2016 Big Ten Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2016 Big-10 tournament. The tournament will be held at Bankers Life Field House in Indianapolis, Indiana.

First Round
March 9th- (13) Minnesota (8-22; 2-16) vs (12) Illinois (13-18; 5-13)- 4:30, ESPN2
Prediction: Illinois

March 9th- (14) Rutgers (7-24; 1-17) vs (11) Nebraska (14-17; 6-12)- 7:00, BTN
Prediction: Nebraska

Second Round
March 10th- (9) Northwestern (20-11; 8-10) vs (8) Michigan (20-11; 10-8)- 12:00, BTN
Prediction: Michigan

March 10th- (12) Illinois vs (5) Iowa (21-9; 12-6)- 2:30, BTN
Prediction: Iowa

March 10th- (10) Penn State (16-15; 7-11) vs (7) Ohio State (19-12; 11-7)- 6:30, ESPN2
Prediction: Ohio State

March 10th- (11) Nebraska vs (6) Wisconsin (20-11; 12-6)- 9:00, ESPN2
Prediction: Wisconsin

Quarterfinals
March 11th- (8) Michigan vs (1) Indiana (25-6; 15-3)- 12:00, ESPN: Michigan lost it's best player for the season or else this game could have been an upset special and Tom Crean's team has a ton of momentum right now.
Prediction: Indiana

March 11th- (5) Iowa vs (4) Purdue (24-7; 12-6)- 2:30, ESPN: Iowa has fallen off a cliff lately while Purdue has been playing very well of late.
Prediction: Purdue

March 11th- (7) Ohio State vs (2) Michigan State (26-5; 13-5)- 6:30, BTN: Ohio State can make things interesting here but I love this MSU team. The Buckeyes should receive an at large bid in the Big Dance though.
Prediction: Michigan State

March 11th- (6) Wisconsin vs (3) Maryland (24-7; 12-6)- 9:00, BTN: This is perhaps the most intriguing game of this conference tournament. Wisconsin is playing very well under new head coach Greg Gard while Maryland hasn't played well at all of late. Give me the Badgers to advance.
Prediction: Wisconsin

Semifinals
March 12th- (4) Purdue vs (1) Indiana- 1:00, CBS: This matchup should be very interesting and either team can win this game. Indiana is just the hotter team at the moment and that's nothing against Purdue at all, who will likely be a 3 or 4 seed in the field.
Prediction: Indiana

March 12th- (6) Wisconsin vs (2) Michigan State- 4:00, CBS: I always love when these two rivals get together. I do think Wisconsin can win this game, but Denzel Valentine and company will make the conference championship game.
Prediction: Michigan State

Championship
March 13th- (2) Michigan State vs (1) Indiana- 4:00, CBS: This is such a great matchup. I love the way Indiana is playing right now, but who they don't have is Denzel Valentine. Give me Michigan State to earn a one-seed by winning this tournament and Indiana to end up as a two or three-seed.
