2017 NFL Week 13 Picks

Here are my picks for week thirteen of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday, November 30th
Washington Redskins (5-6) vs Dallas Cowboys (5-6)- 8:25, NBC/NFLN: Washington is coming off a Thanksgiving night divisional home win over the New York Giants. Dallas is coming off an awful Thanksgiving home loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Cowboys miss Ezekiel Elliott badly and Dak Prescott has been awful of late and the Redskins will take advantage to get back to .500.
Prediction: Washington 24, Dallas 16.

Sunday, December 3rd
Minnesota Vikings (9-2) vs Atlanta Falcons (7-4)- 1:00, FOX: This is a great game. Minnesota is coming off a big Thanksgiving divisional road win in Detroit against the Lions. Atlanta is coming off a divisional home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Vikings have won seven straight games and I believe that streak comes to an end against a Falcon team that is playing very well right now to win their fourth straight game.
Prediction: Atlanta 27, Minnesota 23.

New England Patriots (9-2) vs Buffalo Bills (6-5)- 1:00, CBS: New England is coming off a dominant divisional home win over the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo is coming off a big road win in Kansas City against the Chiefs. This will be a much closer game than people think and I like the Pats in a close one.
Prediction: New England 23, Buffalo 16.

San Francisco 49ers (1-10) vs Chicago Bears (3-8)- 1:00, CBS: San Francisco is coming off a divisional home loss against the Seattle Seahawks. Chicago is coming off a road loss in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Jimmy Garrapolo is starting this week for the injured CJ Bethard and Garrapolo is the better quarterback and that will show here as the 49ers will win their second game of the season.
Prediction: San Francisco 23, Chicago 13.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-7) vs Green Bay Packers (5-6)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a divisional road loss in Atlanta against the Falcons in which they were competitive. Green Bay is coming off a tough Sunday night road loss in Pittsburgh against the Steelers and they were competitive in that one as well. Jameis Winston is back for the Bucs, but sans the fact Aaron Rodgers is still out I'll take the Packers here at home in a close one and Brett Hundley showed me a ton in a hostile environment a week ago.
Prediction: Green Bay 24, Tampa Bay 23.

Houston Texans (4-7) vs Tennessee Titans (7-4)- 1:00, CBS: Houston is coming off a Monday night road loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. Tennessee is coming off a divisional road win in Indianapolis against the Colts. The Titans need this game if they want to keep pace with Jacksonville in the division (although they have the tiebreaker) and I believe they'll take this one.
Prediction: Tennessee 26, Houston 13.

Denver Broncos (3-8) vs Miami Dolphins (4-7)- 1:00, CBS: Denver is coming off a divisional road loss in Oakland against the Raiders in which Paxton Lynch got injured and the previously benched Trevor Siemian took over. Miami is coming off a divisional road loss in Foxboro against the Patriots. It looks like Jay Cutler will get the start this weekend and I think (at least for this week) will lead the Dolphins to a win.
Prediction: Miami 16, Denver 13.

Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) vs New York Jets (4-7)- 1:00, CBS: Kansas City is coming off a bad home loss against the Buffalo Bills. New York is coming off a tough home loss against the Carolina Panthers. If the Chiefs lose this game, than they'll be looked upon as a team that's 5-0 start was an aberration. I will pick them here to win on the road but the Jets will give them a game.
Prediction: Kansas City 20, New York 17.

Indianapolis Colts (4-7) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (7-4)- 1:00, CBS: Indianapolis is coming off a divisional home loss against the Tennessee Titans. Jacksonville is coming off a brutal road loss in Glendale against the Cardinals. The Jags need this game badly to keep pace with the Tennessee Titans in the division and they'll get the job done.
Prediction: Jacksonville 26, Indianapolis 16.

Detroit Lions (6-5) vs Baltimore Ravens (6-5)- 1:00, FOX: Detroit is coming off a tough Thanksgiving day divisional home loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Baltimore is coming off a Monday night home win over the Houston Texans. This is a big game and the winner of this game will still be relatively alive in its conferences playoff hunt and I believe that will be the Ravens.
Prediction: Baltimore 23, Detroit 17.

Cleveland Browns (0-11) vs Los Angeles Chargers (5-6)- 4:05, CBS: Cleveland is coming off a divisional road loss in Cincinnati against the Bengals. Los Angeles is coming off a huge Thanksgiving road win in Arlington against the Cowboys to keep their playoff hopes alive. Those playoff lives will stay alive another week as the Bolts get back to the .500 mark against the leagues worst team.
Prediction: Los Angeles 36, Cleveland 13.

Los Angeles Rams (8-3) vs Arizona Cardinals (5-6)- 4:25, FOX: Los Angeles is coming off a big time home win over the New Orleans Saints. Arizona is coming off a home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Cardinals will give the Rams all they can handle here, but I like the Rams in a close one on the road.
Prediction: Los Angeles 26, Arizona 24.

New York Giants (2-9) vs Oakland Raiders (5-6)- 4:25, FOX: New York is coming off a Thanksgiving night divisional road loss in Landover against the Redskins. Oakland is coming off a divisional home win against the Giants. The Giants made a very dumb decision to bench Eli Manning for Geno Smith and because of that, the Raiders will take advantage of it to get back to .500 and not only that, the Raiders are my lock of the week.
Prediction: Oakland 30, New York 10.

Carolina Panthers (8-3) vs New Orleans Saints (8-3)- 4:25, FOX: This is such a great game. Carolina is coming off a road win in East Rutherford against the Jets. New Orleans is coming off a tough road loss in Los Angeles against the Rams. This was a hard call, but give me the Panthers to snag the road win as the Saints have some injuries on their defense that I can see the Panthers taking advantage of.
Prediction: Carolina 27, New Orleans 24.

Philadelphia Eagles (10-1) vs Seattle Seahawks (7-4)- 8:30, NBC: Philadelphia is coming off a home win over the Chicago Bears. Seattle is coming off a divisional road win in Santa Clara against the 49ers. This is perhaps the most intriguing game of week and the Seahawks haven't been a home underdog of this margin in a long time and because of that, they'll be motivated and for the first time in nearly three months, the Eagles will suffer a defeat.
Prediction: Seattle 26, Philadelphia 20.

Monday, December 4th
Pittsburgh Steelers (9-2) vs Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)- 8:30, ESPN: Pittsburgh is coming off a Sunday night home win over the Green Bay Packers in which Chris Boswell kicked a field goal as time expired. Cincinnati is coming off a divisional home win over the Cleveland Browns. I can see the Bengals winning this game and make a case the Steelers are due for a clunker, but I can't trust Andy Dalton in primetime games unless they are against subpar opponents so give me the Steelers here on the road in a close one.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 20, Cincinnati 17.

2017 College Football Weeks 14&15: Picks

Here are my picks for weeks fourteen and fifteen of the 2017 College Football season.

