2017 Big-12 Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2017 Big-12 tournament.

First Round
3/8- (9) Oklahoma (11-19; 5-13) vs (8) TCU (17-14; 6-12)- 7:00, ESPNU: The Horned Frogs aren't a bad team, but the Sooners will pull out the upset led by Jordan Woodard.
Prediction: Oklahoma

3/8- (10) Texas (10-21; 4-14) vs (7) Texas Tech (18-13; 6-12)- 9:00, ESPNU: This should be a nice game and I like Jarrett Allen to lead the Longhorns to an upset win here.
Prediction: Texas

Quarterfinals
3/9- (5) Oklahoma State (20-11; 9-9) vs (4) Iowa State (20-10; 12-6)- 12:30, ESPN2: Jawun Evans will keep the Cowboys in this one, but the Cyclones are the better team here.
Prediction: Iowa State

3/9- (9) Oklahoma vs (1) Kansas (28-3; 16-2)- 2:30, ESPN2: Woodard will keep the Sooners hanging around, but expect the Jayhawks (sans no Josh Jackson, who's suspended for this game), will pull away thanks to Frank Mason.
Prediction: Kansas

3/9- (10) Texas vs (2) West Virginia (24-7; 12-6)- 7:00, ESPNU: Allen will keep the Horns in this game, but Press Virginia will pull away late.
Prediction: West Virginia

3/9- (6) Kansas State (19-12; 8-10) vs (3) Baylor (25-6; 12-6)- 9:00, ESPNU: The Wildcats might need this one to ensure themselves a bid, but I like the Bears in this game.
Prediction: Baylor

Semifinals
3/10- (4) Iowa State vs (1) Kansas- 7:00, ESPN2: Expect a high scoring game here. Monte Morris will keep the Cyclones lurking, but Jackson and Mason will lift the Jayhawks.
Prediction: Kansas

3/10- (3) Baylor vs (2) West Virginia- 9:00, ESPN2: This is a fascinating game. I like the Press of the Mountaineers to lift them back to the conference championship game,
Prediction: West Virginia

Championship
3/11- (2) West Virginia vs (1) Kansas- 6:00, ESPN: This should be a fun championship game between two of the best teams in the conference. I like the star power of the Jayhawks to overcome Press Virginia to perhaps the number one overall seed in the Big Dance.
