2017 NCAA Tournament Predictions: Sweet 16

Here are my predictions for the Sweet 16 of the 2017 NCAA tournament.

3/23- (MW7) Michigan vs (MW3) Oregon- 7:09, CBS: This should be some game. The Ducks almost lost against the Rhode Island Rams and the Wolverines continue their run of destiny with an upset over the Louisville Cardinals in the Round Of 32. Something tells me the Wolverines run continues and they pull off the upset.
Prediction: Michigan

3/23- (W4) West Virginia vs (W1) Gonzaga- 7:39, TBS: This is a very intriguing game. This may not be a good matchup for the Bulldogs due to the press that the Mountaineers will present. That said, I like Nigel Williams-Goss and the Dogs to advance in a close one.
Prediction: Gonzaga

3/23- (MW4) Purdue vs (MW1) Kansas- 9:39, CBS: Here we have a matchup featuring two National Player of the Year candidates in the Jayhawks's Frank Mason and the Boilermakers's Caleb Swanigan. I think the Jayhawks are the deeper team and that will be the difference here.
Prediction: Kansas

3/23- (W11) Xavier vs (W2) Arizona- 10:09, TBS: Chris Mack deserves a ton of credit for bringing Musketeers here without Edmond Sumner. The Wildcats looked good their last two games and they should knock off a shorthanded Musketeers team with some ease.
Prediction: Arizona

3/24- (S4) Butler vs (S1) North Carolina- 7:09, CBS: This should be an interesting game. The Bulldogs are very unpredictable they can win or lose close or blowout. I'm going to say Justin Jackson and the Tarheels pull away late and move on to the Elite 8.
Prediction: North Carolina

3/24- (E7) South Carolina vs (E3) Baylor- 7:29, TBS: This game is actually pretty intriguing because both teams have players that can carry their teams in the Gamecocks's Sindarius Thornwell and Baylor's Jonathan Motley. This was a tough call, but give me Thornwell and the Cocks to go to the Elite 8.
Prediction: South Carolina

3/24- (S3) UCLA vs (S2) Kentucky- 9:39, CBS: This is a dream matchup that CBS has to be going gaga over it. We have big time programs going up against each other with so much talent on both sides. The backcourt of Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox is as good as it gets, but Lonzo Ball is perhaps the best player in college basketball and he'll lead the Bruins to the Elite 8.
Prediction: UCLA

3/24- (E8) Wisconsin vs (E4) Florida- 10:09, TBS: This is actually pretty good matchup too. The Gators have played really well since losing John Egbunu, but the experience of the Badgers with Bronson Koeing, Nigel Hayes, and Ethan Happ will lead the way to their third Elite 8 in four years.
Prediction: Wisconsin