Friday, December 1st
(12) Stanford (9-3; 7-2) vs (11) USC (10-2; 8-1)- 8:00, ESPN (Santa Clara): This should be a fun Pac-12 title game. There are a ton of stars in this game such as Sam Darnold and Bryce Love. The Trojans won this matchup earlier in the season and if they get a win, they'll likely head to a New Years Six bowl, but if there are crazy upsets that create chaos, the College Football Playoff isn't impossible for this team. Give me the Trojans in a close one here but lets say they head to a New Years Six bowl.
Pick: USC

Saturday, December 2nd
(20) Memphis (10-1; 7-1) at (14) UCF (11-0; 8-0)- 12:00, ABC: This is a tremendous game for the AAC title game. The winner of this game is likely heading to a New Years Six bowl game. Expect a ton of points in this game and I like the Knights on their home field to remain unbeaten and reach a New Years Six bowl.
Pick: UCF

Akron (7-5; 6-2) vs Toledo (10-2; 7-1)- 12:00, ESPN (Detroit): This should be a fun MAC title game with a ton of points. The Rockets are the better team here so they'll take this one, although the Zips will be competitive throughout.
Pick: Toledo

North Texas (9-3; 7-1) at FAU (9-3; 8-0)- 12:00, ESPN2: This is a sneaky good C-USA title game. The Mean Green have become a better team since getting blown out in Boca Raton a month and a half ago and I believe they'll be competitive with the Owls here, but will fall short.
Pick: FAU

Massachusetts (4-7) at FIU (7-4; 5-3)- 12:00
Pick: FIU

Louisiana-Monroe (4-7; 4-4) at Florida State (5-6; 3-5)- 12:00, ACCN: This could very well be Jimbo Fisher's final game as head coach of the Seminoles and I believe Fisher's team will play hard for him here and become bowl eligible.
Pick: Florida State

(11) TCU (10-2; 7-2) vs (3) Oklahoma (11-1; 8-1)- 12:30, FOX (Arlington): This should be a good Big-12 title game that's finally being brought back for the first time since 2010. The Sooners will almost certainly be in the College Football playoff here with a win and I believe they'll get that win led by Heisman Trophy favorite Baker Mayfield in a close one over a well-coached Horned Frog team.
Pick: Oklahoma

Georgia Southern (2-9; 2-5) at Coastal Carolina (2-9; 1-6)- 1:00, ESPN3
Pick: Coastal Carolina

Idaho (3-8; 2-5) at Georgia State (6-4; 5-2)- 2:00, ESPN3
Pick: Georgia State

Louisiana-Lafayette (5-6; 4-3) at Appalachian State (7-4; 6-1)- 2:30, ESPN3
Pick: Appalachian State

(6) Georgia (11-1; 7-1) vs (2) Auburn (10-2; 7-1)- 4:00, CBS (Atlanta): This is arguably the most fascinating game of the weekend and it could also impact whether 1-loss Alabama makes it in or not as well depending in this outcome. That said, I like the Tigers to win this one (sans the injury to Kerryon Johnson) to become the first two loss team to ever make the College Football playoff.
Pick: Auburn

South Alabama (4-7; 3-4) at New Mexico State (5-6; 3-4)- 4:30, ESPN3: The Aggies become bowl eligible here with a win.
Pick: New Mexico State

Troy (9-2; 6-1) at Arkansas State (7-3; 6-1)- 7:30, ESPN2: This is a sneaky good game in the Sun Belt in which you can make a case these are the conferences best two teams. I like the Red Wolves here at home.
Pick: Arkansas State

(25) Fresno State (9-3; 7-1) at Boise State (9-3; 7-1)- 7:45, ESPN: This is a really good MWC title game. These teams played last weekend and the Bulldogs won. I like the Broncos in the rematch on the Smurf Turf.
Pick: Boise State

(7) Miami (11-1; 7-1) vs (1) Clemson (11-1; 7-1)- 8:00, ABC (Charlotte): This is a very good ACC title game we got here. ESPN's College GameDay will be on hand and the winner of this game is likely headed to the College Football Playoff. The Hurricanes, despite some key injuries on the offensive side of the ball will give the Tigers a game as their defense will keep them in it but I like the Tigers to reach the College Football Playoff for the third season in a row.
Pick: Clemson

(8) Ohio State (10-2; 7-1) vs (4) Wisconsin (12-0; 8-0)- 8:00, FOX (Indianapolis): This is another enticing game as well and the winner of this game is likely heading to the College Football playoff as well. But this is a tricky call because I'm taking the Buckeyes here and JT Barrett may not be healthy. Also, if the Buckeyes win, it's not a slam dunk that they'll be in unlike the Badgers if they win.
Pick: Ohio State

2017 NFL Week 12 Picks

Here are my picks for week twelve of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday, November 23rd
Minnesota Vikings (8-2) vs Detroit Lions (6-4)- 12:30, FOX: Minnesota is coming off a big time home win over the Los Angeles Rams. Detroit is coming off a divisional road win in Chicago against the Bears. This was a tough call, but give me the Lions in a close one at home.
Prediction: Detroit 26, Minnesota 23.

Los Angeles Chargers (4-6) vs Dallas Cowboys (5-5)- 4:30, CBS: Los Angeles is coming off a blowout home win over the Buffalo Bills. Dallas is coming off an awful Sunday night divisional home loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Chargers are favored here solely because of Ezekiel Elliott's suspension, but the Chargers have a habit of finding ways to lose games and I say this is one of those games as Dak Prescott bounces back from a rough two games.
Prediction: Dallas 27, Los Angeles 24.

New York Giants (2-8) vs Washington Redskins (4-6)- 8:30, NBC: New York is coming off an overtime home win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Washington is coming off a brutal road loss in New Orleans against the Saints in which they blew a double digit lead in. I like the Redskins here to bounce back and take advantage of a bad Giant team riddled with injuries although the Redskins are banged up as well.
Prediction: Washington 27, New York 20.

Sunday, November 26th
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-6) vs Atlanta Falcons (6-4)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a road win in Miami against the Dolphins. Atlanta is coming off a huge road win in Seattle against the Seahawks. Jameis Winston is still out and even if he was healthy, I'd pick the Falcons.
Prediction: Atlanta 33, Tampa Bay 20.

Cleveland Browns (0-10) vs Cincinnati Bengals (4-6)- 1:00, CBS: Cleveland is coming off a home loss against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Cincinnati is coming off a road win in Denver against the Broncos. The Bengals have owned the Browns of late and that continues here.
Prediction: Cincinnati 34, Cleveland 16.

Tennessee Titans (6-4) vs Indianapolis Colts (3-7)- 1:00, CBS: Tennessee is coming off a Thursday night road loss in Pittsburgh against the Steelers in which the game was close until after halftime. Indianapolis is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost a close game at home against the Steelers. I like the Titans to bounce back here against a not so good Colt team.
Prediction: Tennessee 27, Indianapolis 19.

Buffalo Bills (5-5) vs Kansas City Chiefs (6-4)- 1:00, CBS: Buffalo is coming off a disastrous road loss in Los Angeles against the Chargers in which the Bills made a huge mistake in starting Nathan Peterman over Tyrod Taylor. Kansas City is coming off a brutal road loss in East Rutherford against the than one-win New York Giants. I like the Chiefs to bounce back here at home.
Prediction: Kansas City 23, Buffalo 17.

Miami Dolphins (4-6) vs New England Patriots (8-2)- 1:00, CBS: Miami is coming off a home loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in which Jay Cutler was benched in. New England is coming off yet another dominant win in Mexico City against the Oakland Raiders. The Pats defense has improved big time although they haven't faced that many great offenses and the Pats offense is rolling too and because of that and the Dolphins quarterback situation, the Pats are my lock of the week.
Prediction: New England 38, Miami 16.

