Here are my awards for the 2015 NFL Season.
MVP: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers: Newton has been nothing short of incredible this season and he is the most deserving candidate of this award this season. He is the main reason why his team was 15-1 this season and now representing the NFC in the Super Bowl. You can make the case Newton is the NFL's best quarterback now.
Runner up: Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Offensive Player of the Year: Newton. See Above
Runner up: Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers
Defensive Player of the Year: JJ Watt, Houston Texans: Watt is no doubt the best defensive player in the league. The Texans were 2-5 after seven weeks and than they closed the season winning seven of their final nine games to win the AFC South. Watt single handily carried that defense to the division title and he deserves this honor as long as if he's playing up to his capability.
Runner up: Josh Norman, Carolina Panthers
Offensive Rookie of the Year: David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals: Johnson came out of no where as a rookie and was just outstanding after Chris Johnson went down for the Cardinals. He is very deserving of this award despite other terrific candidates.
Runner up: Amari Cooper, Oakland Raiders
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Marcus Peters, Kansas City Chiefs: Peters was just terrific for the Chiefs this season and catching interceptions left and right. This is his award to lose.
Runner up: Ronald Darby, Buffalo Bills
Comeback Player of the Year: Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals: Despite him being awful in the two playoff games (which may be because of a finger injury), Palmer was outstanding during the regular season. It does certainly help that he has outstanding weapons around him.
Runner up: Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Coach of the Year: Ron Rivera, Carolina Panthers: If you go 15-1, you should win this award. Rivera did a great job this season and should win this award for the second time in three years.
Runner up: Bill Belichick, New England Patriots
