2014 World Series Prediction

Here is my prediction for the 2014 World Series.

(A4) Kansas City Royals vs (N5) San Francisco Giants: How about this for an exciting World Series matchup? Two wild card teams that were each a long shot of winning it all before the playoffs even started! San Francisco and Kansas City are both intriguing teams by all means. San Francisco is looking to win it's third World Series in five years. Kansas City is looking to win its first World Series since 1985. San Francisco and Kansas City both have solid offenses. Kansas City has a better defense than San Francisco. Both teams have decent rotations with staff aces Madison Bumgarner and James Shields leading the way for their teams respectively. Both teams have solid bullpens, but Kansas City has the better one. With that said, San Francisco is a dynasty in the making that seems to win it all every even year and Kansas City is a team of destiny. Even though I do not necessarily buy into trends, I believe San Francisco wins it yet again in a very fun series. Prediction: Giants in six.

World Series MVP Pick: Madison Bumgarner
