2019 NFL Week 11 Picks

Here are my picks for Week 11 of the 2019 NFL season.

Thursday, November 14th
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) vs Cleveland Browns (3-6)- 8:20, FOX/NFL: The Steelers are coming off a big home win over the Los Angeles Rams. The Browns are coming off a much needed home win over the Buffalo Bills. This will be a low scoring game between these division rivals, but what it comes down to for me is that I do not trust Mason Rudolph on the road in primetime. Give me the Browns to win their second in a row to perhaps save their coaches job for another week.
Prediction: Cleveland 20, Pittsburgh 16

Saturday, November 17th
Dallas Cowboys (5-4) at Detroit Lions (3-5-1)- 1:00, FOX: The Cowboys are coming off a disappointing Sunday Night home loss against the Minnesota Vikings. The Lions are coming off a divisional road loss in Chicago against the Bears. The Lions will be without Matthew Stafford due to his back injury and this opens up as a prime opportunity for the Cowboys to bounce back here and win.
Prediction: Dallas 31, Detroit 16

Jacksonville Jaguars (4-5) at Indianapolis Colts (5-4)- 1:00, CBS: The Jaguars are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they lost in London against the Houston Texans. The Colts are coming off an awful home loss against the Miami Dolphins. Jacoby Brissett is back at quarterback for the Colts this week as is Nick Foles for the Jaguars. I think the Colts at home will bounce back and get a big win.
Prediction: Indianapolis 21, Jacksonville 17

Buffalo Bills (6-3) at Miami Dolphins (2-7)- 1:00, CBS: The Bills are coming off a bad loss in Cleveland against the Browns. The Dolphins are coming off their second win in a row, this time in Indianapolis against the Colts. Guess what? I think the Dolphins will win their third in a row against a Bills team that is proving to be very overrated.
Prediction: Miami 24, Buffalo 20

Denver Broncos (4-5) at Minnesota Vikings (7-3)- 1:00, CBS: The Broncos are coming off a bye and two weeks ago, they won at home over the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings are coming off a great Sunday night road win in Arlington against the Cowboys. Adam Thielen is out for the Vikings again, but I don't think it will matter because Stefon Diggs among others will step up yet again as the Vikings continue to beat bad teams at home.
Prediction: Minnesota 27, Denver 13

New Orleans Saints (7-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-6)- 1:00, FOX: The Saints are coming off a dreadful divisional home loss against the Atlanta Falcons. The Buccaneers are coming off a home win over the Arizona Cardinals. This screams bounce back for the Saints and Drew Brees against a Bucs defense that is among the worst in the league.
Prediction: New Orleans 33, Tampa Bay 24

New York Jets (2-7) at Washington Redskins (1-8)- 1:00, FOX: The Jets are coming off a home win over the New York Giants. The Redskins are coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost in Orchard Park against the Bills. Dwayne Haskins is the permanent starter for the Skins and with Darrius Guice back in the fold, they'll get the win.
Prediction: Washington 24, NY Jets 23

Atlanta Falcons (2-7) at Carolina Panthers (5-4)- 1:00, FOX: The Falcons are coming off a good divisional road win in New Orleans against the Saints. The Panthers are coming off a tough road loss in Green Bay against the Packers in the snow. This is a great spot for Kyle Allen and the Panthers offense to get back on track against a Falcon defense that is not as good as it was last week.
Prediction: Carolina 34, Atlanta 20

Houston Texans (6-3) at Baltimore Ravens (7-2)- 1:00, CBS: This is certainly the best game of the early window and arguably of the entire week 11 slate. The Texans are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they beat their division rival Jacksonville Jaguars in London. The Ravens are coming off a divisional road win against the Cincinnati Bengals. DeShaun Watson vs Lamar Jackson is the main attraction here as both offenses will score at will, but this feels like last team with the ball wins and because of being at home, I think the Ravens take a close one.
Prediction: Baltimore 33, Houston 30

Arizona Cardinals (3-6-1) at San Francisco 49ers (8-1)- 4:05, FOX: The Cardinals are coming off a heartbreaking road loss in Tampa against the Buccaneers. The 49ers are also coming off a heartbreaking loss, except at home on Monday night against the division rival Seattle Seahawks. These teams faced off two weeks ago and the Cards hung in there tough, and I believe that will be the case again, but the Niners will get the win.
Prediction: San Francisco 30, Arizona 23

Cincinnati Bengals (0-9) at Oakland Raiders (5-4)- 4:25, CBS: The Bengals are coming off a disastrous divisional home loss against the Baltimore Ravens. The Raiders are coming off a Thursday night divisional home win over the Los Angeles Chargers. This screams Raiders blowout as Josh Jacobs and that offense will have a field day against a dreadful Bengals defense.
Prediction: Oakland 34, Cincinnati 17

New England Patriots (8-1) at Philadelphia Eagles (5-4)- 4:25, CBS: The Patriots are coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they suffered their first loss of the season in Baltimore against the Ravens on a Sunday night. The Eagles are coming off their bye too and two weeks ago they beat the Chicago Bears at home. Coming off a bye and a loss plus a Super Bowl rematch equals motivation for Tom Brady with revenge on his mind and I expect the Pats to win a fun game at the Linc.
Prediction: New England 24, Philadelphia 17

Chicago Bears (4-5) at Los Angeles Rams (5-4)- 8:20, NBC: Here we have a battle of disappointments for the NFC. The Bears are coming off a divisional home win over the Stafford-less Detroit Lions. The Rams are coming off a bad road loss in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. This game is going to be very ugly, but I think the difference in this game is Mitch Trubisky turnovers as the Rams get the home win.
Prediction: LA Rams 23, Chicago 16

Monday, November 18th

Kansas City Chiefs (6-4) vs Los Angeles Chargers (4-6)- 8:15, ESPN: This game is being played in Mexico City after last years Chiefs/Rams game had gotten moved from Mexico City to LA last season. The Chiefs are coming off a heartbreaking road loss in Nashville against the Titans. The Chargers are coming off a heartbreaking Thursday night divisional road loss in Oakland against the Raiders. I think this will be a fun game with a lot of points and I think the Chiefs take it.
Prediction: Kansas City 31, LA Chargers 27
