2019 WCC Tournament Predictions

Here are my predictions for the 2019 WCC Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

First Round
3/7- (9) Pacific (14-17; 4-12) vs (8) Pepperdine (13-17; 6-10)- 9:00

Second Round
3/8- (9) Pacific vs (5) Loyola Marymount (20-10; 8-8)- 9:00
Pick: Loyola Marymount

3/8- (7) San Diego vs (6) Santa Clara (16-14; 8-8)- 11:00
Pick: Santa Clara

Quarterfinal
3/9- (5) Loyola Marymount vs (4) San Francisco (21-9; 9-7)- 10:00, ESPN2
Pick: Loyola Marymount

3/9- (6) Santa Clara vs (3) BYU (19-12; 11-5)- 12:00AM, ESPN2

Semifinal
3/10- (5) Loyola Marymount vs (1) Gonzaga (29-2; 16-0)- 9:00, ESPN
Pick: Gonzaga

3/10- (3) BYU vs (2) Saint Mary's (20-11; 11-5)- 11:00, ESPN2: Both of these teams are talented and the Gaels are shockingly in play for an at-large bid and that's largely because of the underachieving teams in the major conferences. The Gaels have been playing great of late too and I like them to advance here led by Matthias Tass,
Pick: Saint Mary's

Championship
3/11- (2) Saint Mary's vs (1) Gonzaga- 9:00, ESPN: I'm not buying the notion that the Gaels are seriously in play for an at-large bid, so they have pull off the upset to steal the bid. I don't see the Bulldogs losing in this tournament as Rui Hachimura, Brandon Clarke, Zach Norvell, and Filip Petrušev lead the way for them to perhaps the number one overall seed in the NCAA Tournament depending on what happens with some other top teams.
