2017 NCAA Tournament Predictions: First Round- Day 2

Here are my predictions for day two of the first round of the 2017 NCAA tournament.

3/17- (MW10) Oklahoma State (21-10) vs (MW7) Michigan (24-11)- 12:15, CBS: This should be an outstanding game between two good teams that were both under seeded. Jawun Evans is one of the best point guards in the country, but the Wolverines have been red hot lately so give me them in a close one over the Cowboys.
Prediction: Michigan

3/17- (E14) New Mexico State (28-5) vs (E3) Baylor (25-7)- 12:40, truTV: I've seen some people pick an upset here, but I'm not among them. I like the Bears to advance here.
Prediction: Baylor

3/17- (S9) Seton Hall (21-11) vs (S8) Arkansas (25-9)- 1:30, TNT: This should be a good matchup between two solid teams. I like the experience of the Pirates to be a difference here as they'll advance.
Prediction: Seton Hall

3/17- (MW14) Iona (22-12) vs (MW3) Oregon (29-5)- 2:00, TBS: Despite losing Chris Boucher, the Ducks should get by the Gaels comfortably.
Prediction: Oregon

3/17- (MW15) Jacksonville State (20-14) vs (MW2) Louisville (24-8)- 2:45, CBS: Rick Pitino's club should get by here with some ease.
Prediction: Louisville

3/17- (E11) USC (25-9) vs (E6) SMU (30-4)- 3:10, truTV: This should be a tremendous game. The Ponies were under seeded in this tournament and they'll win a close one over a decent Trojans team.
Prediction: SMU

3/17- (S16) Texas Southern (23-11) vs (S1) North Carolina (27-7)- 4:00, TNT: The Tar Heels should roll here through a team that should have been playing in the First Four and not received a bye.
Prediction: North Carolina

3/17- (MW11) Rhode Island (24-9) vs (MW6) Creighton (25-9)- 4:30, TBS: This should be a fun game. The Rams are healthy and playing well right now and EC Matthews will lead them to a win.
Prediction: Rhode Island

3/17- (MW16) UC Davis (22-12) vs (MW1) Kansas (28-4)- 6:50, TNT: The Jayhawks should have no issue here.
Prediction: Kansas

3/17- (S10) Wichita State (30-4) vs (S7) Dayton (24-7)- 7:10, CBS: This should be an excellent game between two really good teams. The Shockers were badly under seeded and they'll win a close one over the Flyers in what could be Archie Miller's final game as Flyers coach.
Prediction: Dayton

3/17- (E15) Troy (21-14) vs (E2) Duke (27-8)- 7:20, TBS: The Blue Devils should win this game with ease.
Prediction: Duke

3/17- (S11) Kansas State (20-13) vs (S6) Cincinnati (29-5)- 7:27, truTV: This should be a great game. Give me the Bearcats here because I believe they'll get big defensive stops down the stretch.
Prediction: Cincinnati

3/17- (MW9) Michigan State (19-14) vs (MW8) Miami (21-11)- 9:20, TNT: This should be a tremendous game. Tom Izzo has done one hell of a coaching job this season for the Spartans as well as Jim Larannega for the Canes, but Miles Bridges will carry the Spartans to the Round Of 32 (most likely) against the Kansas Jayhawks.
Prediction: Michigan State

3/17- (S15) Northern Kentucky (24-10) vs (S2) Kentucky (29-5)- 9:40, CBS: The Wildcats should have no issue with this instate opponent.
Prediction: Kentucky

3/17- (E10) Marquette (19-12) vs (E7) South Carolina (22-10)- 9:50, TBS: This should be a very entertaining game here with the Golden Eagles, who are great offensively and the Gamecocks who are great defensively. Sindarius Thornwell will likely be the best player on the court, but give me the Golden Eagles and their prolific offense here to set up Steve Wojciechowski likely going up against his former mentor in Coach K.
Prediction: Marquette

3/17- (S14) Kent State (22-13) vs (S3) UCLA (29-4)- 9:57, truTV: The Bruins should have no issue here and should cruise here.
Prediction: UCLA
