2016 ACC Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2016 ACC tournament. The tournament will be held at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.

First Round
March 8th- (13) Wake Forest (11-19; 2-16) vs (12) NC State (15-16; 5-13)- 12:00, ESPN2
Prediction: NC State

March 8th- (14) Boston College (7-24; 0-18) vs (11) Florida State (18-12; 8-10)- 2:00, ESPN2
Prediction: Florida State

Second Round
March 9th- (9) Syracuse (19-12; 9-9) vs (8) Pittsburgh (20-10)- 12:00, ESPN
Prediction: Pittsburgh

March 9th- (12) NC State vs (5) Duke (22-9; 11-7)- 2:00, ESPN
Prediction: Duke

March 9th- (10) Georgia Tech (18-13; 8-10) vs (7) Clemson (17-13; 10-8)- 7:00, ESPN2
Prediction: Clemson

March 9th- (11) Florida State vs (6) Virginia Tech (18-13; 10-8)- 9:00, ESPN2
Prediction: Virginia Tech

Quarterfinals
March 10th- (8) Pittsburgh vs (1) North Carolina (25-6; 14-4)- 12:00, ESPN
Prediction: North Carolina

March 10th- (5) Duke vs (4) Notre Dame (20-10; 11-7)- 2:00, ESPN: This should be a compelling matchup but I like Grayson Allen and Brandon Ingram to lead the way for the Blue Devils.
Prediction: Duke

March 10th- (7) Clemson vs (2) Virginia (24-6; 13-5)- 7:00, ESPN
Prediction: Virginia

March 10th- (6) Virginia Tech vs (3) Miami (FL) (24-6; 13-5)- 9:00, ESPN: Tech just beat Miami last Saturday but they won't do it again here.
Prediction: Miami (FL)

Semifinals
March 11th- (5) Duke vs (1) North Carolina- 7:00, ESPN/ESPN2: College basketball's best rivalry will clash for a third (and probably the final) time this season and give me Marcus Paige and the Tarheels to move on the Championship.
Prediction: North Carolina

March 11th- (3) Miami (FL) vs (2) Virginia- 9:00, ESPN/ESPN2: This should be a fascinating matchup between two great teams. I like Tony Bennett's squad to advance to the Championship in a very close game.
Prediction: Virginia

Championship
March 12th- (2) Virginia vs (1) North Carolina- 9:00, ESPN: This would make a fantastic championship with a one-seed in the Big Dance on the line. The Cavs are the better team here and I think they'll win the conference tournament and earn a 1-seed in the Big Dance while UNC will likely end up as a 2-seed.
