2017 ACC Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2017 ACC tournament.

First Round
3/7- (13) North Carolina State (14-16; 4-14) vs (12) Clemson (16-14; 6-12)- 12:00, ESPN2: Both of these teams have great players that can take over games in the Gamecocks' Dennis Smith and the Tigers' Jaron Blossomgame. I like the Tigers to win a close one in what will be Mark Gottfried's final game as Gamecocks coach.
Prediction: Clemson

3/7- (15) Boston College (9-22; 2-16) vs (10) Wake Forest (18-12; 9-9)- 2:00, ESPN2: The Demon Deacons must win this game or else they'll be NIT bound.
Prediction: Wake Forest

3/7- (14) Pittsburgh (15-16; 4-14) vs (11) Georgia Tech (17-14; 8-10)- 7:00, ESPNU: This could very well be a play-in game for a NCAA tournament bid.
Prediction: Georgia Tech

Second Round
3/8- (9) Miami (20-10; 10-8) vs (8) Syracuse (18-13; 10-8)- 12:00, ESPN: The loser of this game could very well be left out of the NCAA tournament field. The fact that the game is in Brooklyn is in the Orange's favor so give me the Orange.
Prediction: Syracuse

3/8- (12) Clemson vs (5) Duke (23-8; 11-7)- 2:00, ESPN: Blossomgame will keep the Tigers lingering but the Blue Devils talent will pull away late.
Prediction: Duke

3/8- (10) Wake Forest vs (7) Virginia Tech (21-9; 10-8)- 7:00, ESPN2: This should be a competitive game and both teams should be in the field regardless of who wins, but give me the Hokies.
Prediction: Virginia Tech

3/8- (11) Georgia Tech vs (6) Virginia (21-9; 11-7)- 9:00, ESPN2: The Yellow Jackets might need this one to definitely secure a bid, but I like the Cavs here.
Prediction: Virginia

Quarterfinals
3/9- (8) Syracuse vs (1) North Carolina (26-6; 14-4)- 12:00, ESPN: Even if they lose here, the Orange should be in the field. Justin Jackson and the Tarheels win a close one here.
Prediction: North Carolina

3/9- (5) Duke vs (4) Louisville (24-7; 12-6)- 2:00, ESPN: This should be a terrific game, but I like Jayson Tatum, Grayson Allen, Luke Kennard and the Blue Devils to get the win over Quintin Snyder and the Cardinals.
Prediction: Duke

3/9- (7) Virginia Tech vs (2) Florida State (24-7; 12-6)- 7:00, ESPN: This should be an interesting game, but I like the Seminoles here to pull it out.
Prediction: Florida State

3/9- (6) Virginia vs (3) Notre Dame (23-8; 12-6)- 9:00, ESPN: This should be a fun game as well, but I like the Irish and their offensive firepower to carry them to the Semi's.
Prediction: Notre Dame

Semifinals
3/10- (5) Duke vs (1) North Carolina- 7:00, ESPN: College Basketball's best rivalry meets up for a third time this season. Expect a classic, but I like Jackson and the Tarheels to advance.
Prediction: North Carolina

3/10- (3) Notre Dame vs (2) Florida State- 9:00, ESPN: This should be a fun game with a ton of scoring, but I like the Irish to advance here.
Prediction: Notre Dame

Championship
3/11- (3) Notre Dame vs (1) North Carolina- 9:00, ESPN: This should be an entertaining championship game. Jackson will lead the way as this will pretty much wrap up a 1-seed for the Tar Heels.
