9:00, CBSSN
Pick: Boise State

Wake Forest (1-1; 0-1) at Army (0-2)- 12:00, CBSSN

Pick: Syracuse
(23) Northwestern (2-0; 0-0) at Duke (2-0; 0-0)- 12:30, ESPN3: Northwestern has exceeded expectations so far through two weeks while Duke has gotten off to a fast start as well. This is a tough call but I'm going to go with 'Cats on the road.
Pick: Northwestern
Georgia State (1-1; 1-0) at (12) Oregon (1-1; 0-0)- 2:00, Pac-12N
Pick: Oregon
Southeastern Louisiana (2-0; 1-0) at Ohio (2-0; 0-0)- 2:00, ESPN3

Pick: Temple
Ball State (1-1; 0-0) at Eastern Michigan (1-1; 0-0)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: Ball State
Memphis (2-0; 0-0) at Bowling Green (1-1; 0-0)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: Bowling Green
Louisiana Tech (1-1; 0-1) at Kansas State (2-0; 0-0)- 3:00
Pick: Kansas State
Troy (1-1; 0-0) at (24) Wisconsin (1-1; 0-0)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Wisconsin
Northern Illinois (2-0; 0-0) at (1) Ohio State- 3:30, ABC/ESPN2

Pick: Virginia Tech
(14) Georgia Tech (2-0; 0-0) at (8) Notre Dame (2-0)- 3:30, NBC: This should be a terrific game between two top 25 teams. Notre Dame lost their quarterback Malik Zaire for the season with a broken ankle, so that opens the door for Georgia Tech. I do think Georgia Tech can win, but I really think despite not having Zaire, Notre Dame is very talented, well coached, and they'll be motivated at home and they will win this one.
Pick: Notre Dame
Nebraska (1-1; 0-0) at Miami (FL) (2-0; 0-0)- 3:30, ABC/ESPN2
Pick: Nebraska
(18) Auburn (2-0; 0-0) at (13) LSU (1-0; 1-0)- 3:30, CBS: This should be a terrific game between these two division rivals. Auburn almost lost against Jacksonville State (!!) but ended up winning in overtime. LSU is coming off a great road win in Starkville to beat Mississippi State. I think LSU takes advantage of a few Jeremy Johnson turnovers and win this one at home in Death Valley.
Pick: LSU
Northwestern (0-2; 0-1) at Mississippi State (1-1; 0-1)- 3:30, SECN
Pick: Mississippi State
Austin Peay (0-2; 0-0) at Vanderbilt (0-2; 0-1)- 3:30, SECN+
Pick: Vanderbilt
Western Kentucky (2-0; 1-0) at Indiana (2-0; 0-0)- 4:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: Western Kentucky

Pick: Idaho
Utah State (1-1; 0-0) at Washington (1-1; 0-0)- 5:00, Pac-12
Pick: Washington
South Carolina (1-1; 0-1) at (7) Georgia (2-0; 1-0)- 6:00, ESPN: This should be a fun game between two division rivals. I like Georgia to win this one but it will be closer than the experts think.
Pick: Georgia
The Citadel (2-0; 1-0) at Georgia Southern (1-1; 0-0)- 6:00, ESPN3
Pick: Georgia Southern
Furman (0-2; 0-0) at UCF (0-2; 0-0)- 6:00, ESPN3
Pick: UCF
Charlotte (2-0; 0-0) at Middle Tennessee (1-1; 0-0)- 6:00
Pick: Middle Tennessee
Texas Tech (2-0; 0-0) at Arkansas (1-1; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN2
Pick: Arkansas
Southern Miss (1-1; 0-0) at Texas State (1-1; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: Southern Miss
Murray State (1-1; 0-0) at Western Michigan (0-2; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: Western Michigan
Missouri State (1-1; 0-0) at Arkansas State (0-2; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN3

NC State (2-0; 0-0) at Old Dominion (2-0; 0-0)- 7:00
Pick: NC State
Colorado (1-1; 0-0) vs Colorado State (1-1; 0-0)- 7:00, CBSSN (Sports Authority Field at Mile High)
Pick: Colorado State
Florida (2-0; 0-0) at Kentucky (2-0; 1-0;)- 7:00, SECN: This should be a fun matchup between these division rivals. I like Kentucky to win this one at home.
Pick: Kentucky
California (2-0; 0-0) at Texas (1-1; 0-0)- 7:30, FOX: This should be an interesting Pac-12 vs Big-12 game between these two clubs. Cal is off to a great start and Texas is pretty much a tale of two different teams from what we saw against Notre Dame and Rice, respectively. I like Texas at home in a close game.
Pick: Texas
Rutgers (1-1; 0-0) at Penn State (1-1; 0-0)- 8:00, BTN
Pick: Penn State
UTEP (0-2; 0-0) at New Mexico State (0-2; 0-1)- 8:00, ESPN3
Pick: UTEP
Maine (0-1; 0-0) at Tulane (0-2; 0-0)- 8:00, ESPN3
Pick: Tulane
South Alabama (1-1; 0-0) at San Diego State (1-1; 0-0)- 8:00
Pick: San Diego State
Pittsburgh (2-0; 0-0) at Iowa (2-0; 0-0)- 8:00, BTN
Pick: Iowa
Stanford (1-1; 0-0) at (6) USC (2-0; 0-0)- 8:00, ABC: This should be a fun game between these conference rivals. USC and Cody Kessler are off to a great start and Stanford looked like two different teams in their first two games. I believe Stanford will look like the team we saw last week, but USC will win a close game.
Pick: USC
San Jose State (1-1; 0-1) at Oregon State (1-1; 0-0)- 8:00, Pac-12N
Pick: Oregon State
SMU (1-1; 0-0) at (3) TCU (2-0; 0-0)- 8:00
Pick: TCU
Iowa State (1-1; 0-0) at Toledo (1-0; 0-0)- 8:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: Toledo
Wyoming (0-2; 0-0) at Washington State (1-1; 0-0)- 8:00, Pac-12N
Pick: Washington State
(15) Ole Miss (2-0; 0-0) at (2) Alabama (2-0; 0-0)- 9:15, ESPN: This should be a fun matchup between these two division rivals. ESPN's College GameDay will be on site in Tuscaloosa for this game. Both teams looked terrific in their first two games, but I really like Alabama here at home. Roll tide!
Pick: Alabama
(19) BYU (2-0) at (10) UCLA (2-0; 0-0)- 10:30, FS1: I don't know if a lot of people circled this game before the season started as a must watch. It's a must watch now with BYU winning their first two games in heroic fashion both times and UCLA and Josh Rosen looking to make another big statement. This game will be closer than the experts think, but I believe Rosen outplays Tanner Mangum and UCLA wins at home.
Pick: UCLA
(21) Utah (2-0; 0-0) at Fresno State (1-1; 0-0)- 10:30, CBSSN
Pick: Utah
Northern Arizona (2-0; 0-0) at (20) Arizona (2-0; 0-0)- 11:00, Pac-12N
Pick: Arizona
UC Davis (0-2; 0-0) at Hawaii (1-1; 0-0)- 11:59
Pick: Hawaii
