Here are my picks for week eleven of the 2016 NFL season.
Thursday, November 17th
New Orleans Saints (4-5) vs Carolina Panthers (3-6)- 8:30, NBC/NFLN: Here's a big divisional game that could be a "loser leaves town" matchup in which the loser of this games season is essentially over. New Orleans is coming off a heartbreaking home loss against the Denver Broncos. Carolina is coming off a heartbreaking home loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. I like Cam Newton and the Panthers to bounce back at home here.
Prediction: Carolina 27, New Orleans 23.
Sunday, November 20th
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-5) vs Cleveland Browns (0-10)- 1:00, CBS: Pittsburgh is coming off a very tough home loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Cleveland is coming off a bad Thursday night divisional road loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. The Steelers absolutely must win this game if they want to turn their season around and this is a golden opportunity for them. I believe Big Ben gets the job done.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 33, Cleveland 17.
Baltimore Ravens (5-4) vs Dallas Cowboys (8-1)- 1:00, CBS: Baltimore is coming off a big Thursday night divisional home win over the Cleveland Browns to claim first place in the AFC North. Dallas is coming off a thrilling victory in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. No one is stopping Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott right now and they'll lead the Cowboys to their ninth straight win.
Prediction: Dallas 31, Baltimore 20.
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) vs Detroit Lions (5-4)- 1:00, CBS: Jacksonville is coming off a bad divisional home loss against the Houston Texans. Detroit is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they won a huge road divisional game in Minneapolis against the Vikings. The Lions are playing quality football right now and that will continue against a bad Jags team.
Prediction: Detroit 33, Jacksonville 19.
Tennessee Titans (5-5) vs Indianapolis Colts (4-5)- 1:00, CBS: Tennessee is coming off a huge home win over the Green Bay Packers. Indianapolis is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they won a big game in Lambeau over the Packers. This was a tough call, but I love how Marcus Mariota and DeMarco Murray are playing as well as the Tutans offense as a whole, so give me them in a mild road upset.
Prediction: Tennessee 33, Indianapolis 27.
Buffalo Bills (4-5) vs Cincinnati Bengals (3-5-1)- 1:00, FOX: Buffalo is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they lost a tough game in Seattle against the Seahawks on a Monday night. Cincinnati is coming off a brutal Monday night road loss in East Rutherford against the Giants. This is another "loser leaves town" game and give me Andy Dalton and the Bengals to get a much needed win.
Prediction: Cincinnati 24, Buffalo 20.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) vs Kansas City Chiefs (7-2)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a big home win over the Chicago Bears. Kansas City is coming off a big comeback win in Charlotte against the Panthers. The Chiefs have been rolling over the last month and a half and they'll get another huge win to keep their divisional lead.
Prediction: Kansas City 30, Tampa Bay 20.
Chicago Bears (2-7) vs New York Giants (6-3)- 1:00, FOX: Chicago is coming off an awful loss in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers. The Giants are coming off a big Monday night home win over Cincinnati Bengals. The Giants are playing good football right now, so I don't see how they drop a game over a bad Bears team, who is dealing with turmoil right now with Alshon Jeffery being suspended and teammates apparently not happy with Jay Cutler.
Prediction: NY Giants 34, Chicago 17.
Arizona Cardinals (4-4-1) vs Minnesota Vikings (5-4)- 1:00, FOX: Arizona is coming off a big divisional home win over the San Francisco 49ers in which they needed. Minnesota is coming off a brutal road loss in Landover against the Redskins. The Vikings are free falling and they clearly aren't the same team after 5-0 and I believe they'll lose their fifth straight game to a Cards team that is due to get hot.
Prediction: Arizona 23, Minnesota 20.
Miami Dolphins (5-4) vs Los Angeles Rams (4-5)- 4:05, FOX: Miami is coming off a huge road win in San Diego against the Chargers. Los Angeles is coming off a nice road win in East Rutherford against the Jets. Jared Goff is finally starting for the Rams, but the Dolphins have been playing great football of late and that will continue here at the Coliseum.
Prediction: Miami 26, Los Angeles 20.
New England Patriots (7-2) vs San Francisco 49ers (1-9)- 4:25, CBS: New England is coming off a very disappointing home loss against the Seattle Seahawks. San Francisco is coming off a heartbreaking loss in Glendale against the Cardinals. The Pats and Tom Brady will be playing angry and motivated after last week and because of that, the Pats are my lock of the week.
Prediction: New England 36, San Francisco 17.
Philadelphia Eagles (5-4) vs Seattle Seahawks (6-2-1)- 4:25, CBS: Philadelphia is coming off a huge home win over the Atlanta Falcons. Seattle is coming off a big time road win in Foxboro against the Patriots. The Seahawks are hitting their stride right now and they'll get another big win against a quality opponent.
Prediction: Seattle 34, Philadelphia 20.
Green Bay Packers (4-5) vs Washington Redskins (5-3-1)- 8:30, NBC: Green Bay is coming off a horrible loss in Nashville against the Titans. Washington is coming off a big home win over the Minnesota Vikings. These are two teams heading in opposite directions and I love the Redskins here at home.
Prediction: Washington 30, Green Bay 24.
Monday, November 21st
Houston Texans (6-3) vs Oakland Raiders (7-2)- 8:30, ESPN: This game will be played in Mexico City. The Texans are coming off a big divisional road win in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. Oakland is coming off their bye and two weeks ago the Raiders won a huge Sunday night divisional home game against the Denver Broncos. I love the Raiders here in Mexico City to get another big win.
Prediction: Oakland 30, Houston 17.
