2015-16 NHL Award Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2015-16 NHL awards.

Hart Trophy- John Tavares, New York Islanders: Tavares is one of the leagues best players and he'll continue to show it this season. Out of the contenders, you can make a case Tavares is the most valuable player to his teams success.
Runner up: Steven Stamkos, Tampa Bay Lightning.

Vezina Trophy- Carey Price, Montreal Canadiens: Price won this award and the Hart Trophy last season. He is amazing and one of the best goalies in the league and he'll win his second straight Vezina.
Runner up: Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers.

Norris Trophy- Shea Weber, Nashville Predators: Weber's name has been in some trade rumors lately, but I think that will motivate him. He's an elite defenseman on a team that I expect to make noise in the Western Conference this season in the Preds.
Runner up: Victor Hedman, Tampa Bay Lightning.

Calder Trophy- Connor McDavid, Edmonton Oilers: Was there really another choice? Yeah, there was, but McDavid is the safe bet. He'll make an immediate impact on a team that isn't expected to do a lot this season.
Runner up: Jack Eichel, Buffalo Sabres.

Jack Adams Award- Peter Laviolette, Nashville Predators: Some experts think Laviolette's team is going to take a step back. I don't buy that. I'm buying his talented club make a jump and finish with the second most points in the Western Conference behind the Anaheim Ducks.
Runner up: Dan Bylsma, Buffalo Sabres.

Selke Trophy- Jonathan Toews, Chicago Blackhawks: Toews is arguably the most talented two way player in the league. I think he shows that this season yet again.
Runner up: Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings.