Carolina Panthers (7-3) vs New York Jets (4-6)- 1:00, FOX: Carolina is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they had a dominant Monday night home win over the Miami Dolphins. New York is coming off their bye too and two weeks ago they lost in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers. The Panthers are the much better team here and they'll win comfortably.
Prediction: Carolina 33, New York 20.

Chicago Bears (3-7) vs Philadelphia Eagles (9-1)- 1:00, FOX: Chicago is coming off a divisional home loss against the Detroit Lions. Philadelphia is coming off a flat out dominant Sunday night divisional road win in Arlington against the reeling Cowboys. The Eagles are just rolling right now so give me them to take their ninth straight.
Prediction: Philadelphia 34, Chicago 16.

Seattle Seahawks (6-4) vs San Francisco 49ers (1-9)- 4:05, FOX: Seattle is coming off a brutal Monday night home loss against the Atlanta Falcons in which Blair Walsh missed a potential game-tying field goal. San Francisco is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they beat the New York Giants at home. Don't rule out the Niners keeping this game close, but I like the Seahawks to bounce back.
Prediction: Seattle 23, San Francisco 13.

Jacksonville Jaguars (7-3) vs Arizona Cardinals (4-6)- 4:25, CBS: Jacksonville is coming off a road win in Cleveland against the winless Browns. Arizona is coming off a tough road loss in Houston against the Texans. The Jags almost got tripped up last week against the Browns, so I'm gonna say they get knocked off here by the Cardinals despite the fact Blaine Gabbert is starting for the Cards, who used to be the quarterback of the Jags before Blake Bortles.
Prediction: Arizona 27, Jacksonville 23.

Denver Broncos (3-7) vs Oakland Raiders (4-6)- 4:25, CBS: Denver is coming off a home loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. Oakland is coming off a disastrous loss in Mexico City against the New England Patriots. The Raiders fired their defensive coordinator and it will work for at least one week as the Broncos are starting Paxton Lynch this week.
Prediction: Oakland 30, Denver 20.

New Orleans Saints (8-2) vs Los Angeles Rams (7-3)- 4:25, CBS: Who had this game being one of this NFL seasons biggest before the season? Certainly not me. New Orleans is coming off a comeback home win over the Washington Redskins. Los Angeles is coming off a disappointing loss in Minneapolis against the Vikings. This game has the makings of a good one and give me the Rams at home to bounce back.
Prediction: Los Angeles 27, New Orleans 24.

Green Bay Packers (5-5) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (8-2)- 8:30, NBC: Green Bay is coming off a brutal shutout home loss against the Baltimore Ravens. Pittsburgh is coming off a Thursday night home win against the Tennessee Titans in which they pulled away late. This game would have been much more enticing if Aaron Rodgers was playing and now it's not. Give me the Steelers big here.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 36, Green Bay 19.

Monday November 27th
Houston Texans (4-6) vs Baltimore Ravens (5-5)- 8:30, ESPN: This game would have been more interesting if DeShaun Watson was not hurt. Houston is coming off a home win over the Arizona Cardinals. Baltimore is coming off a shutout road win in Green Bay against the Packers. The Ravens defense is outstanding and give me them here to shut down Tom Savage and the Texans offense.
Prediction: Baltimore 23, Houston 16.

2017 College Football Week 13: Picks

Here are my picks for week thirteen of the 2017 College Football season.

Tuesday, November 21st
Bowling Green (2-9; 2-5) at Eastern Michigan (4-7; 2-5)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: Eastern Michigan

Kent State (2-9; 1-6) at Akron (6-5; 5-2)- 7:00, ESPNU
Pick: Akron

Miami-Ohio (4-7; 3-4) at Ball State (2-9; 0-7)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: Miami-Ohio

Thursday, November 23rd
Ole Miss (5-6; 2-5) at (14) Mississippi State (8-3; 4-3)- 7:30, ESPN
Pick: Mississippi State

Friday, November 24th
Western Michigan (6-5; 4-3) at Toledo (9-2; 6-1)- 11:30, ESPNU: The Rockets need this game (or a Northern Illinois Huskies loss) if they want to secure a spot in the MAC championship.
Pick: Toledo

(2) Miami (10-0; 7-0) at Pittsburgh (4-7; 2-5) 12:00, ABC: This will be a much closer game than the experts think, but the Canes will pull it out.
Pick: Miami

Baylor (1-10; 1-7) at (12) TCU (9-2; 6-2)- 12:00, FS1
Pick: TCU

Northern Illinois (8-3; 6-1) at Central Michigan (7-4; 5-2)- 12:00, CBSSN: This is a sneaky good game. I like the Chippewas here at home because I think the Huskies will be scoreboard watching with the Rockets of Toledo playing at the same time.
Pick: Central Michigan

Navy (6-4; 4-3) at Houston (6-4; 4-3)- 12:00, ESPN
Pick: Houston

Ohio (8-3; 5-2) at Buffalo (5-6; 3-4)- 1:00, ESPN3: The Bulls need this one to get to a bowl and I believe they'll get it against a Bobcat team that lost a tiebreaker to the Akron Zips for the right to play in the MAC Championship game.
Pick: Buffalo

Missouri (6-5; 3-4) at Arkansas (4-7; 1-6)- 2:30, CBS
Pick: Missouri

South Florida (9-1; 6-1) at (15) UCF (10-0; 7-0)- 3:30, ABC: The winner of this game will head to the AAC title game and this is arguably the best game of the day. Give me the Knights at home over a Bulls team that isn't as good as we expected before the season despite only having one loss.
Pick: UCF

New Mexico (3-8; 1-6) at San Diego State (9-2; 6-2)- 3:30, CBSSN
Pick: San Diego State

Texas State (2-9; 1-6) at Troy (8-2; 5-1)- 4:00, ESPN3
Pick: Troy

Iowa (6-5; 3-5) at Nebraska (4-7; 3-5)- 4:00, FS1
Pick: Nebraska

WKU (6-5; 4-3) at FIU (6-4; 4-3)- 7:00
Pick: FIU

(25) Virginia Tech (8-3; 4-3) at Virginia (6-5; 3-4)- 8:00, ESPN: The Cavs have lost four of their last five games, but I like them here at home to knock off the Hokies.
Pick: Virginia

Texas Tech (5-6; 2-6) at Texas (6-5; 5-3)- 8:00, FOX: The Red Raiders need this one to get to bowl eligibility, but I think the Longhorns at home are the right pick.
Pick: Texas

California (5-6; 2-6) at UCLA (5-6; 3-5)- 10:30, FS1: The winner of this game becomes bowl eligibility and that will be the Bruins.
Pick: UCLA

Saturday, November 25th
(7) Georgia (10-1; 7-1) at Georgia Tech (5-5; 4-4)- 12:00, ABC: The Yellow Jackets will keep this game much closer than the experts think as the Bulldogs will be looking ahead to the SEC title game against the Iron Bowl winner.
Pick: Georgia

(9) Ohio State (9-2; 7-1) at Michigan (8-3; 5-3)- 12:00, FOX: It's crazy to call The Game a trap game for the Buckeyes, but it could be. I still like them to win this one as the Wolverines will keep this close.
Pick: Ohio State

Kansas (1-10; 0-8) at (19) Oklahoma State (8-3; 5-3)- 12:00, FS1

Pick: UNLV

(1) Alabama (11-0; 7-0) at (6) Auburn (8-2; 6-1)- 3:30, CBS: Clearly the best game of the weekend right here. The Iron Bowl is always fun, especially when it's in Auburn. I have a funny feeling that the Tigers hand the Tide their first loss of the season and cost them a chance to make the College Football Playoff perhaps.
Pick: Auburn

(5) Wisconsin (11-0; 8-0) at Minnesota (5-6; 2-6)- 3:30, ABC: The Golden Gophers can become bowl eligible here with a win, but I'm gonna say the Badgers avoid the look ahead...... barely.

