2016 MLB Wild Card Game Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2015 MLB Wild Card games.

American League
October 4th- Baltimore Orioles vs Toronto Blue Jays- 8:00, TBS: Here we got a nice American League East battle between the Orioles, who most pundits picked to finish last in the division and the Bleu Jays, who most pundits picked to finish first in the division before the season started. Marcus Stroman, who's been somewhat disappointing this season takes the bump for Toronto and Chris Tillman, who has been the teams best pitcher for most if not all season goes for Baltimore. Both teams have potent offenses that can both mash the ball out of the park. The bullpens for both teams aren't bad, either but the Orioles have the better closer in Zach Britton. That said, the Rogers Centre will be rocking and that will certainly be the difference as the Jays will move on to face the Texas Rangers in a rematch of last seasons epic American League Division Series.
Prediction: Blue Jays 5, Orioles 4.

National League
October 5th- San Francisco Giants vs New York Mets- 8:00, ESPN: This is an excellent matchup here headlined by a fantastic pitching matchup between Madison Bumgarner and Noah Syndergaard. The Mets offense has been much better the last month and a half of the season meanwhile the Giants have been unpredictable offensively during their awful second half of the season, which the struggles are mainly due to the back end of the rotation and their bullpen not panning out. That said, it's hard to bet against Madison Bumgarner in the playoffs and that will be the difference here as the Giants will move on to play the Chicago Cubs in the National League Division Series, which would be a highly anticipated series.
Prediction: Giants 4, Mets 2.
