2016 NFL Week 13 Picks

Here are my picks for week thirteen of the 2016 NFL Season.

Thursday, December 1st
Dallas Cowboys (10-1) vs Minnesota Vikings (6-5)- 8:30, NBC/NFLN: Dallas is coming off a big Thanksgiving divisional home win over the Washington Redskins. Minnesota is coming off a brutal Thanksgiving divisional road loss in Detroit against the Lions. The Vikings defense has been great pretty much the whole season, but it will be hard to stop Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and that offense.
Prediction: Dallas 24, Minnesota 20.

Sunday, December 4th
Kansas City Chiefs (8-3) vs Atlanta Falcons (7-4)- 1:00, FOX: Kansas City is coming off a huge Sunday night overtime road win in Denver against the Broncos. Atlanta is coming off a big home win over the Arizona Cardinals. This screams letdown for Andy Reid's club and I see that happening. Matt Ryan will lead the Falcons to another big win.
Prediction: Atlanta 30, Kansas City 23.

Detroit Lions (7-4) vs New Orleans Saints (5-6)- 1:00, FOX: Detroit is coming off a huge Thanksgiving divisional home win over the Minnesota Vikings. New Orleans is coming off a big home win over the Los Angeles Rams. This game screams shooutout and I see Drew Brees and a hot Saints offense bringing the team back to .500 on the season.
Prediction: New Orleans 38, Detroit 34.

Los Angeles Rams (4-7) vs New England Patriots (9-2)- 1:00, FOX: Los Angeles is coming off a disastrous road loss in New Orleans against the Saints. New England is coming off a road win in East Rutherford against the Jets. Despite the Pats being a little banged up, they should cruise to another win and that said, the Pats are my lock of the week.
Prediction: New England 37, Los Angeles 17.

Houston Texans (6-5) vs Green Bay Packers (5-6)- 1:00, CBS: Houston is coming off a disappointing home loss against the San Diego Chargers. Green Bay is coming off a huge Monday night road win in Philadelphia against the Eagles to keep their season alive. I'm not buying the notion that the Packers are back after a big primetime win, but they'll get back to .500 with a big win over the struggling Brock Osweiler and the Texans.
Prediction: Green Bay 27, Houston 19.

Philadelphia Eagles (5-6) vs Cincinnati Bengals (3-7-1)- 1:00, FOX: Philadelphia is coming off a disappointing Monday night home loss against the Packers. Cincinnati is coming off a tough divisional road loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. The Bengals have so many injuries on their offense and I see the Eagles taking advantage of that and getting back to .500 with a big road win to keep their season alive.
Prediction: Philadelphia 20, Cincinnati 16.

Miami Dolphins (7-4) vs Baltimore Ravens (6-5)- 1:00, CBS: Miami is coming off a big home win over the San Francisco 49ers. Baltimore is coming off a huge divisional home win against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens need this game to remain in first place in their division, but the Dolphins are red hot and have won six straight. Make it seven straight with a big road win to remain in the AFC Wild Card race.
Prediction: Miami 24, Baltimore 23.

San Francisco 49ers (1-10) vs Chicago Bears (2-9)- 1:00, FOX: The NFC Toilet Bowl! San Francisco is coming off a tough loss in Miami against the Dolphins. Chicago is coming off a home loss against the Tennessee Titans. Colin Kaepernick has played well recently as I believe they'll get a road win in a battle of two tanking teams.
Prediction: San Francisco 24, Chicago 16.

Denver Broncos (7-4) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (2-9)- 1:00, CBS: Denver is coming off a tough Sunday night overtime divisional home loss against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jacksonville is coming off a tough road loss in Orchard Park against the Bills. Paxton Lynch will start in place of Trevor Siemian due to Siemian's foot injury, but it won't matter. The Broncos defense will dominate Blake Bortles and the Jags offense.
Prediction: Denver 20, Jacksonville 16.

Buffalo Bills (6-5) vs Oakland Raiders (9-2)- 4:05, CBS: Buffalo is coming off a big home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Oakland is coming off a huge home win over the Carolina Panthers. This is a sneaky good game and I see Oakland winning their seventh straight game thanks to their great offense and I can see the defense forcing turnovers as well.
Prediction: Oakland 30, Buffalo 24.

Washington Redskins (6-4-1) vs Arizona Cardinals (4-6-1)- 4:25, FOX: Washington is coming off a tough Thanksgiving divisional road loss in Arlington against the Cowboys. Arizona is coming off a disastrous road loss in Atlanta against the Falcons. Kirk Cousins and the Skins offense has been on fire lately and I don't see how the Cards can stop it, especially that they couldn't stop Matt Ryan and the Falcons offense.
Prediction: Washington 30, Arizona 23.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5) vs San Diego Chargers (5-6)- 4:25, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a big home win over the Seattle Seahawks. San Diego is coming off a huge road win in Houston against the Texans. I get it, the Bucs defense held the Seahawks to a grand total of five points, but I see a bit of a letdown here against Phillip Rivers and the Chargers offense.
Prediction: San Diego 27, Tampa Bay 23.

New York Giants (8-3) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5)- 4:25, FOX: This is easily the best game of the weekend featuring two elite quarterbacks in Ben Rothlisberger and Eli Manning that have four Super Bowl rings between them. The Giants are coming off a road win in Cleveland against the Browns. The Steelers are coming off a big Thanksgiving night road win in Indianapolis against the Andrew Luck-less Colts. This game screams classic and I think Rothlisberger's weapons will be the difference here as they end the Giants six-game winning streak.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 34, NY Giants 31.

Carolina Panthers (4-7) vs Seattle Seahawks (7-3-1)- 8:30, NBC: Here we have a playoff rematch from last season. Carolina is coming off a brutal road loss in Oakland against the Raiders. Seattle is coming off a bad road loss in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers. I like the Seahawks and Russell Wilson here to bounce back at home against a Panthers team that loses a ton of close games.
Prediction: Seattle 27, Carolina 24.

Monday, December 5th
Indianapolis Colts (5-6) vs New York Jets (3-8)- 8:30, ESPN: Indianapolis is coming off a tough Thanksgiving night home loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers without Andrew Luck. The Jets are coming off a close home loss against the New England Patriots. Luck will be back for the Colts this week and they'll get a big win in Jersey to keep their season alive.
Prediction: Indianapolis 24, NY Jets 17.