Pick: Louisiana Tech

(8) Notre Dame (9-2) at (21) Stanford (8-3; 7-2)- 8:00, ABC: The Cardinal might not have Bryce Love and if Love does not play, this pick will change. The Cardinal need the Washington Huskies to win to get to the Pac-12 title game regardless of what happens in this game.

2017 NFL Week 11 Picks

Here are my picks for week eleven of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday, November 16th
Tennessee Titans (6-3) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2)- 8:30, NBC: Tennessee is coming off a home win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Pittsburgh is coming off a road win in Indianapolis against the Colts. The Titans 6-3 is soft and nearly lost last week and almost lost to the Browns a few weeks ago, so give me the Steelers at home by double digits.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 30, Tennessee 17.

Sunday, November 19th
Detroit Lions (5-4) vs Chicago Bears (3-6)- 1:00, FOX: Detroit is coming off a home win against the winless Cleveland Browns. Chicago is coming off a divisional home loss against the Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay Packers. I like the Lions here on the road and John Fox's seat will get warmer in Chicago.
Prediction: Detroit 27, Chicago 16.

Baltimore Ravens (4-5) vs Green Bay Packers (5-4)- 1:00, CBS: Baltimore is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost in Tennessee against the Titans. Green Bay is coming off a divisional road win in Chicago against the Bears. I like the Packers here at home sans the fact that it's Brett Hundley not Aaron Rodgers.
Prediction: Green Bay 19, Baltimore 16.

Jacksonville Jaguars (6-3) vs Cleveland Browns (0-10)- 1:00, CBS: Jacksonville is coming off an overtime home win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Cleveland is coming off a road loss in Detroit against the Lions. Don't rule out the possibility of the Browns getting their first win here, but I'm going to say that the Jags win barely and avoid the trap.
Prediction: Jacksonville 23, Cleveland 20.

Arizona Cardinals (4-5) vs Houston Texans (3-6)- 1:00, FOX: Arizona is coming off a Thursday night divisional loss against the Seahawks. Houston is coming off a road loss in Los Angeles against the Rams. This game will possibly see Blaine Gabbert start due to Drew Stanton being injured and than you have Tom Savage starting for the Texans. So expect a low scoring affair here and give me the Texans at home due the Cards uncertainty of who's starting.
Prediction: Houston 16, Arizona 13.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-6) vs Miami Dolphins (4-5)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a home win over the New York Jets. Miami is coming off a disastrous Monday night road loss in Charlotte against the Panthers. This game is going to be an ugly game and give me the Dolphins at home solely because Jay Cutler is better than Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Prediction: Miami 20, Tampa Bay 16.

Los Angeles Rams (7-2) vs Minnesota Vikings (7-2)- 1:00, FOX: This game is the best of the early games. Los Angeles is coming off another dominant home win over the Houston Texans. Minnesota is coming off a nice road win in Washington against the Redskins. This was a tough call, but I like the Vikings at home in a close one.
Prediction: Minnesota 26, Los Angeles 24.

Washington Redskins (4-5) vs New Orleans Saints (7-2)- 1:00, FOX: Washington is coming off a tough home loss against the Minnesota Vikings. New Orleans is coming off a dominant road win in Orchard Park against the Bills. The Saints are just flat out rolling right now and I believe they'll win their eighth straight here and they're my lock of the week.
Prediction: New Orleans 34, Washington 20.

Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) vs New York Giants (1-8)- 1:00, CBS: Kansas City is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost in Arlington against the Cowboys. New York is coming off yet another bad loss this time in Santa Clara against the than winless 49ers. There's not a bigger mess in football and heck even in sports right now than the Giants and the Chiefs will take advantage of it.
Prediction: Kansas City 37, New York 20.

Buffalo Bills (5-4) vs Los Angeles Chargers (3-6)- 4:05, CBS: Buffalo is coming off a disastrous home loss against the red hot New Orleans Saints. Los Angeles is coming off a brutal overtime road loss in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. Tyrod Taylor was benched for Nate Peterman and I don't agree with that move at all. Give me the Chargers at home because the problem isn't or wasn't Taylor, the Bills defense hasn't been good at all the last two weeks.
Prediction: Los Angeles 30, Buffalo 16.

Cincinnati Bengals (3-6) vs Denver Broncos (3-6)- 4:25, CBS: This game would have been more intriguing two months ago and now it doesn't look like a good one. Cincinnati is coming off a road loss in Tennessee against the Titans. Denver is coming off a bad Sunday night home loss against the New England Patriots. Expect a low scoring and close game here and I like the Broncos at home.
Prediction: Denver 20, Cincinnati 17.

New England Patriots (7-2) vs Oakland Raiders (4-5)- 4:25, CBS (Mexico City): This should be a fun one. New England is coming off a great Sunday night road win in Denver against the Broncos. Oakland is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they won a Sunday night game in Miami against the Dolphins. The Pats are just the better team here and I like them here in a close one.
Prediction: New England 30, Oakland 24.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) vs Dallas Cowboys (5-4)- 8:30, NBC: Philadelphia is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they won convincingly over the Denver Broncos. Dallas is coming off a bad road loss in Atlanta against the Falcons. The Cowboys clearly miss Ezekiel Elliott and the Eagles, who are deserving favorites here will take advantage.
Prediction: Philadelphia 27, Dallas 23.

Monday, November 20th
Atlanta Falcons (5-4) vs Seattle Seahawks (6-3)- 8:30, ESPN: Atlanta is coming off a huge home win over the Dallas Cowboys. Seattle is coming off a Thursday night divisional win in Glendale against the Cardinals, but that came at a cost as the team lost Richard Sherman for the season due to an Achilles injury. The Falcons might be missing DeVonta Freeman this week due to a concussion too. Give me the Seahawks at home.
Prediction: Seattle 26, Atlanta 19.

Pick: TCU

(15) UCF (9-0; 6-0) at Temple (5-5; 3-3)- 12:00, ESPNU: The Owls are a win shy of becoming bowl eligible and the Knights are looking to stay ahead of the South Florida Bulls ahead of their big matchup next week that determines the AAC East title. I like the Knights on the road although it will be closer than the experts think.
Pick: UCF

2017 NFL Week 10 Picks

Here are my picks for week ten of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday, November 9th
Seattle Seahawks (5-3) vs Arizona Cardinals (4-4)- 8:25, NBC/NFLN: Seattle is coming off a disappointing home loss against the Washington Redskins. Arizona is coming off a divisional road win in Santa Clara against the 49ers. Expect a low scoring game and I think the Seahawk defense will make stops and Russell Wilson will make plays down the stretch en route to a win.
Prediction: Seattle 16, Arizona 13.

