2018 NFL Week 7 Picks

Here are my picks for week seven of the 2018 NFL Season.

Thursday, October 18th
Denver Broncos (2-4) vs Arizona Cardinals (1-5)- 8:20, FOX/NFLN: The Broncos are coming off a home loss against the Los Angeles Rams. The Cardinals are coming off a road loss in Minneapolis against the Vikings. Case Keenum has been bad the last 4 weeks and the Broncos run defense has been shockingly awful the past few weeks. I like Josh Rosen and David Johnson to lead the Cards to a win.
Prediction: Arizona 27, Denver 20.

Sunday, October 21st
Tennessee Titans (3-3) vs Los Angeles Chargers (4-2)- (London); 9:30, CBS: The Titans are coming off an awful shutout home loss against the Baltimore Ravens. The Chargers are coming off a dominant road win in Cleveland against the Browns. The Chargers has perhaps their best effort of the season last week and they'll rolling and they'll win big here in London.
Prediction: LA Chargers 30, Tennessee 17.

New England Patriots (4-2) at Chicago Bears (3-2)- 1:00, CBS: The Patriots are coming off a big home win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bears are coming off a brutal overtime road loss in Miami against the Dolphins. The Bears are an enticing pick here, but I don't have the guts to pick to do it due to the fact the Bears have some injuries and Khalil Mack is not 100%. Pats win a close one.
Prediction: New England 27, Chicago 20.

Buffalo Bills (2-4) at Indianapolis Colts (1-5)- 1:00, CBS: The Bills are coming off a tough road loss in Houston against the Texans in which Josh Allen got hurt in. The Colts are coming off a road loss in East Rutherford against the Jets. Derek Anderson (!!!!) is starting for the Bills over Nathan Peterman and the Colts offense has thrived against bad defenses this season and I like them to get their second win.
Prediction: Indianapolis 33, Buffalo 16.

Detroit Lions (3-2) at Miami Dolphins (4-2)- 1:00, FOX: The Lions are coming off a bye and two weeks ago they won at home against the Packers. The Dolphins are coming off an overtime home win over the Chicago Bears. The Dolphins are starting Brock Osweiler again for the injured Ryan Tannehill and I think they pull their second straight upset over an overrated Lions team.
Prediction: Miami 26, Detroit 20.

Minnesota Vikings (3-2-1) at New York Jets (3-3)- 1:00, FOX: The Vikings are coming off a home win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Jets are coming off a home win over the Philadelphia Eagles. This could be a trap game for the Vikings, but they are just better than the Jets in all aspects so I expect them to win here.
Prediction: Minnesota 26, NY Jets 20.

Carolina Panthers (3-2) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-3)- 1:00, FOX: The Panthers are coming off a road loss in Landover against the Redskins. The Eagles are coming off a dominant divisional Thursday night road win in East Rutherford against the Giants. The Eagles seem like they got their mojo last week and I think they win again, expect a much closer game against a more superior opponent in the Panthers rather than the lowly Giants.
Prediction: Philadelphia 27, Carolina 24.

Cleveland Browns (2-3-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3)- 1:00, FOX: The Browns are coming off a bad home loss against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Bucs are coming off a divisional road loss in Atlanta against the Falcons. The Bucs have the leagues worst defense and I think Baker Mayfield and the Browns bounce back and get a road win.
Prediction: Cleveland 33, Tampa Bay 27.

Houston Texans (3-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3)- 1:00, CBS: The Texans are coming off a home win over the Buffalo Bills and it took them a pick six to seal the win. The Jaguars are coming off an awful road loss in Arlington against the Cowboys. Blake Bortles has not played well for most of the season and I like the Texans here to get above the .500 mark.
Prediction: Houston 24, Jacksonville 20.

New Orleans Saints (4-1) at Baltimore Ravens (4-2)- 4:05, FOX: The Saints are coming off their bye and two weeks ago they creamed the Washington Redskins at home on Monday Night Football in which Drew Brees broke the all time passing yards record. The Ravens are coming off a dominant shutout road win in Nashville against the Titans. This should be an entertaining game with a lot of scoring and I like the Ravens here at home.
Prediction: Baltimore 30, New Orleans 26.

Los Angeles Rams (6-0) at San Francisco 49ers (1-5)- 4:25, CBS: The Rams are coming off a road win in Denver against the Broncos. The 49ers are coming off a Monday night road loss in Green Bay against the Packers. The Niners should be proud of their effort, but they will have a letdown here at home against the leagues best team, which is my lock of the week.
Prediction: LA Rams 30, San Francisco 20.

Dallas Cowboys (3-3) at Washington Redskins (3-2)- 4:25, CBS: The Cowboys are coming off a dominant home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Redskins are coming off a nice home win over the Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys are clearly a better team at home than they are on the road and that continues here as Alex Smith and the Redskins hang on to first place in the NFC East.
Prediction: Washington 27, Dallas 20.

Cincinnati Bengals (4-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (5-1)- 8:30, NBC: Great game from a team records standpoint. The Bengals are coming off a heartbreaking divisional home loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chiefs are coming off a tough Sunday night road loss in New England against the Patriots on a Stephen Gostkowski field goal as time expired. This has the makings of a big time Chiefs bounce back at home. Also, don't forget Andy Dalton's bad road primetime games history.
Prediction: Kansas City 34, Cincinnati 20.

Monday, October 22nd
New York Giants (1-5) at Atlanta Falcons (2-4)- 8:20, ESPN: The World Wide Leader certainly didn't expect this to be this bad of a game. The Giants are coming off a terrible Thursday night divisional home loss against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Falcons are coming off a divisional home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I expect the Giants offense to perform better (since it tends to do better away from MetLife Stadium this season), but the Falcons have more talent on both sides of the ball and they should win this one at home.
Prediction: Atlanta 34, NY Giants 27.
