2017 First Four Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2017 First Four round of the NCAA tournament.

3/14- (E16) New Orleans (20-11) vs (E16) Mount St. Mary's (19-15)- 6:40, truTV: These two teams are here because they won their auto bids and the committee rightfully put these two teams in the First Four. I like Erik Thomas to lead the way for the Privateers here to move on to take on the Villanova Wildcats in the Round Of 64.
Prediction: New Orleans

3/14- (S11) Kansas State (20-13) vs (S11) Wake Forest (19-13)- 9:10, truTV: This should be a great First Four game and the committee also got this two teams placements correct. John Collins has been one of the more underrated players in college basketball this season and he'll lead the Demon Deacons to a Round Of 64 matchup against the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Prediction: Wake Forest

3/15- (MW16) North Carolina Central (25-8) vs (MW16) UC Davis (22-12)- 6:40, truTV: These two teams are here because they won their auto bids and you can make a case these teams should be 16 seeds with byes instead of being stuck in this game. I like Patrick Cole to carry the Eagles to a Round Of 64 date with the Kansas Jayhawks.
Prediction: North Carolina Central

3/15- (E11) Providence (20-12) vs (E11) USC (24-9)- 9:10, truTV: Here we have a rematch of a Round Of 64 game from a year ago. The Friars aren't as talented as they were last season and the Trojans have an excellent front court that will propel them to a Round Of 64 match with the SMU Mustangs.
Prediction: USC
