2015 NFL Week 10 Picks

Here are my predictions for week ten of the 2015 NFL season.

Thursday, November 12th
Buffalo Bills (4-4) vs New York Jets (5-3)- 8:25, NFLN: Buffalo is are coming off a nice home win over the Miami Dolphins. The Jets are coming off a home win over the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars in which they didn't look great and some injuries occurred during the game as well. While the Bills have gotten healthier and the Jets are losing some key players, I think Tyrod Taylor leads the way to get the Bills back over the .500 mark.
Prediction: Buffalo 27, NY Jets 23.

Sunday, November 15th
Detroit Lions (1-7) vs Green Bay Packers (6-2)- 1:00, FOX: Detroit is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they lost badly in London against the Kansas City Chiefs. Green Bay is coming off a disappointing road loss in Charlotte against the Panthers. The Packers return to Lambeau this week and that will help them to a terrific bounce back win over a hapless Lions team.
Prediction: Green Bay 37, Detroit 20.

Dallas Cowboys (2-6) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5)- 1:00, FOX: Dallas is coming off a brutal Sunday night overtime home loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. Tampa Bay is coming off a home loss against the New York Giants. This was a tough call but I think Jameis Winston's teammates won't be dropping footballs like they did last week and Winston leads the Bucs to a win against a depleted Cowboys team.
Prediction: Tampa Bay 23, Dallas 20.

New Orleans Saints (4-5) vs Washington Redskins (3-5)- 1:00, FOX: New Orleans is coming off a disappointing overtime home loss against the Tennessee Titans. Washington is coming off a tough road loss in Foxboro against the Patriots. The Saints defense has been awful this season, but the Redskins defense hasn't been all that bad. I really like Washington to pull out the home upset.
Prediction: Washington 30, New Orleans 27.

Carolina Panthers (8-0) vs Tennessee Titans (2-6)- 1:00, FOX: Carolina is coming off a terrific home win over the Green Bay Packers. Tennessee is coming off a nice overtime road win in the Superdome against the New Orleans Saints. This has a letdown potential for the Panthers, but I do think this will be a close game since Marcus Mariota is back for the Titans.
Prediction: Carolina 30, Tennessee 23.

Cleveland Browns (2-7) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4)- 1:00, CBS: Cleveland is coming off a Thursday night road loss in Cincinnati against the Bengals. Pittsburgh is coming off a home win over the Oakland Raiders in which Ben Rothlisberger sprained his foot. The Steelers are preparing for Landry Jones to start but wouldn't rule out the possibility of Rothlisberger playing. I don't think we will see Rothlisberger this week, but the talent around Jones should be the difference here against the Browns, no matter who starts at quarterback for them. I do think this will be a close one, though.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 20, Cleveland 17.

Chicago Bears (3-5) vs St. Louis Rams (4-4)- 1:00, CBS: Chicago is coming off a nice Monday night road win in San Diego against the Chargers. St. Louis is coming off a tough overtime road loss in Minneapolis against the Vikings. I do think this will be a closer game than people think, but the Rams pull this one out at home.
Prediction: St. Louis 24, Chicago 20.

Miami Dolphins (3-5) vs Philadelphia Eagles (4-4)- 1:00, CBS: Miami is coming off a disappointing road loss in Orchard Park against the Bills. Philadelphia is coming off a nice overtime Sunday night win in Jerry World against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles are just the better team here as their offense will have another nice game against a mediocre Dolphins team.
Prediction: Philadelphia 33, Miami 20.

Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) vs Baltimore Ravens (2-6)- 1:00, CBS: Jacksonville is coming off a tough road loss in the Meadowlands against the New York Jets. Baltimore is coming off their bye week and two weeks ago, they won at home over the San Diego Chargers. The Ravens are the better team here and Joe Flacco will take advantage of a bad Jaguar defense to lead his team to a win.
Prediction: Baltimore 30, Jacksonville 17.

Minnesota Vikings (6-2) vs Oakland Raiders (4-4)- 4:05, FOX: This is a very underrated game. Minnesota is coming off a nice overtime home win over the St. Louis Rams in which Teddy Bridgewater was concussed during the game. Oakland is coming off a tough road loss in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Bridgewater should be good to go, but I believe he'll be outplayed by Derek Carr, who will lead the Raiders to a win.
Prediction: Oakland 30, Minnesota 24.

Kansas City Chiefs (3-5) vs Denver Broncos (7-1)- 4:25, CBS: Kansas City is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they won big in London over the Detroit Lions. Denver is coming off their first loss of the season in Indianapolis against the Colts. The Chiefs are a little frisky, despite their losing record, but the Broncos are home and are the better team so expect a bounce back win here.
Prediction: Denver 30, Kansas City 20.

New England Patriots (8-0) vs New York Giants (5-4)- 4:25, CBS: There is no doubt this is the biggest and best game of the weekend and might end up being the game of the year when it's all said and done since it's a rematch of two epic Super Bowls in Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI. It might be worth asking if this could be a preview of Super Bowl 50 as well since this was the matchup of the last two Super Bowls that took place in leap years and 2016 is obviously a leap year. New England is coming off a nice home win over Washington. The Giants are coming off a road win in Tampa against the Buccaneers. The Patriots have lost Dion Lewis for the season with a torn ACL and their offensive line is banged up as well. The Giants got Jason Pierre-Paul back last week and he made a nice immediate impact against the Bucs. Big Blue is the Pats nemesis and it's well documented. Since the Pats are pretty banged up in key places and the Giants are getting healthy, Bill Belichick's kryptonite's will hand his team their first loss of the season with big games from Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr.
Prediction: NY Giants 27, New England 24.

Arizona Cardinals (6-2) vs Seattle Seahawks (4-4)- 8:30, NBC: This game could go a long way deciding who wins the NFC West. Both teams are coming off their bye weeks. Two weeks ago, Arizona won a Monday night game over the Baltimore Ravens and Seattle won a road game in Jerry World against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals are just the better team here and for the second time in three years, they quiet the twelfth man and win in Seattle.
Prediction: Arizona 26, Seattle 23.

Monday, November 16th
Houston Texans (3-5) vs Cincinnati Bengals (8-0)- 8:30, ESPN: Houston is coming off their bye week and two weeks ago they won at home over the Tennessee Titans and Marcus Mariota didn't play in that game. Cincinnati is coming off a Thursday night home win over the Cleveland Browns. Tr Bengals have been a top-three team in the league all season and that will continue here against the a Texans. The Bengals are my lock of the week.
Prediction: Cincinnati 33, Houston 16.
