2015 NFL Week 11 Picks

Here are my picks for week ten of the 2015 NFL season.

Thursday, November 19th
Tennessee Titans (2-7) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (3-6)- 8:25, NFLN: This is probably the worst prime time game of the season, even though both teams are on the rise. Tennessee is coming off a home loss against the undefeated Carolina Panthers. Jacksonville is coming off a nice road win in Baltimore against the Ravens, which was their first road win in two seasons. The Jags are home and I expect Blake Bortles to outplay Marcus Mariota and win their second straight.
Prediction: Jacksonville 24, Tennessee 17.

Sunday, November 22nd
Indianapolis Colts (4-5) vs Atlanta Falcons (6-3)- 1:00, CBS: Both teams are coming off their byes, respectively. Two weeks ago, Indianapolis won a big game at home over the Denver Broncos and Atlanta lost a dreadful game in San Francisco against Blaine Gabbert (!!!) and the 49ers. Andrew Luck is not playing and that's a problem, even though Matt Hasselbeck wasn't bad in the two games he started in. I don't feel good about this pick at all whatsoever, but Matt Ryan will lead his team to a bounce back win.
Prediction: Atlanta 24, Indianapolis 20.

St. Louis Rams (4-5) vs Baltimore Ravens (2-7)- 1:00, FOX: This game is going to be ugly. St. Louis is coming off a disastrous home loss against the Chicago Bears and Nick Foles has been benched for Case Keenum. Baltimore is coming off a horrible home loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I don't think the quarterback change will help or hurt the Rams, but Todd Gurley should run all over the Ravens defense en route to a road win.
Prediction: St. Louis 20, Baltimore 17.

Dallas Cowboys (2-7) vs Miami Dolphins (4-5)- 1:00, FOX: It's rare when a 2-7 team is favored on the road, but that's the case here when the Cowboys will get Tony Romo back from injury after suffering their seventh straight loss in Tampa against the Bucs. Miami is coming off a nice road win in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Romo is back for Dallas and he'll show why he was missed with a road win in Miami against an up and down Dolphins team.
Prediction: Dallas 27, Miami 23.

New York Jets (5-4) vs Houston Texans (4-5)- 1:00, CBS: New York is coming off a disappointing home loss against their former coach Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills. Houston is coming off an unexpected road win in Cincinnati against the Bengals. TJ Yates is likely starting for the Texans since Brian Hoyer is injured. Something tells me the Texans suffer a bit of a letdown here as a desperate Jets team pulls off a much needed road win.
Prediction: NY Jets 23, Houston 20.

Denver Broncos (7-2) vs Chicago Bears (4-5)- 1:00, CBS: Denver is coming off a dreadful home loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in which Peyton Manning was benched in. Chicago is coming off a great road win in St. Louis against the Rams. Brock Osweiler is starting for the injured Manning this week. The Broncos might be a more talented team than the Bears, but I don't trust Osweiler here as the Bears will pull of the upset.
Prediction: Chicago 26, Denver 20.

Oakland Raiders (4-5) vs Detroit Lions (2-7)- 1:00, CBS: Oakland is coming off a disappointing home loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Detroit is coming off perhaps the most shocking victory of any team this season, going into Lambeau and beating a heavily favored Packers team. I see a letdown for the Lions this week as the Raiders will snap a two-game slide.
Prediction: Oakland 34, Detroit 26.

Washington Redskins (4-5) vs Carolina Panthers (9-0)- 1:00, FOX: Washington is coming off a great home win over the New Orleans Saints. Carolina is coming off a road win in Nashville over the Titans. I do think the Skins have a punchers chance here and will keep this thing close, but the Panthers are just the better team here and will remain unbeaten.
Prediction: Carolina 27, Washington 23.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) vs Philadelphia Eagles (4-5)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a last second home win over the Dallas Cowboys. Philadelphia is coming off a dreadful home loss against the Miami Dolphins in which Sam Bradford injured his shoulder in. Yes I get it, Mark Sanchez is probably starting for the Eagles, but eventually the more talented team will win and the Eagles are more talented than the Bucs, who I see having a letdown after their win over the Cowboys.
Prediction: Philadelphia 30, Tampa Bay 23.

Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) vs San Diego Chargers (2-7)- 4:05, CBS: Kansas City is coming off a good win in Denver against the Broncos. San Diego is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they lost a Monday Night home game against the Chicago Bears. The Chiefs are a win away from getting back to the .500 mark and they'll get it done against a banged up Chargers team.
Prediction: Kansas City 21, San Diego 16.

San Francisco 49ers (3-6) vs Seattle Seahawks (4-5)- 4:25, FOX: Remember two years ago when this was considered the best rivalry in football? That isn't the case anymore as these two teams aren't as good as they were then. San Francisco is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they beat the Atlanta Falcons at home. Seattle is coming off a very disappointing Sunday Night home loss against the Arizona Cardinals. I think the Seahawks get to .500 here but it won't be in dominant fashion.
Prediction: Seattle 23, San Francisco 13.

Green Bay Packers (6-3) vs Minnesota Vikings (7-2)- 4:25, FOX: This game could very well decide who wins the NFC North as this is a tail of two different trends regarding these teams. Green Bay is trending down after their dreadful home loss against the Detroit Lions, which was their third straight loss. Minnesota is trending up after a terrific road win in Oakland against an up and coming Raiders team, which was their fifth straight win. Adrian Peterson is emerging as an MVP candidate again and he'll carry the Vikings to their sixth straight win against a free-falling Packers team.
Prediction: Minnesota 30, Green Bay 24.

Cincinnati Bengals (8-1) vs Arizona Cardinals (7-2)- 8:30, NBC: The NFL clearly made the correct decision to flex this inter-conference matchup into Sunday Night Football instead of Chiefs-Chargers. Cincinnati is coming off a bad Monday Night home loss against the Houston Texans. Arizona is coming off a terrific win in Seattle against the Seahawks after falling behind in the second half. This should be a great game, but the Cardinals are a terrific home team and they'll hand the Bengals their second straight loss.
Prediction: Arizona 27, Cincinnati 24.

Monday, November 23rd
Buffalo Bills (5-4) vs New England Patriots (9-0)- 8:30, ESPN: Buffalo is coming off a good Thursday Night road win in the Meadowlands against the Jets in Rex Ryan's return. New England also won in the Meadowlands, except on Sunday against the Giants in which they came very close to losing. The Pats are dominant at home and even though the Bills are healthier, I see a letdown here.  The Patriots are my lock of the week due to the fact that there aren't many good choices for one.
Prediction: New England 34, Buffalo 23.