Sunday, November 12th
New Orleans Saints (6-2) vs Buffalo Bills (5-3)- 1:00, FOX: I'm actually looking forward to this one. New Orleans is coming off a divisional home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Buffalo is coming off a bad Thursday night divisional road loss in East Rutherford against the Jets. This has the makings of a trap game for the Saints, so give me the Bills at home.
Prediction: Buffalo 24, New Orleans 20.

Green Bay Packers (4-4) vs Chicago Bears (3-5)- 1:00, FOX: Green Bay is coming off a Monday night divisional home loss against the Detroit Lions. Chicago is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost in New Orleans against the Saints although they were competitive. This game is going to be awful considering the Pack don't have Aaron Rodgers and that said I like the Bears in a close one at home.
Prediction: Chicago 16, Green Bay 13.

Cleveland Browns (0-8) vs Detroit Lions (4-4)- 1:00, CBS: Cleveland is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they lost in London against the Minnesota Vikings. Detroit is coming off a big Monday night divisional road win in Lambeau against the Packers granted the Pack didn't have Aaron Rodgers. That said, the Lions showed me a lot in that game last week against because of that, they're my lock of the week.
Prediction: Detroit 33, Cleveland 16.

Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2) vs Indianapolis Colts (3-6)- 1:00, CBS: Pittsburgh is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they won a Sunday night game in Detroit against the Lions. Indianapolis is coming off a road win in Houston against the Texans and that was solely because DeShaun Watson tore his ACL last week in practice and is now out for the season. I love the Steelers here on the road.
Prediction: Pittsburgh 34, Indianapolis 16.

Los Angeles Chargers (3-5) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (5-3)- 1:00, CBS: Los Angeles is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they lost in Foxboro against the Patriots. Jacksonville is coming off a home win over the Cincinnati Bengals sans no Leonard Fournette due to a last minute suspension. Fournette is back and I believe the Jags will win a close one here.
Prediction: Jacksonville 26, Los Angeles 23.

New York Jets (4-5) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-6)- 1:00, CBS: The funny storyline here is that Josh McCown used to be a Buccaneer and Ryan Fitzpatrick used to be a Jet. Now they face their former teams. New York is coming off a great Thursday night divisional home win over the Buffalo Bills. Tampa Bay is coming off a divisional road loss in New Orleans against the Saints. Fitzpatrick is starting for the injured Jameis Winston and that said, give me the Jets to even up their record.
Prediction: New York 20, Tampa Bay 16.

Cincinnati Bengals (3-5) vs Tennessee Titans (3-5)- 1:00, FOX: Cincinnati is coming off a road loss in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. Tennessee is coming off a home win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans are the better team and they should beat the underachieving Bengals at home.
Prediction: Tennessee 24, Cincinnati 16.

Minnesota Vikings (6-2) vs Washington Redskins (4-4)- 1:00, FOX: Minnesota is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they won in London over the Cleveland Browns. Washington is coming off a big time road win in Seattle against the Seahawks. The Skins have momentum right now and I like them here at home to end the Vikes winning streak.
Prediction: Washington 23, Minnesota 20.

Houston Texans (3-5) vs Los Angeles Rams (6-2)- 4:05, CBS: This game would have been a must watch had DeShaun Watson not gotten injured. Houston is coming off a bad divisional home loss against the Indianapolis Colts. Los Angeles is coming off a convincing road win in East Rutherford against the Giants. The Rams are on a roll right now and I love them here to win again against the Watson-less Texans.
Prediction: Los Angeles 33, Houston 10.

New York Giants (1-7) vs San Francisco 49ers (0-9)- 4:25, FOX: This game could very well determine the number two and three picks in next years draft. New York is coming off a very hideous loss at home against the Los Angeles Rams. San Francisco is coming off a divisional home loss against the Arizona Cardinals. I was going to pick the Niners and make a case that the Giants will be disinterested against sans all the turmoil going on, but than I realized that CJ Beathard was their quarterback, so give me the Giants in an ugly game.
Prediction: New York 23, San Francisco 13.

Dallas Cowboys (5-3) vs Atlanta Falcons (4-4)- 4:25, FOX: Dallas is coming off a big time home win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Atlanta is coming off a brutal divisional road loss in Charlotte against the Panthers. Sans no Ezekiel Elliott (finally), I like the Boys to get the road win against a Falcon team that might just free fall.
Prediction: Dallas 27, Atlanta 24.

New England Patriots (6-2) vs Denver Broncos (3-5)- 8:30, NBC: New England is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they won at home against the Los Angeles Chargers. Denver is coming off an awful road loss in Philadelphia against the Eagles. I have a feeling that this game will be a lot closer than the experts think and I like the Pats barely and don't rule out the Broncos winning this one.
Prediction: New England 23, Denver 16.

Monday, November 13th
Miami Dolphins (4-4) vs Carolina Panthers (6-3)- 8:30, ESPN: Miami is coming off a Sunday night home loss against the Oakland Raiders. Carolina is coming off a big divisional home win over the Atlanta Falcons. I think both teams are worse than their records indicate, but the Panthers should win this one at home.
Prediction: Carolina 27, Miami 16.

Pick: Western Michigan

Toledo (8-1; 5-0) at Ohio (7-2; 4-1)- 7:00, ESPN2: Here we have a possible MAC Championship preview. This should be a fun and entertaining game with a ton of points scored and I like the Bobcats at home.
Pick: Ohio

Eastern Michigan (3-6; 1-4) at Central Michigan (5-4; 3-2)- 8:00, ESPNU
Pick: Central Michigan

Thursday, November 9th
Ball State (2-7; 0-5) at Northern Illinois (6-3; 4-1)- 7:00, CBSSN
Pick: Northern Illinois

Georgia Southern (0-8; 0-4) at Appalachian State (5-4; 4-1)- 7:30, ESPNU
Pick: Appalachian State

North Carolina (1-8; 0-6) at Pittsburgh (4-5; 2-3)- 8:00, ESPN
Pick: Pittsburgh

Friday, November 10th
Temple (4-5; 2-3) at Cincinnati (3-6; 1-4)- 7:00, ESPN2
Pick: Cincinnati

Washington (8-1; 5-1) at Stanford (6-3; 5-2)- 10:30, FS1: This is a big game here in the Pac-12 and the winner of this game could very well head to the Pac-12 Championship Game. With Bryce Love back and healthy, give me the Cardinal at home.
Pick: Stanford

BYU (2-8) at UNLV (4-5; 3-3)- 10:30, ESPN2
Pick: UNLV

Saturday, November 11th
(12) Michigan State (7-2; 5-1) at (13) Ohio State (7-2; 5-1)- 12:00, FOX: This game would have been much more enticing had the Buckeyes had beaten Iowa last weekend. But nope, although it will still be a good game. Give me the Buckeyes in a close one at home.
Pick: Ohio State

Rutgers (4-5; 3-3) at (14) Penn State (7-2; 4-2)- 12:00, BTN
Pick: Penn State

(15) Oklahoma State (7-2; 4-2) at (21) Iowa State (6-3; 4-2)- 12:00, ABC/ESPN2: This should be a fun Big-12 game. I just feel the Cowboys are flat out the better team here and they should pull away late in this game against an improved Cyclones team.
Pick: Oklahoma State

