2019 Big-12 Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2019 Big-12 Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

First Round
3/13- (9) Oklahoma State (12-19; 5-13) vs (8) TCU (19-12; 7-11)- 7:00, ESPNU: The Horned Frogs have faltered down the stretch, but their the pick here against a bad Cowboys team.
Pick: TCU

3/13- (10) West Virginia (12-19; 4-14) vs (7) Oklahoma (19-12; 7-11)- 9:30, ESPNU: The Sooners have been a nice surprise this year, meanwhile the Mountaineers have been a major disappointment. Give me the Sooners here.
Pick: Oklahoma

Quarterfinal
3/14- (5) Iowa State (20-11; 9-9) vs (4) Baylor (19-12; 10-8)- 1:30, ESPN2: Two big surprises in the conference this year, give me the Cyclones here.
Pick: Iowa State

3/14- (8) TCU vs (1) Kansas State (24-7; 14-4)- 4:00, ESPN2: The Wildcats will survive this first one without Dean Wade against a Horned Frogs team that hasn't had a "wow" game in some time and will be holding their breaths on Selection Sunday.
Pick: Kansas State

3/14- (7) Oklahoma vs (2) Texas Tech (26-5; 14-4)- 7:00, ESPN2: The Sooners are probably in, even if they lose this game, so give me the Red Raiders led by Jarret Culver.
Pick: Texas Tech

3/14- (6) Texas (16-15; 8-10) vs (3) Kansas (23-8; 12-6)- 9:30, ESPN2: The Jayhawks are not the Jayhawks of old, but they'll win here against an overrated Longhorn team.
Pick: Kansas

Semifinal
3/15- (5) Iowa State vs (1) Kansas State- 7:00, ESPN2: The loss of Dean Wade will hurt the Wildcats as the Cyclones take full advantage and advance.
Pick: Iowa State

3/15- (3) Kansas vs (2) Texas Tech- 9:30, ESPN2: This rubber match between these foes should be fun. The better team is the Red Raiders led by Culvert.
Pick: Texas Tech

Championship
3/16- (5) Iowa State vs (2) Texas Tech- 6:00, ESPN: This should be a great game between these two foes. The Red Raiders are the better team and they'll win this game with hopes of landing on possibly the 1-line, but probably the 2-line.
Pick: Texas Tech
