Here are my picks for week ten of the 2015 College Football season.
Tuesday, November 3rd
Northern Illinois (5-3; 3-1) at (24) Toledo (7-0; 4-0)- 8:00, ESPN2: This is a pretty significant game in the MAC. The Rockets are still unbeaten and proven to this point that they're the conferences best team. Expect that to continue here.
Pick: Toledo
Wednesday, November 4th
Ohio (5-3; 2-2) at Bowling Green (6-2; 4-0)- 8:00, ESPN2: The Bobcats have fallen apart as the Falcons have been playing much better of late. That trend continues here.
Pick: Bowling Green
Thursday, November 5th
Buffalo (4-4; 2-2) at Kent State (3-5; 2-2)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: Buffalo
Ball State (3-6; 2-3) at Western Michigan (5-3; 4-0)- 7:30
Pick: Western Michigan
Arkansas State (5-3; 4-0) at Appalachian State (7-1; 4-0)- 7:30, ESPNU: This is a big one in the Sun Belt. The Mountaineers have been red hot and expect them to win their seventh straight.
Pick: Appalachian State
(6) Baylor (7-0; 4-0) at Kansas State (3-4; 0-4)- 7:30, FS1: The Bears were dealt with a big blow that quarterback Seth Russell will be out for the rest of the season with a neck injury. It could cost them down the road, but I think the Bears will get the job done here.
Pick: Baylor
(20) Mississippi State (6-2; 2-2) at Missouri (4-4; 1-4)- 9:00, ESPN: The Bulldogs are playing some good football and that continues here against a disappointing Tigers team.
Pick: Mississippi State
Nevada (4-4; 2-2) at Fresno State (2-6; 1-4)- 10:30, ESPN2
Pick: Nevada
Friday, November 6th
(22) Temple (7-1; 4-0) at SMU (1-7; 0-4)- 8:00, ESPN2
Pick: Temple
Rice (4-4; 2-2) at UTEP (3-5; 1-3)- 8:00, CBSSN
Pick: Rice
BYU (6-2) at San Jose State (4-4; 3-2)
Pick: BYU
Saturday, November 7th
Akron (3-5, 1-3) at Massachusetts (1-7; 0-4)- 12:00, CBSSN
Pick: Akron
Florida Atlantic (2-6; 2-3) at Western Kentucky (7-2; 5-0)- 12:00, FSN
Pick: Western Kentucky
UCF (0-9; 0-5) at Tulsa (4-4; 1-3)- 12:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: Tulsa
Penn State (7-2; 4-1) at (21) Northwestern (6-2; 2-2)- 12:00, ESPNU: This was a tough call, but I think the Wildcats win this one.
Pick: Northwestern
Illinois (4-4; 1-3) at Purdue (2-6; 1-3)- 12:00, BTN
Pick: Purdue
Charlotte (2-6; 0-5) at FIU (4-5; 2-3)- 12:00, ASN
Pick: FIU
Texas Tech (5-4; 2-4) at West Virginia (3-4; 0-4)- 12:00, FS1: Something tells me the Mountaineers will get off the losing end here and snap their four-game losing streak against a Red Raiders team that can't stop anybody right now.
Pick: West Virginia
Duke (6-2; 3-1) at North Carolina (7-1; 4-0)- 12:00, ESPN2: The Tar Heels have been great this season and deserve to be ranked. I think they win their eighth straight game here at home against a Blue Devils team that is coming off a heartbreaker at the hands of the U.
Pick: North Carolina
Vanderbilt (3-5; 1-3) at (10) Florida (7-1; 5-1)- 12:00, ESPN
Pick: Florida
Kentucky (4-4; 2-4) at Georgia (5-3; 3-3)- 12:00, SECN
Pick: Georgia
(5) Notre Dame (7-1) at Pittsburgh (6-2; 4-1)- 12:00, ABC: The Irish are coming off a big win in Philadelphia against the Owls, but I don't see a letdown here although it can't be ruled out.
Pick: Notre Dame
Syracuse (3-5; 1-3) at Louisville (4-4; 3-2)- 12:30, ESPN3
Pick: Louisville
NC State (5-3; 1-3) at Boston College (3-6; 0-6)- 12:30, ESPN3
Pick: NC State
(11) Stanford (7-1; 6-0) at Colorado (4-5; 1-4)- 1:00, Pac-12N
Pick: Stanford
Louisiana-Lafayette (3-4; 2-1) at Georgia State (2-5; 1-2)- 2:00, ESPN3
Pick: Lousiana-Lafayette
Eastern Michigan (1-8; 0-5) at Miami (OH) (1-8; 0-5)- 2:30, ESPN3
Pick: Miami (OH)
Idaho (3-5; 2-3) at South Alabama (3-4; 1-2)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: South Alabama
Colorado State (3-5; 1-3) at Wyoming (1-8; 1-4)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: Colorado State
Virginia (3-5; 2-2) at Miami (FL) (5-3; 2-2)- 3:00, ESPN3: This is a battle of two potential letdowns after both of these teams won big games. The Canes are the better team here so they should win their second straight after firing Al Golden.
Pick: Miami (FL)
(16) Florida State (7-1; 5-1) at (1) Clemson (8-0; 5-0)- 3:30, ABC: This is no doubt the biggest game in the ACC this weekend. The Tigers have proved that their the best team in the conference this season and I think that continues against the Seminoles so no "Clemsoning" here.
