2016 SEC Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2016 SEC tournament. The tournament will be held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

First Round
March 9th- (13) Auburn (11-19; 5-13) vs (12) Tennessee (13-18; 6-12)- 8:00, SECN
Prediction: Tennessee

Second Round
March 10th- (9) Arkansas (16-15; 9-9) vs (8) Florida (18-13; 9-9)- 1:00, SECN
Prediction: Florida

March 10th- (12) Tennessee vs (5) Vanderbilt (19-12; 11-7)- 3:30, SECN
Prediction: Vanderbilt

March 10th- (10) Alabama (17-13; 8-10) vs (7) Ole Miss (20-11; 10-8)- 7:00, SECN
Prediction: Alabama

March 10th- (11) Mississippi State (14-16; 7-11) vs (6) Georgia (17-12; 10-8)- 9:30, SECN
Prediction: Georgia

Quarterfinals
March 11th- (8) Florida vs (1) Texas A&M (24-7; 13-5)- 1:00, SECN
Prediction: Texas A&M

March 11th- (5) Vanderbilt vs (4) LSU (18-13; 11-7)- 3:30, SECN: Ben Simmons is perhaps the most talented player in college basketball but his team is NIT bound because Vandy looks to have turned a corner.
Prediction: Vanderbilt

March 11th- (10) Alabama vs (2) Kentucky (23-8; 13-5)- 7:00, SECN: Avery Johnson's team has exceeded expectations this season, but they'll fall short here to a more superior Kentucky team.
Prediction: Kentucky

March 11th- (6) Georgia vs (3) South Carolina (24-7; 11-7)- 9:30, SECN: South Carolina got off to surprising start and was ranked for a few weeks, but have fallen off the last few weeks, although I'm not a fan of this Georgia team that finished the regular season strong and swept the Cocks in the regular season, I like the Dogs here.

Semifinals
March 12th- (5) Vanderbilt vs (1) Texas A&M- 1:00, ESPN: This should be a fun game to watch but I like this hot Vandy team to keep it going, while A&M may end up as a five-seed.

March 12th- (6) Georgia vs (2) Kentucky- 3:30, ESPN: The Bulldogs have been hot, but the Cats are the more superior team and the Dogs can potentially sneak into the Big Dance by advancing this far.
Prediction: Kentucky

Championship
March 13th- (5) Vanderbilt vs (2) Kentucky- 1:00, ESPN: This should be a fun conference championship game. Vandy has been hot, but I like the Cats to win this and earn a three-seed in the Big Dance, while Vandy should be around a seven or eight seed.