Connecticut (3-6; 2-4) at (18) UCF (8-0; 5-0)- 12:00, ESPNU
Pick: UCF

(23) North Carolina State (6-3; 4-1) at Boston College (5-4; 3-3)- 12:00, ABC/ESPN2: This is another big game. The Eagles with a win here would clinch a bowl berth, but I'm gonna say that the Wolf Pack get a nice road win against an improved Eagles team.
Pick: North Carolina State

Arkansas (4-5; 1-4) at (24) LSU (6-3; 3-2)- 12:00, ESPN
Pick: LSU

Duke (4-5; 1-5) at Army (7-2)- 12:00, CBSSN
Pick: Army

Texas Tech (4-5; 1-5) vs Baylor (1-8; 1-5)- (Arlington); 12:00, FSN
Pick: Texas Tech

Louisiana (4-4; 3-2) at Ole Miss (4-5; 2-4)- 12:00, SECN
Pick: Ole Miss

Florida (3-5; 3-4) at South Carolina (6-3; 4-3)- 12:00, CBS
Pick: South Carolina

Indiana (3-6; 0-6) at Illinois (2-7; 0-6)- 12:00, BTN
Pick: Indiana

Nebraska (4-5; 3-3) at Minnesota (4-5; 1-5)- 12:00, FS1
Pick: Minnesota

Virginia Tech (7-2; 3-2) at Georgia Tech (4-4; 3-3)- 12:20, ACCN
Pick: Virginia Tech

Middle Tennessee (4-5; 2-3) at Charlotte (1-8; 1-5)- 2:00
Pick: Middle Tennessee

Wake Forest (5-4; 2-3) at Syracuse (4-5; 2-3)- 3:00, ACCN
Pick: Syracuse

(1) Georgia (9-0; 6-0) at (10) Auburn (7-2; 5-1)- 3:30, CBS: This is going to be a great game. The Bulldogs are a deserving favorite, but I like the Tigers here at home to hand the 'Dogs their first loss.
Pick: Auburn

Florida State (3-5; 3-4) at (4) Clemson (8-1; 6-1)- 3:30, ESPN: It's sad that this game wasn't played in August when everyone thought both of these teams were perceived as National Championship contenders.
Pick: Clemson

(20) Iowa (6-3; 3-3) at (8) Wisconsin (9-0; 6-0)- 3:30, ABC: The Huskies resume will look better if they get a win here and I believe they will as the Hawkeyes will have a letdown after a big win.
Pick: Wisconsin

Virginia (6-3; 3-2) at Louisville (5-4; 2-4) 3:30, ESPNU
Pick: Louisville

Michigan (7-2; 4-2) at Maryland (4-5; 3-3)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Michigan

West Virginia (6-3; 4-2) at Kansas State (5-4; 3-3)- 3:30, ESPN2: If Jesse Ertz was playing and was 100%, I'd pick the Wildcats here. But, due to the fact Ertz isn't healthy, give me the Mountaineers in a close one.
Pick: West Virginia

SMU (5-3; 3-3) at Navy (6-2; 3-1)- 3:30, CBSSN
Pick: Navy

FAU (6-3; 5-0) at Louisiana Tech (4-5; 2-3)- 3:30
Pick: FAU

Southern Miss (5-4; 3-2) at Rice (1-8; 1-4)- 3:30
Pick: Southern Miss

(11) USC (8-2; 6-1) at Colorado (5-5; 2-5)- 4:00, FOX: Don't be surprised if this one is closer than the experts think.
Pick: USC

Maine (4-3; 3-3) vs Massachusetts (2-7)- (Boston); 4:00
Pick: Massachusetts

Georgia State (5-3; 4-1) at Texas State (2-7; 1-4)- 4:00, ESPN3

Pick: Arkansas State

UTEP (0-9; 0-5) at North Texas (6-3; 5-1)- 5:00, ESPN3
Pick: North Texas

(19) Washington State (8-2; 5-2) at Utah (5-4; 2-4)- 5:30, Pac-12N
Pick: Utah

Kansas (1-8; 0-6) at Texas (4-5; 3-3)- 6:00, Longhorn Network
Pick: Texas

WKU (5-4; 3-2) at Marshall (6-3; 3-2)- 6:30
Pick: Marshall

(2) Alabama (9-0; 6-0) at (16) Mississippi State (7-2; 3-2)- 7:00, ESPN: This game is fascinating. The Tide have a ton of injuries right now especially on defense, but I'm gonna say that they still find a way although Nick Fitzgerald will keep the Bulldogs in is one.
Pick: Alabama

Purdue (4-5; 2-4) at (25) Northwestern (6-3; 4-2)- 7:00, ESPN2
Pick: Northwestern

UAB (6-3; 4-2) at UTSA (5-3; 2-3)- 7:00

Pick: Missouri

(3) Notre Dame (8-1) at (8) Miami (8-0; 6-0)- 8:00, ABC: The winner of this game could very well be heading to the College Football playoff. Expect a hard fought game and I like the Irish here on the road although the Canes defense will keep them in this game.
Pick: Notre Dame

(6) TCU (8-1; 5-1) at (3) Oklahoma (8-1; 5-1)- 8:00, FOX: This is a huge game that can help determine a College Football Playoff spot and these teams could very well meet in the Big-12 title game as well. Give me Baker Mayfield (who is the Heisman favorite right now) to lead the way for the Sooners.
Pick: Oklahoma

Arizona State (5-4; 4-2) at UCLA (4-5; 2-4)- 9:30, Pac-12N: Josh Rosen may not play and the Bruins are not good without him. Give me the Sun Devils on the road since Rosen isn't 100% and he might not play again this week.
Pick: Arizona State

Oregon State (1-8; 0-6) at Arizona (6-3; 4-2)- 10:00, ESPN2
Pick: Arizona

Wyoming (6-3; 4-1) at Air Force (4-5; 3-2)- 10:15, ESPNU
Pick: Air Force

Boise State (7-2; 5-0) at Colorado State (6-4; 4-2)- 10:30, CBSSN: This is a sneaky good game. The Rams have a real shot here to hand the Broncos their first conference loss, but I like the Broncos on the road in a close one.
Pick: Boise State

Fresno State (6-3; 4-1) at Hawaii (3-6; 1-5)- 11:59
Pick: Fresno State

2017 NFL Week 9 Picks

Here are my picks for week nine of the 2017 NFL season.

Thursday, November 2nd
Buffalo Bills (5-2) vs New York Jets (3-5)- 8:25, NFLN: Buffalo is coming off a big home win over the Oakland Raiders. New York is coming off a tough home loss against the Atlanta Falcons. I wanted to pick the Jets here and make a case for a letdown/trap game for the Bills, but with the acquisition of Kelvin Benjamin and he very well may play (which I think he will), I'm taking the Bills here on the road.
Prediction: Buffalo 27, NY Jets 20.

Sunday, November 5th
Atlanta Falcons (4-3) vs Carolina Panthers (5-3)- 1:00, FOX: Atlanta is coming off a much needed road win in East Rutherford against the Jets. Carolina is coming off a divisional road win in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers. With the Panthers trading Kelvin Benjamin away, their offense is worse now so give me Matt Ryan and the Falcons on the road.
Prediction: Atlanta 24, Carolina 16.

