2020 WCC Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2020 WCC Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

First Round
3/5- (9) San Diego (9-22; 2-14) vs (8) Loyola Marymount (10-20; 4-12)- 9:00, BYUtv
Prediction: Loyola Marymount

3/5- (10) Portland (9-22; 1-15) vs (7) Santa Clara (19-12; 6-10)- 11:30, BYUtv
Prediction: Santa Clara

Second Round
3/6- (8) Loyola Marymount vs (5) San Francisco (20-11; 9-7)- 9:00, BYUtv
Prediction: San Francisco

3/6- (7) Santa Clara vs (6) Pepperdine (15-15; 8-8)- 11:30, BYUtv
Prediction: Santa Clara

Third Round
3/7- (5) San Francisco vs (4) Pacific (23-9; 11-5)- 10:00, ESPN2: This is actually a solid game between two teams that have been solid throughout the season. The better team here is the Tigers as they'll advance to take on the Bulldogs.
Prediction: Pacific

3/7- (7) Santa Clara vs (3) Saint Mary's (24-7; 11-5)- 12:00, ESPN2
Prediction: Saint Mary's

Semifinals
3/9- (4) Pacific vs (1) Gonzaga (29-2; 15-1)- 9:00, ESPN: As surprising as the Tigers have been this season, they don't present a real threat to the Zags as they'll advance to the conference title game yet again.
Prediction: Gonzaga

3/9- (3) Saint Mary's vs (2) BYU (24-7; 13-3)- 11:30, ESPN2: This could very well be the best game of the WCC Tournament. This is going to be fun and entertaining as I believe the Cougars move on led by Jake Toolson as the Gaels will settle for an at-large bid.
Prediction: BYU

Championship
3/10- (2) BYU vs (1) Gonzaga- 9:00, ESPN: This should be a very good title game, the Cougars did knock off the Bulldogs a few weeks ago so I expect complete revenge here for the Zags led by Filip Petrušev.
