2017 NFL Week 13 Picks

Here are my picks for week thirteen of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday, November 30th
Washington Redskins (5-6) vs Dallas Cowboys (5-6)- 8:25, NBC/NFLN: Washington is coming off a Thanksgiving night divisional home win over the New York Giants. Dallas is coming off an awful Thanksgiving home loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Cowboys miss Ezekiel Elliott badly and Dak Prescott has been awful of late and the Redskins will take advantage to get back to .500.
Prediction: Washington 24, Dallas 16.

Sunday, December 3rd
Minnesota Vikings (9-2) vs Atlanta Falcons (7-4)- 1:00, FOX: This is a great game. Minnesota is coming off a big Thanksgiving divisional road win in Detroit against the Lions. Atlanta is coming off a divisional home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Vikings have won seven straight games and I believe that streak comes to an end against a Falcon team that is playing very well right now to win their fourth straight game.
Prediction: Atlanta 27, Minnesota 23.

New England Patriots (9-2) vs Buffalo Bills (6-5)- 1:00, CBS: New England is coming off a dominant divisional home win over the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo is coming off a big road win in Kansas City against the Chiefs. This will be a much closer game than people think and I like the Pats in a close one.
Prediction: New England 23, Buffalo 16.

San Francisco 49ers (1-10) vs Chicago Bears (3-8)- 1:00, CBS: San Francisco is coming off a divisional home loss against the Seattle Seahawks. Chicago is coming off a road loss in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Jimmy Garrapolo is starting this week for the injured CJ Bethard and Garrapolo is the better quarterback and that will show here as the 49ers will win their second game of the season.
Prediction: San Francisco 23, Chicago 13.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7) vs Green Bay Packers (5-6)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a divisional road loss in Atlanta against the Falcons in which they were competitive. Green Bay is coming off a tough Sunday night road loss in Pittsburgh against the Steelers and they were competitive in that one as well. Jameis Winston is back for the Bucs, but sans the fact Aaron Rodgers is still out I'll take the Packers here at home in a close one and Brett Hundley showed me a ton in a hostile environment a week ago.
Prediction: Green Bay 24, Tampa Bay 23.

Houston Texans (4-7) vs Tennessee Titans (7-4)- 1:00, CBS: Houston is coming off a Monday night road loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. Tennessee is coming off a divisional road win in Indianapolis against the Colts. The Titans need this game if they want to keep pace with Jacksonville in the division (although they have the tiebreaker) and I believe they'll take this one.
Prediction: Tennessee 26, Houston 13.

Denver Broncos (3-8) vs Miami Dolphins (4-7)- 1:00, CBS: Denver is coming off a divisional road loss in Oakland against the Raiders in which Paxton Lynch got injured and the previously benched Trevor Siemian took over. Miami is coming off a divisional road loss in Foxboro against the Patriots. It looks like Jay Cutler will get the start this weekend and I think (at least for this week) will lead the Dolphins to a win.
Prediction: Miami 16, Denver 13.

Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) vs New York Jets (4-7)- 1:00, CBS: Kansas City is coming off a bad home loss against the Buffalo Bills. New York is coming off a tough home loss against the Carolina Panthers. If the Chiefs lose this game, than they'll be looked upon as a team that's 5-0 start was an aberration. I will pick them here to win on the road but the Jets will give them a game.
Prediction: Kansas City 20, New York 17.

Indianapolis Colts (4-7) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4)- 1:00, CBS: Indianapolis is coming off a divisional home loss against the Tennessee Titans. Jacksonville is coming off a brutal road loss in Glendale against the Cardinals. The Jags need this game badly to keep pace with the Tennessee Titans in the division and they'll get the job done.
Prediction: Jacksonville 26, Indianapolis 16.

Detroit Lions (6-5) vs Baltimore Ravens (6-5)- 1:00, FOX: Detroit is coming off a tough Thanksgiving day divisional home loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Baltimore is coming off a Monday night home win over the Houston Texans. This is a big game and the winner of this game will still be relatively alive in its conferences playoff hunt and I believe that will be the Ravens.
Prediction: Baltimore 23, Detroit 17.

Cleveland Browns (0-11) vs Los Angeles Chargers (5-6)- 4:05, CBS: Cleveland is coming off a divisional road loss in Cincinnati against the Bengals. Los Angeles is coming off a huge Thanksgiving road win in Arlington against the Cowboys to keep their playoff hopes alive. Those playoff lives will stay alive another week as the Bolts get back to the .500 mark against the leagues worst team.
Prediction: Los Angeles 36, Cleveland 13.

Los Angeles Rams (8-3) vs Arizona Cardinals (5-6)- 4:25, FOX: Los Angeles is coming off a big time home win over the New Orleans Saints. Arizona is coming off a home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Cardinals will give the Rams all they can handle here, but I like the Rams in a close one on the road.
Prediction: Los Angeles 26, Arizona 24.

New York Giants (2-9) vs Oakland Raiders (5-6)- 4:25, FOX: New York is coming off a Thanksgiving night divisional road loss in Landover against the Redskins. Oakland is coming off a divisional home win against the Giants. The Giants made a very dumb decision to bench Eli Manning for Geno Smith and because of that, the Raiders will take advantage of it to get back to .500 and not only that, the Raiders are my lock of the week.
Prediction: Oakland 30, New York 10.

Carolina Panthers (8-3) vs New Orleans Saints (8-3)- 4:25, FOX: This is such a great game. Carolina is coming off a road win in East Rutherford against the Jets. New Orleans is coming off a tough road loss in Los Angeles against the Rams. This was a hard call, but give me the Panthers to snag the road win as the Saints have some injuries on their defense that I can see the Panthers taking advantage of.
Prediction: Carolina 27, New Orleans 24.

Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) vs Seattle Seahawks (7-4)- 8:30, NBC: Philadelphia is coming off a home win over the Chicago Bears. Seattle is coming off a divisional road win in Santa Clara against the 49ers. This is perhaps the most intriguing game of week and the Seahawks haven't been a home underdog of this margin in a long time and because of that, they'll be motivated and for the first time in nearly three months, the Eagles will suffer a defeat.
Prediction: Seattle 26, Philadelphia 20.

Monday, December 4th
Pittsburgh Steelers (9-2) vs Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)- 8:30, ESPN: Pittsburgh is coming off a Sunday night home win over the Green Bay Packers in which Chris Boswell kicked a field goal as time expired. Cincinnati is coming off a divisional home win over the Cleveland Browns. I can see the Bengals winning this game and make a case the Steelers are due for a clunker, but I can't trust Andy Dalton in primetime games unless they are against subpar opponents so give me the Steelers here on the road in a close one.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 20, Cincinnati 17.