Indianapolis Colts (2-6) vs Houston Texans (3-4)- 1:00, CBS: Indianapolis is coming off a road loss in Cincinnati against the Bengals. Houston is coming off a tough road loss in Seattle against the Seahawks. The Texans are much better than their 3-4 record and that will show here and also, the Texans are my lock of the week.
Prediction: Houston 37, Indianapolis 16.

Cincinnati Bengals (3-4) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (4-3)- 1:00, CBS: Cincinnati is coming off a home win over the Indianapolis Colts. Jacksonville is coming off their bye and two weeks ago, they won in Indianapolis over the Colts. The Jags defense is outstanding and it got even better with the trade for Marcell Darius and I expect the Jags defense to force Andy Dalton into turnovers to lead them to a win.
Prediction: Jacksonville 27, Cincinnati 17.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-5) vs New Orleans Saints (5-2)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off a putrid divisional home loss against the Carolina Panthers. New Orleans is coming off a home win over the Chicago Bears. I love the Saints here and their improved defense to lead the way to their sixth straight win.
Prediction: New Orleans 30, Tampa Bay 17.

Los Angeles Rams (5-2) vs New York Giants (1-6)- 1:00, FOX: Los Angeles is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they won big in London against the Arizona Cardinals. New York is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost at home against the Seattle Seahawks. The Giants are just a flat out mess and I like the Rams to take advantage of it on the road.
Prediction: Los Angeles 27, New York 19.

Denver Broncos (3-4) vs Philadelphia Eagles (7-1)- 1:00, CBS: Denver is coming off a tough Monday night divisional road loss in Kansas City against the Chiefs. Philadelphia is coming off a home win over the San Francisco 49ers. The Eagles are on fire winning six straight games and I believe they'll win a seventh straight game over the now Brock Osweiler-led Broncos.
Prediction: Philadelphia 27, Denver 17.

Baltimore Ravens (4-4) vs Tennessee Titans (4-3)- 1:00, CBS: Baltimore is coming off a flat out dominant Thursday night home win over the Miami Dolphins. Tennessee is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they won in overtime in Cleveland against the winless Browns. The Titans are perhaps the most overrated team in football that is above .500 and I like the Ravens and their defense to slow down the Titan offense. It certainly helps that Joe Flacco will play this week for the Ravens after that nasty concussion.
Prediction: Baltimore 20, Tennessee 16.

Arizona Cardinals (3-4) vs San Francisco 49ers (0-8)- 4:05, FOX: Arizona is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost badly in London against the Los Angeles Rams. San Francisco is coming off a road loss in Philadelphia against the Eagles. If the Niners started newly acquired quarterback Jimmy Garrapolo I'd feel much better about my pick, but I'll take the Niners to get their first win over the now Drew Stanton-led Cardinals.
Prediction: San Francisco 16, Arizona 13.

Washington Redskins (3-4) vs Seattle Seahawks (5-2)- 4:05, FOX: Washington is coming off a tough divisional home loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Seattle is coming off a great home win over the Houston Texans. The Seahawks have seem to got their offense rolling again and I like them here at home over a reeling Redskins team.
Prediction: Seattle 30, Washington 20.

Kansas City Chiefs (6-2) vs Dallas Cowboys (4-3)- 4:25, CBS: Kansas City is coming off a Monday night divisional home win over the Denver Broncos. Dallas is coming off a big divisional road win in Landover over the Redskins. I was going to pick the Cowboys, but the Ezekiel Elliott suspension finally begins this week, so give me the Chiefs in a close one on the road.
Prediction: Kansas City 27, Dallas 24.

Oakland Raiders (3-5) vs Miami Dolphins (4-3)- 8:30, NBC: Oakland is coming off a dismal road loss in Orchard Park against the Bills. Miami is coming off a disastrous shutout Thursday night road loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. The Raiders absolutely need this game in the worst way and I believe they'll get it especially now that the Dolphins traded Jay Ajayi away.
Prediction: Oakland 30, Miami 16.

Monday, November 6th

Detroit Lions (3-4) vs Green Bay Packers (4-3)- 8:30, ESPN: Detroit is coming off a Sunday night home loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Green Bay is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost at home against the improved New Orleans Saints. If Aaron Rodgers was playing, the Packers would be a no brainer pick here. I like Brett Hundley, but he isn't ready for primetime so give me Matt Stafford and the Lions here on the road although I don't feel great about this pick.
Prediction: Detroit 26, Green Bay 19.

Central Michigan (4-4; 2-2) at Western Michigan (5-3; 3-1)- 8:00, ESPN2
Pick: Western Michigan

Thursday, November 2nd
Northern Illinois (6-2; 4-0) at Toledo (7-1; 4-0)- 6:00, ESPNU
Pick: Toledo

Ball State (2-6; 0-4) at Eastern Michigan (2-6; 0-4)- 7:00, CBSSN
Pick: Eastern Michigan

Navy (5-2; 3-2) at Temple (3-5; 1-3)- 8:00, ESPN
Pick: Navy

Idaho (2-5; 1-2) at Troy (6-2; 3-1)- 9:15, ESPNU
Pick: Troy

Friday, November 3rd
Marshall (6-2; 3-1) at FAU (5-3; 4-0)- 6:00, CBSSN: This is a sneaky good game in the C-USA. Lane Kiffin has done outstanding in his first season at Florida Atlantic and they'll keep their unbeaten in-conference record going after another big win here.
Pick: FAU

(23) Memphis (7-1; 4-1) at Tulsa (2-7; 1-4)- 8:00, ESPN2
Pick: Memphis

UCLA (4-4; 2-3) at Utah (4-4; 1-4)- 9:30, FS1
Pick: Utah

Saturday, November 4th
(9) Wisconsin (8-0; 5-0) at Indiana (3-5; 0-5)- 12:00, ABC
Pick: Wisconsin

(7) Penn State (7-1; 4-1) at Michigan State (6-2; 4-1)- 12:00, FOX: This is a nice game in the Big-10. I like the Lions to bounce back from that tough loss in Columbus last week to get a nice road win here in a close game.
Pick: Penn State

(14) Auburn (6-2; 4-1) at Texas A&M (5-3; 3-2)- 12:00, ESPN: If the Aggies get blown out here again, don't be stunned if you hear rumors about Kevin Sumlin losing his job.
Pick: Auburn

Massachusetts (2-6) at (16) Mississippi State (6-2; 3-2)- 12:00, SECN
Pick: Mississippi State

Florida (3-4; 3-3) at Missouri (3-5; 0-4)- 12:00, ESPN2: With a new interim coach trying to get the interim tag removed, the Gators will play hard and come away with a win against a bad Mizzou team.
Pick: Missouri

Kansas State (4-4; 2-3) at Texas Tech (4-4; 1-4)- 12:00, FS1: The winner of this game is almost certain to be heading to a bowl game and I believe the Red Raiders get it done at home.
Pick: Texas Tech

WKU (5-3; 3-2) at Vanderbilt (3-5; 0-3)- 12:00, ESPNU: Vandy finally snaps their losing skid here against an overrated Hilltopers squad.
Pick: Vanderbilt

Baylor (0-8; 0-5) at Kansas (1-7; 0-5)- 12:00, FSN: The Bears finally get their first win under Matt Rhule here.
Pick: Baylor

