2017 Big Ten Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2017 Big Ten tournament.

First Round
3/8- (13) Penn State (14-17; 6-12) vs (12) Nebraska (12-18; 6-12)- 4:30, ESPN2
Prediction: Nebraska

3/8- (14) Rutgers (14-17; 3-15) vs (11) Ohio State (17-14; 7-11)- 7:00, BTN
Prediction: Ohio State

Second Round
3/9- (9) Illinois (18-13; 8-10) vs (8) Michigan (20-11; 10-8)- 12:00, BTN: The winner of this game will probably be in the Big Dance.
Prediction: Michigan

3/9- (12) Nebraska vs (5) Michigan State (18-13; 10-8)- 2:30, BTN
Prediction: Michigan State

3/9- (10) Indiana (17-14; 7-11) vs (7) Iowa (18-13; 10-8)- 6:30, ESPN2: The Hawkeyes desperately need this one or else they're bound for the NIT.
Prediction: Iowa

3/9- (11) Ohio State vs (6) Northwestern (21-10; 10-8)- 9:00, ESPN2
Prediction: Northwestern

Quarterfinals
3/10- (8) Michigan vs (1) Purdue (25-6; 14-4)- 12:00, ESPN
Prediction: Purdue

3/10- (5) Michigan State vs (4) Minnesota (23-8; 11-7)- 2:30, ESPN: The loser of this game will be in the dance regardless, but Tom Izzo's teams usually hit their stride come this time of year so give me Miles Bridges and Sparty to advance to the Semi's.
Prediction: Michigan State

3/10- (7) Iowa vs (2) Wisconsin (23-8; 12-6)- 6:30, BTN: The Badgers have struggled of late and the Hawkeyes have been hot. This was a hard call, but give me the Badgers here and I think the Hawkeyes get in as long as they win their second round game.
Prediction: Wisconsin

3/10- (6) Northwestern vs (3) Maryland (24-7; 12-6)- 9:00, BTN: This should be a fantastic game, but Melo Trimble will hit the big shots to lead the Terps.
Prediction: Maryland

Semifinals
3/11- (5) Michigan State vs (1) Purdue- 1:00, CBS: This should be a fun game that comes down to the end. As much as I wanted to take Sparty here, Conference Player of the Year Caleb Swanigan will lead the way for the Boilmakers here.
Prediction: Purdue

3/11- (3) Maryland vs (2) Wisconsin- 3:30, CBS: This should be a fun game as well. Trimble will hit big shots to lead the Terps to the Championship game.
Prediction: Maryland

Championship
3/12- (3) Maryland vs (1) Purdue- 3:00, CBS: This should be a great championship game will a ton of talent. The Boilmakers are the better team here and Swanigan will hit big shots as well as Trimble, who will keep the Terps in this one.
Prediction: Purdue
