2017 NCAA Tournament Predictions: Elite 8

Here are my predictions for the Elite 8 of the 2017 NCAA tournament.

3/25- (W11) Xavier vs (W1) Gonzaga- 6:09, TBS: This is going to be some game. The Musketeers are this years Cinderella team due to the face literally no one had them in the Elite 8 and that they lost Edmond Sumner for the season. Trevon Blewitt has arguably been the best and most valuable player in this entire tournament so far. The Bulldogs have an opportunity to go to their first final four and the way the Musketeers have been playing it won't be easy. That said, the Bulldogs are the better team and Nigel-Williams Goss will make big plays to lead the Bulldogs to their first Final Four.
Prediction: Gonzaga

3/25- (MW3) Oregon vs (MW1) Kansas- 8:49, TBS: This is a fascinating matchup we got here. The Ducks have done a great job without Chris Boucher so far and it helps that Dillon Brooks is someone who can carry a team. The Jayhawks look like the best team in the tournament so far as well as the North Carolina Tarheels. The Jayhawks depth of Josh Jackson, Frank Mason, and DeVonta Graham will be a huge difference here as they'll move on to their first Final Four since 2012.
Prediction: Kansas

3/26- (E7) South Carolina vs (E3) Florida- 2:20, CBS: Here we have a conference matchup that is very fascinating. The Gamecocks were dominant on both ends against the Baylor Bears. The Gators won an absolute thriller in overtime on a buzzer beater by Chris Chiozza. Sindarius Thornwell has been dominant in this tournament and I believe he'll carry the Gamecocks to their first Final Four under Frank Martin.
Prediction: South Carolina

3/26- (S2) Kentucky vs (S1) North Carolina- 5:05, CBS: This is easily the best game of the Elite 8 and it's a rematch of what was the best game of the regular season that took place back in December in the CBS Sports Classic in Las Vegas. Both teams can flat out score with the Wildcats backcourt of Malik Monk and De'Aaron Fox and the Tarheels have a great duo in Justin Jackson and Joel Berry. This was a hard call, but give me the Tarheels to move in to their second straight Final Four.
Prediction: North Carolina