Illinois (2-6; 0-5) at Purdue (3-5; 1-4)- 12:00, BTN
Pick: Purdue

East Carolina (2-6; 1-3) at Houston (4-3; 2-2)- 12:00, CBSSN
Pick: Houston

Syracuse (4-4; 2-2) at Florida State (2-5; 2-4)- 12:20, ACCN: The Seminoles are so depleted and I'm going to take the Orange to pull off another upset.
Pick: Syracuse

Georgia Tech (4-3; 3-2) at Virginia (5-3; 2-2)- 3:00, ACCN
Pick: Georgia Tech

Appalachian State (5-3; 4-0) at Louisiana-Monroe (3-4; 3-2)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: Appalachian State

Georgia State (4-3; 3-1) at Georgia Southern (0-7; 0-3)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: Georgia Southern

Rice (1-7; 1-3) at UAB (5-3; 3-2)- 3:00
Pick: UAB

New Mexico State (3-4; 1-2) at Texas State (2-6; 1-3)- 3:00, ESPN3
Pick: New Mexico State

South Carolina (6-2; 4-2) at (1) Georgia (8-0; 5-0)- 3:30, CBS: The Bulldogs will be motivated to prove their number one ranking in the College Football Playoff rankings and they will come out with a bang here against a decent Gamecocks team.
Pick: Georgia

(6) Ohio State (7-1; 4-1) at Iowa (5-3; 2-3)- 3:30, ESPN: This game will be a lot closer than the experts think due to the fact that I see a bit of a letdown for the Buckeyes after their big win over Penn State and the fact the Hawkeyes typically keep these games against better opponents close.
Pick: Ohio State

Wake Forest (5-3; 2-3) at (3) Notre Dame (7-1) 3:30, NBC
Pick: Notre Dame

(4) Clemson (7-1; 5-1) at (20) NC State (6-2; 4-0)- 3:30, ABC: The winner of this game is in all likelihood heading to the ACC title game and the Tigers have Kelly Bryant back from injury and they typically play great in these spots so give me the Tigers in a close one.
Pick: Clemson

(15) Iowa State (6-2; 5-1) at West Virginia (5-3; 3-2)- 3:30, ESPN2: This has all the makings of a letdown for the Cyclones after their big win over TCU, so give me the Mountaineers to bounce back here at home after their tough loss against Oklahoma State.
Pick: West Virginia

(21) Stanford (6-2; 5-1) at (25) Washington State (7-2; 4-2)- 3:30, FOX: This should be a fun game and with Bryce Love back, I like the Cardinal here on the road in a game that can help decide the Pac-12 North. (If Love doesn't play, this pick will switch)
Pick: Stanford

South Florida (7-1; 4-1) at Connecticut (3-5; 2-3)- 3:30, ESPNU
Pick: South Florida

Maryland (4-4; 2-3) at Rutgers (3-5; 2-3)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Rutgers

Charlotte (1-7; 1-3) at Old Dominion (2-6; 0-4)- 3:30, ESPN3
Pick: Old Dominion

North Texas (5-3; 4-1) at Louisiana Tech (4-4; 2-2)- 3:30
Pick: Louisiana Tech

Northwestern (5-3; 3-2) at Nebraska (4-4; 3-2)- 3:30, BTN
Pick: Northwestern

Army (6-2) at Air Force (4-4; 3-2)- 3:30, CBSSN
Pick: Air Force

(5) Oklahoma (7-1; 4-1) at Oklahoma State (7-1; 4-1)- 4:00, FS1: Bedlam! This should be a fun game. ESPN's College GameDay will be on hand for this one and this could very well be the first of two Bedlam matchups this season (depending on what happens with TCU). Give me the Cowboys in a close one at home.
Pick: Oklahoma State

Ole Miss (3-5; 1-4) at Kentucky (6-2; 3-2)- 4:00, SECN
Pick: Kentucky

Coastal Carolina (1-7; 0-5) at Arkansas (3-5; 1-4)- 4:00, SECN
Pick: Arkansas

Cincinnati (2-6; 0-4) at Tulane (3-5; 1-3)- 4:00, ESPN3
Pick: Tulane

Louisiana (3-4; 2-2) at South Alabama (3-5; 2-2)- 4:00, ESPN3
Pick: South Alabama

Oregon State (1-7; 0-5) at California (4-5; 1-5)- 5:00, Pac-12N
Pick: California

Utah State (4-5; 2-3) at New Mexico (2-5; 1-4)- 5:30
Pick: New Mexico

Hawaii (3-5; 1-4) at UNLV (3-5; 2-3)- 6:00
Pick: UNLV

Nevada (1-7; 1-3) at Boise State (6-2; 4-0)- 7:00, ESPNU
Pick: Boise State

Colorado State (6-3; 4-1) at Wyoming (5-3; 3-1)- 7:00, CBSSN
Pick: Wyoming

UTSA (5-2; 2-2) at FIU (5-2; 3-1)- 7:00
Pick: FIU

Texas (4-4; 3-2) at (8) TCU (7-1; 4-1)- 7:15, ESPN: The Horned Frogs have blown out the Longhorns a ton over the last few seasons and I expect the Frogs to win this one too, but except not a blowout.
Pick: TCU

(18) UCF (7-0; 4-0) at SMU (6-2; 3-1)- 7:15, ESPN2: This is going to be a great high scoring affair and you know what? I like the upset here with the Stangs.
Pick: SMU

Southern Miss (5-3; 3-2) at Tennessee (3-5; 0-5)- 7:30, SECN: Speaking of upsets, I'm taking the Golden Eagles here because the Vols seem to have quit and if they lose this game, Butch Jones may be out of a job.
Pick: Tennessee

UTEP (0-8; 0-4) at Middle Tennessee (3-5; 1-3)- 7:30
Pick: Middle Tennessee

Minnesota (4-4; 1-4) at Michigan (6-2; 3-2)- 7:30, BTN
Pick: Michigan

(19) LSU (6-2; 3-1) at (2) Alabama (8-0; 5-0)- 8:00, CBS: This game is always a fun game, but the Tide are probably not thrilled about their number two ranking, so I like the Tide to roll past the Tigers although I wouldn't rule out a close game.
Pick: Alabama

(13) Virginia Tech (7-1; 3-1) at (10) Miami (7-0; 5-0)- 8:00, ABC: This should be a fun and entertaining game. The Canes are going to be motivated because they're home and higher ranked, but also the underdog and because of that, I love them in this spot.
Pick: Miami

Colorado (5-4; 2-4) at Arizona State (4-4; 3-2) 9:00, Pac-12N
Pick: Arizona State

Oregon (5-4; 2-4) at (12) Washington (7-1; 4-1)- 10:00, FS1
Pick: Washington

San Diego State (7-2; 3-2) at San Jose State (1-8; 0-4)- 10:30, ESPNU
Pick: San Diego State

(22) Arizona (6-2; 4-1) at (17) USC (7-2; 5-1)- 10:45, ESPN: This should be a very fun game in Los Angeles. The Wildcats have had a great season thus far, but the Trojans are just flat out better and will pull this game out late.
Pick: USC

BYU (2-7) at Fresno State (5-3; 4-1)- 10:45, ESPN2
Pick: Fresno State