Pick: Clemson
Arkansas (4-4; 2-2) at (18) Ole Miss (7-2; 4-1)- 3:30, CBS: I wouldn't be that shocked if this game was close, but I think the Rebels pull it out late.
Pick: Ole Miss
Army (2-6) at Air Force (5-3; 4-1)- 3:30, ESPNU
Pick: Air Force
Arizona State (4-4; 2-3) at Washington State (5-3; 3-2)- 3:30, FS1: It's tempting to pick Wazzu to win after they nearly beat the Cardinal last week. Not so fast, I like the Sun Devils here to pull out the road win in Pullman.
Pick: Arizona State
(9) Iowa (8-0; 4-0) at Indiana (4-4; 0-4)- 3:30, ESPN
Pick: Iowa
Wisconsin (7-2; 4-1) at Maryland (2-6; 0-4)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Wisconsin
Rutgers (3-5; 1-4) at (17) Michigan (6-2; 3-1)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Michigan
(8) TCU (8-0; 5-0) at (14) Oklahoma State (8-0; 5-0)- 3:30, FOX: This should be a fun game to watch and it's the biggest game in the Big-12 this weekend for sure. I want to pick the Cowboys here, but there defense hasn't been good of late as the Horned Frogs defense showed some positive signs against the Mountaineers. Give me the Frogs here.
Pick: TCU
North Texas (1-7; 1-4) at Louisiana Tech (6-3; 4-1)- 3:30, Fox College Sports
Pick: Louisiana Tech
Marshall (8-1; 5-0) at Middle Tennessee (3-5; 2-2)- 3:30, FSN
Pick: Marshall
Cincinnati (5-3; 2-2) at (25) Houston (8-0; 4-0)- 3:30, ESPN2: This is one of two huge games in the American this weekend. I like the Cougars to remain unbeaten here.
Pick: Houston
Louisiana-Monroe (1-7; 0-4) at Troy (2-6; 1-3)- 3:30, ESPN3
Pick: Troy
Utah State (5-3; 4-1) at New Mexico (4-4; 2-2) 3:30, CBSSN
Pick: Utah State
New Mexico State (1-7; 0-4) at Texas State (2-5; 1-2)- 4:00, ESPN3
Pick: Texas State
Connecticut (4-5; 2-3) at Tulane (2-6; 1-4)- 4:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: Connecticut
South Carolina (3-5; 1-5) at Tennessee (4-4; 2-3)- 4:00, SECN
Pick: Tennessee
(23) UCLA (6-2; 3-2) at Oregon State (2-6; 0-5)- 4:30, Pac-12N
Pick: UCLA
Hawaii (2-7; 0-5) at UNLV (2-6; 1-3)- 6:00, Oceanic
Pick: UNLV
Navy (6-1; 4-0) at (13) Memphis (8-0; 4-0)- 7:00, ESPN2: Here is the other big game in the American this weekend. I believe this will be a close one with the Tigers coming out victorious to remain unbeaten.
Pick: Memphis
Old Dominion (3-5; 1-3) at UTSA (1-7; 1-3)- 7:00, ASN
Pick: Old Dominion
Iowa State (3-5; 2-3) at (15) Oklahoma (7-1; 4-1)- 7:00, ESPNU
Pick: Oklahoma
Nebraska (3-6; 1-4) at (7) Michigan State (8-0; 4-0)- 7:00, ESPN
Pick: Michigan State
(12) Utah (7-1; 4-1) at Washington (4-4; 2-3)- 7:30, FOX: This should be a fun game in the Pac-12. The Utes need this one to keep its Pac-12 hopes alive and I believe they win in Seattle.
Pick: Utah
Auburn (4-4; 1-4) at (19) Texas A&M (6-2; 3-2)- 7:30, SECN: I whiffed on picking the Tigers to upset the Rebels last week. Not doing that here against the Aggies, especially in College Station.
Pick: Texas A&M
South Florida (4-4; 2-2) at East Carolina (4-5; 2-3)- 7:30, CBSSN
Pick: East Carolina
(2) LSU (7-0; 4-0) at (4) Alabama (7-1; 4-1)- 8:00, CBS: This is the biggest game of the weekend and perhaps the biggest game of the College Football season to this point and ESPN's College GameDay will be on site as well. Both of these teams are great and this one can go either way. The Tide are just built for games like this and they'll get it done yet again.
Pick: Alabama
Minnesota (4-4; 1-3) at (3) Ohio State (8-0; 4-0)- 8:00, ABC: News broke on Saturday that JT Barrett will be suspended for this game for an arrest due to OVI. I don't think this will affect the result of the game because of the rest of the talent on the Buckeyes roster. Caradelle Jones will have his best performance of the year here.
Pick: Ohio State
Kansas (0-8; 0-5) at Texas (3-5; 2-3)- 8:00, Longhorn Network
Pick: Texas
California (5-3; 2-3) at Oregon (5-3; 3-2)- 10:30, ESPN2: The Bears have fallen apart while the Ducks have been playing better football. Expect that to continue in Athens.
Pick: Oregon
Arizona (5-4; 2-4) at USC (5-3; 3-2)- 10:30, ESPN: The Wildcats haven't been playing well of late while the Trojans have won their last two games. I think the Trojans win a third straight under new interim head coach Clay Helton.
Pick: USC
