2015 College Football Week 4 Picks

Here are my picks for week four of the 2015 College Football season.

Thursday, September 24th
Cincinnati (2-1; 0-0) at Memphis (3-0; 0-0)- 7:30, ESPN: This is a fun conference matchup to kick off the week as two of the top teams in the AAC face off in a critical matchup that can determine who wins the AAC East division title. Memphis has been very impressive so far and I like them here to beat Cincinnati at home.
Pick: Memphis

Friday, September 25th
Boise State (2-1; 0-0) at Virginia (1-2; 0-0)- 8:00, ESPN
Pick: Boise State

(21) Stanford (2-1; 1-0) at Oregon State (2-1; 0-0)- 10:00, FS1: This should be fun conference since Stanford is coming off a big time road win at the Coliseum against USC and it would be interesting to see if they pass another big road test in Corvallis, where it's never easy to play. I think Stanford has a lot of momentum going into this game and I believe Kevin Hogan leads them to another road win.
Pick: Stanford

Saturday, September 26th
Kansas (0-2; 0-0) at Rutgers (1-2; 0-1)- 12:00, BTN
Pick: Rutgers

(22) BYU (2-1) at Michigan (2-1; 0-0)- 12:00, ABC: This should be an interesting game for both sides as Jim Harbaugh's squad takes on a ranked BYU team at the Big House. This is a tough game to pick, but I like Tanner Mangum to lead BYU to win this one on the road.
Pick: BYU

Central Michigan (1-2; 0-0) at (2) Michigan State (3-0; 0-0)- 12:00, BTN
Pick: Michigan State

Southern Miss (2-1; 0-0) at Nebraska (1-2; 0-0)- 12:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: Nebraska

(20) Georgia Tech (2-1; 0-0) at Duke (2-1; 0-0)- 12:00, ESPN2: This is a big conference game as both teams look to bounce back from losses to Notre Dame and Northwestern, respectively. Georgia Tech is the better team here and I think they win this one on the road.
Pick: Georgia Tech

Southern (2-1; 2-0) at (7) Georgia (3-0; 2-0)- 12:00, SECN
Pick: Georgia

UCF (0-3; 0-0) at South Carolina (1-2; 0-2)- 12:00, ESPNU
Pick: South Carolina

(13) LSU (2-0; 2-0) at Syracuse (3-0; 1-0)- 12:00, ESPN
Pick: LSU

Navy (2-0; 1-0) at Connecticut (2-1; 0-0)- 12:00, CBSSN
Pick: Navy

Bowling Green (1-2; 0-0) at Purdue (1-2; 0-0)-12:00, BTN
Pick: Bowling Green

Delaware (1-2; 0-1) at North Carolina (2-1; 0-0)- 12:30, ESPN3
Pick: North Carolina

Indiana (3-0; 0-0) at Wake Forest (2-1; 0-1)- 12:30, ESPN3
Pick: Indiana

Northern Illinois (2-1; 0-0) at Boston College (2-1; 0-1)- 1:00, ESPN3: This is a tough game to pick since Northern Illinois played well in Columbus against Ohio State last week and BC was shut out at home against a good Florida State team, even though their defense played well. Expect a low scoring battle here and for BC to win this one.
Pick: Boston College

Nicholls State (0-2; 0-0) at Colorado (2-1; 0-0)- 1:30
Pick: Colorado

FIU (2-1; 0-0) at Louisiana Tech (1-2; 0-1)- 2:30
Pick: Louisiana Tech

New Mexico (1-2; 0-0) at Wyoming (0-3; 0-0)- 3:00
Pick: New Mexico

Rice (2-1; 1-0) at (5) Baylor (2-0; 0-0)- 3:00
Pick: Baylor

Maryland (2-1; 0-0) at West Virginia (2-0; 0-0)- 3:00, FS1
Pick: West Virginia

Ohio (3-0; 0-0) at Minnesota (2-1; 0-0)- 3:00, BTN
Pick: Minnesota

Western Michigan (1-2; 0-0) at (1) Ohio State (3-0; 0-0)- 3:30, ABC/ESPN
Pick: Ohio State

San Diego State (1-2; 0-0) at Penn State (2-1; 1-0)- 3:00, BTN
Pick: Penn State

(24) Oklahoma State (3-0; 0-0) at Texas (1-2; 0-0)- 3:30, ESPN: This should be a fun game in the Big-12 as these two rivals face each other. Texas looks to bounce back from a devastating loss against Cal and Oklahoma State looks to keep its ranking and win a big conference game on the road. The Cowboys have looked awfully impressive early on and I like them to get the win here.
Pick: Oklahoma State

Virginia Tech (2-1; 0-0) at East Carolina (1-2; 0-1)- 3:30, ABC/ESPN2
Pick: Virginia Tech

Tennessee (2-1; 0-0) at Florida (3-0; 1-0)- 3:30, CBS: This is a huge matchup in the SEC East early on as Florida looks to stay undefeated and Tennessee looks to make a statement. The Vols are the better team here and I think they get it done in The Swamp.
Pick: Tennessee

Miami (OH) (1-2; 0-0) at Western Kentucky (2-1; 1-0)- 3:30, CBSSN
Pick: Western Kentucky

