2016 NFL Conference Championship Predictions

Here are my predictions for the NFL Conference Championship games.

Sunday, January 24th
(A2) New England Patriots (12-4) vs (A1) Denver Broncos (12-4)- 3:00, CBS: This is a fascinating AFC Championship game we have here featuring two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. This is the seventeenth and perhaps the final time we will see Brady versus Manning. New England is coming off an impressive win in the divisional round over the Kansas City Chiefs. Denver is coming off a come from behind win in the divisional round over the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Broncos do have home field advantage and Brady hasn't had good history in Denver, but I will take the Patriots here on the road and advance to their second straight Super Bowl in a close game.
Prediction: New England 23, Denver 20.

(N2) Arizona Cardinals (13-3) vs (N1) Carolina Panthers (15-1)- 6:40, FOX: This game has a ton of intrigue and these are clearly the best teams in the NFC for sure. Arizona is coming off a thrilling overtime win in the divisional round against the Green Bay Packers in which Aaron Rodgers single handily kept the Packers a chance in that game. Carolina is coming off an impressive win over the Seattle Seahawks in which they led 31-0 at the half and gave up 24 in the second half. Cam Newton is the MVP frontrunner and Carson Palmer looked awfully shaky against the Packers so give me the Panthers to advance to their first Super Bowl since 2004.
Prediction: Carolina 27, Arizona 23.
