2015 NFL Week 7 Picks

Here are my picks for week seven of the 2015 NFL season.

Thursday, October 22nd
Seattle Seahawks (2-4) vs San Francisco 49ers (2-4)- 8:25, CBS/NFLN: Seattle is coming off a disappointing home loss against the Carolina Panthers in which they blew another fourth quarter lead. San Francisco is coming off a nice home win over the Baltimore Ravens. I do think this will be a close game, but I like Seattle to win this one.
Prediction: Seattle 20, San Francisco 17.

Sunday, October 25th
Buffalo Bills (3-3) vs Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5)- 9:30, Yahoo: This game will be the second NFL game played in London this season. Buffalo is coming off a disappointing home loss against the Cincinnati Bengals in which Tyrod Taylor missed the game due to a sprained MCL. Jacksonville is coming off a disastrous home loss against the Houston Texans. Whether Taylor plays or not, the Bills are the more talented team here and that will show here.
Prediction: Buffalo 27, Jacksonville 19.

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) vs Kansas City Chiefs (1-5)- 1:00, CBS: Pittsburgh is coming off a home win over the Arizona Cardinals in which Michael Vick hurt his hamstring. Kansas City is coming off a loss in Minneapolis against the Vikings. Landry Jones will likely be starting at quarterback this week for the Steelers since Ben Rothlisberger is more than a week away and Vick is banged up and this would be a great opportunity for the Chiefs to win their second game of the season.
Prediction: Kansas City 23, Pittsburgh 20.

Houston Texans (2-4) vs Miami Dolphins (2-4)- 1:00, CBS: Houston is coming off a nice road win in Jacksonville against the Jaguars. Miami is coming off a nice road win in Nashville against the Titans in Dan Campbell's first game as interim head coach. This game could go either way, but I like the Dolphins to win their second straight here.
Prediction: Miami 30, Houston 24.

Cleveland Browns (2-4) vs St. Louis Rams (2-3)- 1:00, CBS: Cleveland is coming off a tough overtime home loss against the Denver Broncos. St. Louis is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost a tough game at Lambeau against the Packers. The Rams are the better team here and they should win this one.
Prediction: St. Louis 24, Cleveland 17.

Atlanta Falcons (5-1) vs Tennessee Titans (1-4)- 1:00, FOX: Atlanta is coming off a disappointing road loss in the Superdome against the Saints. Tennessee is coming off a disastrous home loss against the Miami Dolphins. Atlanta has to bounce back here against a bad Titans team and I believe they will.
Prediction: Atlanta 30, Tennessee 20.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3) vs Washington Redskins (2-4)- 1:00, FOX: Tampa Bay is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they won at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Washington is coming off a disappointing loss at MetLife against the Jets. Washington has been a good home team this season and I like that to continue here against the Bucs.
Prediction: Washington 27, Tampa Bay 20.

Minnesota Vikings (3-2) vs Detroit Lions (1-5)- 1:00, FOX: Minnesota is coming off a home win over the Kansas City Chiefs in which they didn't play their best in. Detroit is coming off their first win of the season at home over the Chicago Bears. This was a tough call, but I like Detroit here at home.
Prediction: Detroit 30, Minnesota 27.

New Orleans Saints (2-4) vs Indianapolis Colts (3-3)- 1:00, FOX: New Orleans is coming off a nice home win over the Atlanta Falcons. Indianapolis is coming off a tough home loss against the New England Patriots. I expect a shootout here, but the Colts to come out on top and for the Saints to have a mini-let down after that big win last Thursday.
Prediction: Indianapolis 34, New Orleans 23.

New York Jets (4-1) vs New England Patriots (5-0)- 1:00, CBS: New York is coming off a nice home win over Washington. New England is coming off a road win in Indianapolis against the Colts. This should be a fun divisional game, but the Patriots are the better team here by far and are a tempting lock pick here. The Jets can hang around in this one and that prevents me from giving the Pats my lock pick for the week.
Prediction: New England 33, NY Jets 23.

Oakland Raiders (2-3) vs San Diego Chargers (2-4)- 4:05, CBS: Oakland is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost a tough home game against the Denver Broncos. San Diego is coming off a tough loss at Lambeau against the Packers in which they could have won. The Chargers have to win this week after two close losses and I think they'll get the job in an another close game.
Prediction: San Diego 31, Oakland 24.

Dallas Cowboys (2-3) vs New York Giants (3-3)- 4:25, FOX: Dallas is coming off their bye and two weeks ago they lost a rough one at home against the New England Patriots. New York is coming off a disappointing loss in Philadelphia against the Eagles. Matt Cassel is starting this week for Dallas, which should help them offensively before Tony Romo comes back. I do think the Cowboys play a respectable game, but I see the Giants bouncing back from last week.
Prediction: NY Giants 31, Dallas 23.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-3) vs Carolina Panthers (5-0)- 8:30, NBC: Philadelphia is coming off a huge win at home over the New York Giants. Carolina is coming off a huge road win in Seattle against the Seahawks. This should be a fun game and I like Cam Newton to stay hot and carry his team to another win.
Prediction: Carolina 27, Philadelphia 20.

Monday, October 26th
Baltimore Ravens (1-5) vs Arizona Cardinals (4-2)- 8:30, ESPN: Baltimore is coming off yet another close loss in Santa Clara against the 49ers. Arizona is coming off a disappointing loss in Pittsburgh against the Ben Rothlisberger-less Steelers. I love Arizona to bounce back at home against a very disappointing Baltimore team and this maybe risky but the Cardinals are my lock of the week.
Prediction: Arizona 34, Baltimore 20.
