2015-16 NHL Midseason Awards

Here are my midseason awards for the 2015-16 NHL season.

Hart Trophy: Patrick Kane, Chicago Blackhawks: Kane has been nothing short of incredible this season, putting his tumultuous offseason behind him and now is leading the league in points, goals, and assists. He's definitely the best player in the league now.
Runner up: Braden Holtby, Washington Capitals

Vezina Trophy: Braden Holtby, Washington Capitals: Holtby has been amazing this season and he leads the league in wins and fifth in save percentage. Holtby has absolutely emerged as a franchise goaltender this season.
Runner up: Petr Mrazek, Detroit Red Wings

Norris Trophy: Erik Karlsson, Ottawa Senators: The reigning Norris Trophy winner is the pick here. He's second in the league in assists and is fourth in the league in points. He is the Sens best player and is keeping them in the playoff hunt.
Runner up: Drew Doughty, Los Angeles Kings

Selke Trophy: Patrice Bergeron, Boston Bruins: Bergeron continues to be one of the leagues best two way forwards. He is super valuable for a Bruins team that's hoping to make the playoffs after missing out last season.
Runner up: Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks

Calder Trophy: Artemi Panarin, Chicago Blackhawks: Panarin has been amazing from the start of the season and he leads all rookies in points. It certainly helps that he plays on a line with Patrick Kane and Artem Anisimov, though. A case for Detroit's Dylan Larkin can be made for this award as well.
Runner up: Dylan Larkin, Detroit Red Wings

Jack Adams Award: John Hynes, New Jersey Devils: Hynes has done an outstanding job as a first year head coach and got his team to overachieve to a point that they might sneak into the playoffs, although it helps when Cory Schneider is in net. There are other great candidates for this, but it's hard to go against Hynes.
Runner up: Gerard Gallant, Florida Panthers