Appalachian State (1-1; 0-0) at Old Dominion (2-1; 0-0)- 3:30
Pick: Old Dominion

North Texas (0-2; 0-1) at Iowa (3-0; 0-0)- 3:30, ESPNU
Pick: Iowa

Marshall (2-1; 0-0) at Kent State (1-2; 0-0)- 3:30, ESPN3
Pick: Marshall

Massachusetts (0-2; 0-0) at (6) Notre Dame (3-0)- 3:30, NBC
Pick: Notre Dame

Nevada (1-2; 0-0) at Buffalo (2-1; 0-0)- 3:30, ESPN3
Pick: Buffalo

UL-Monroe (1-1; 0-0) at (12) Alabama (2-1; 0-1)- 4:00, SECN
Pick: Alabama

Middle Tennessee (2-1; 1-0) at Illinois (2-1; 0-0)- 4:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: Illinois

(3) TCU (3-0; 0-0) at Texas Tech (3-0; 0-0)- 4:30, FOX: This game can determine big time to determine who wins the Big-12. Texas Tech is off to a surprising 3-0 start and TCU has shown some vulnerability in two of their first three games. I think Gary Patterson will have his team ready to go and Trevone Boykin will have a big game to lead the Horned Frogs to a big conference road win.
Pick: TCU

California (3-0; 0-0) at Washington (2-1; 0-0)- 5:00, PAC-12N: This is a big game in the Pac-12 North as Cal tries to stay unbeaten and Washington looks to win it's third straight at home. I like Jared Goff to continue his success and for Cal to win another big road game.
Pick: California

Army (0-3) at Eastern Michigan (1-2; 0-1)- 6:00, ESPN3
Pick: Eastern Michigan

Samford (2-1; 0-1) at Louisville (0-3; 0-1)- 6:00, ESPN3
Pick: Louisville

(14) Texas A&M (3-0; 0-0) vs Arkansas (1-2; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN (AT&T Stadium): Texas A&M has been one of the best teams in the country early on while Arkansas has been one of the more disappointing teams in the country. I like the Aggies to continue their success here in a neutral site game that's in their state once again.
Pick: Texas A&M

Vanderbilt (1-2; 0-1) at (3) Ole Miss (3-0; 1-0)- 7:00, ESPNU: Ole Miss is coming off a big time win in Tuscaloosa and I don't see a meltdown against arguably the worst team in the conference in Vandy.
Pick: Ole Miss

Akron (1-2; 0-0) at UL-Lafayette (1-1; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: UL-Lafayette

Arkansas State (1-2; 0-0) at Toledo (2-0; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: Toledo

Florida Atlantic (0-3; 0-0) at Charlotte (2-1; 0-1)- 7:00
Pick: Charlotte

Colorado State (1-2; 0-0) at UTSA (0-3; 0-0)- 7:00, CBSSN
Pick: Colorado State

James Madison (3-0; 1-0) at SMU (1-2; 0-0)- 7:00, ESPN3
Pick: SMU

Mississippi State (2-1; 0-1) at Auburn (2-1; 0-1)- 7:30, ESPN2: This is a big game in the SEC West between a Mississippi State team that's being overlooked and an Auburn team that is not living up to the preseason hype. I really think Dak Prescott will lead the Bulldogs to a big road win in Auburn.
Pick: Mississippi State

(25) Missouri (3-0; 0-0) at Kentucky (2-1; 1-1)- 7:30, SECN: This is another big SEC game except its between two East teams. Missouri looked sluggish in its home win over UConn and Kentucky is looking to bounce back from its home loss against Florida. This is a tough game to pick, but I believe Kentucky bounces back and wins.
Pick: Kentucky

NC State (3-0; 0-0) at South Alabama (2-1; 0-0)- 8:00, ESPNEWS
Pick: NC State

(9) UCLA (3-0; 0-0) at (16) Arizona (3-0; 0-0)- 8:00, ABC: This is perhaps the biggest and best game of the weekend as two Pac-12 South teams look to stay unbeaten. ESPN's College GameDay will be on site for this marquee matchup as well. Josh Rosen hasn't played as well as he did since UCLA's game against Virginia and Arizona's has been dominant offensively so far as well. I like the Wildcats to win this one at home.
Pick: Arizona

Ball State (2-1; 1-0) at (17) Northwestern (3-0; 0-0)- 8:00, BTN
Pick: Northwestern

Texas State (1-2; 0-0) at Houston (2-0; 0-0)- 8:00, ESPN3
Pick: Houston

Hawaii (2-1; 0-0) at (22) Wisconsin (2-1; 0-0)- 8:00, BTN
Pick: Wisconsin

Incarnate Word (2-1; 1-1) at UTEP (1-2; 0-0)- 8:00
Pick: UTEP

(18) Utah (3-0; 0-0) at (13) Oregon (2-1; 0-0)- 8:30, FOX: Here's another huge Pac-12 game on the schedule this weekend as Utah looks to stay unbeaten and Oregon looks to make a statement at home. Vernon Adams Jr should be back for Oregon this week, so I like them to hand the Utes their first loss of the season.
Pick: Oregon

Idaho State (1-2; 0-1) at UNLV (0-3; 0-0)- 9:00
Pick: UNLV

Georgia Southern (2-1; 0-0) at Idaho (1-2; 0-0)- 9:00, ESPN3
Pick: Idaho

Fresno State (1-2; 0-0) at San Jose State (1-2; 0-1)- 10:30, CBSSN
Pick: Fresno State

(19) USC (2-1; 0-1) at Arizona State (2-1; 0-0)- 10:30, ESPN: Here's another big Pac-12 matchup on the schedule as USC looks to bounce back from a disappointing home loss against Stanford and Arizona State looks to get a big win at home. The Sun Devils haven't looked all that great yet and I like Cody Kessler and the Trojans to get the big road win in Tempe.
Pick: USC
